Runners Roost

I’ve been running for years now but recently decided to get a new vest and a bladder rather than the two water bottles in the front. Unfortunately I got a defective bladder from another store but couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t work. Thankfully Michael at the Louisville RR clued me in and fixed it all for me today! He confirmed the problem was the bladder and not me and did the work calling the other store to get the info needed for a quick exchange. This saved me so much time and stress I couldn’t thank him enough.

What a great customer service experience! I’m a cyclist who’s trying to get into running for cross training purposes. Michael was very helpful and patient walking through the fitting process with a newbie. I love my new shoes! They are very comfortable and have a lot of cushion. And their return policy gave me a piece of mind.

This is my second time visiting this store to purchase running shoes. This time Michael was helping my teenage daughter and I to find the perfect shoe to match each of our activities. He helped us find the perfect fit, and offered great suggestions and different options for each of us. This store supports student athletes with a discount, and has a generous return policy. They also have a great selection of running clothes and accessories.

Comfortable, welcoming, helpful, straightforward and looking out for your best interest. I felt more like I was shopping with a knowledgeable friend than a sales person. Pointed us in the right direction and we couldn't be happier. Their return policy is very generous as well, but after taking our new shoes out on the trail I doubt we will use it. Betty is the best.

Great service! I’m overweight and am trying to get in better shape. I’ve never felt judged by the staff of this store. To a person, they’ve helped me get a great fit in shoes. Their prices are competitive with online stores and even better because they give a discount on your next pair when you donate your old shoes.

I had never been to Runners Roost before and I was pretty doubtful shopping in a running shoe store would actually help me find something I needed when I can always go online and have something shipped to my door. Dirk completely changed my perspective, he was super patient with all the shoes I tried on and he literally found me the perfect fitting shoe. I highly recommend this store/location, thank you Dirk!

The staff at Runners Roost is awesome, they will do their best to find a shoe they feel comfortable with you in.

They have a gait analysis tool to help see feet land and what style shoe will work best. It was really interesting to try on different stability shoes and see how they changed my stride. This beats many other shops around the area because instead of watching you run and guessing, they record and visually show you why this shoe is great.

I really enjoyed their patience, expert knowledge (different lacing techniques), and their continual friendliness through trying on many different pairs. I'm guessing we were there for an hour and finally found a pair that fit my strangely long middle toe, stability trail shoe need. They didn't have every model, but quite a good variety.

I absolutely love this store. I went for the first time yesterday. The employee I spoke with was super friendly and knowledgeable. She analyzed how I walked and then explained it to me. After the Marshall Fire in the Louisville/Superior area, Runners Roost Boulder and Louisville immediately jumped into action and set aside a portion of the Boulder store for donations of gear for people impacted by the fire.

The amount of clothes, shoes and running gear available was astonishing especially within days.

The Louisville store pulled together an event that included athletic vendors, beverages and a food truck. The amount of clothing and shoes provided by the vendors and community donations was breathtaking.

For me personally, running is such a large part of my identity. Feeling the love of the Roost community and being able to get a pair of shoes and some running gear for the cold weather is something I will never forget. Being able to run and process my thoughts and work through my list of to-do's has been so beneficial. Moments of normalcy!!

There are so many people to thank. Thank you all so much! I want to give a special shout out to Lauren, Tricia, RL, Monica, and Betty. It's not lost on me the amount of hours spent gathering donations, setting up tables, organizing by size and working with the vendors. Y'all are amazing and and our community is fortunate you are part of it.

Super helpful place. Sure you'll pay more than on Amazon but the personalized shoe fitting is worth every penny to avoid and get rid of any aches and pains. I've purchased the same pair of shoes in store and then on Amazon to try and save money. Even though it was the same model shoe, the one from Amazon felt like it has inferior padding. I ended up back in store to get inserts and now I'm back pain free. In the end, I ended up spending more trying to save money by purchasing cheaper shoes online. Lesson learned!

Salesman was very knowledgeable about shoes and made recommendations based on my foot, leg alignment, arch, foot strike, etc. I was not rushed and after trying out about 3 pair, I found a great match. I love the fit and was even offered an appreciated discount. Great store.

Had a wonderful experience here today. Betty was fantastically helpful getting me into a new pair of shoes. She was tremendously helpful in making suggestions for what to try and responding to feedback. I was happy to get to take a lap in each pair to see how they performed for me. This is the best running store in the Denver area! Lauren and Carly were very helpful when I brought in my dear friend Bruno for a new pair of hokas. They helped us determine he needed a pair of trail shoes with a smaller drop and he has been running pain free ever since! They also have a great selection of running socks! Keep up the great work!

At the Louisville Runners Roost I was treated with such respect and kindness by Michael. It was pleasantly refreshing to work with somebody who didn't rush me or who was not rushing himself. Thank you Michael,!!

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They even have doctor's, massage therapy, and other specialists that can help.

Molly was very knowledgeable on choosing the perfect running shoe. I have issues with bunions and it can be difficult to find a shoe that does not make them hurt more. She took the time to video me on the treadmill and ensure they were the perfect fit. I would highly recommend this store to anyone.

I've bought my last two pair of running shoes here and these folks are very, very nice and knowledgable about their products. I'm not a very good runner(I actually kinda suck at it), so drop in from time-to-time just to ask them any running related questions and they always answer them without trying to sell me anything. Good place and I'll be heading back there when it's time to get my next set of running shoes.
