Avalon Orthodontics has provided me with excellent service since day 1. They were very truthful with what I would need in order to best fit my needs! Anytime I had a problem with brackets or anything I was able to call them and get in A.S.A.P! They are very good with working with your schedule as well, as I am a teacher so I’m very busy. I have never smiled so much in my life! I never used to smile until they came about and provided me with the smile I always wanted. I had one gap that I was very conscious about, but they have gave me more confidence because it’s gone! #1 orthodontist in my opinion! Please come check them out for yourself!

Everyone is so very nice and pleasant. Tracey is so good at what she does. She always makes sure you are happy and comfortable with the wires and bands before you leave. Dr Sencak always lets you know how you’re progressing and what the game plan is. Great group of people

My sons first time in braces and everything has gone great so far! Dr and his staff are amazing and my son loves going there and earning his chips! Highly recommend!

They are very detailed so you know what to expect from the beginning. They staff is extremely nice and answer all questions. They let you know each visit what they are going to work on and what to expect for the next one. I have not one but 2 children that go here and would recommend anyone to this place.

Avalon Orthodontist has the absolute best team! They are warm, friendly, have great attention to detail, & have totally given my smile a 180 through their Invisalign process. It was a tricky case & they stuck with it to give me the perfect smile! I highly recommend this business & team to anyone!

Best orthodontist in Pittsburgh! My son got his braces on when he was 8 years old and he will be 10 in December this year. He should be getting his braces off very soon. We had a rough start because my son was so scared at first but Dr Sencak (excellent with children) was able to make a connection with my son instantly making our visits very easy. The entire staff is extremely friendly and easy to talk to. Also, it is very easy to get an appointment date and time you are looking for. I have recommended this orthodontist to many of people already and will be going back when my daughter needs braces.

Both of my children have been patients. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Scheduling is great with both early and later appointment options.

My son has been seen by Dr. Dahar and Dr. Sencak at the Avalon office. They are absolutely wonderful! They have always been very thorough and explain everything clearly in terms I can understand! 😊 The assistants go above and beyond to make Curtis feel comfortable at every visit!! All of the employees are SO friendly and patient! I have one already out of braces, and she looks beautiful. Scheduling is always easy for appointments, and they have been very understanding if an appointment needs switched. Highly recommend!

We are happy customers of Dr. Dahar and his staff. Always kind and willing to catch up with the kids. They are a big part of our community and always willing to participate at events with our schools. We have 3 in braces at our house and appoints feel like catching up with friends. Highly recommend.

All the employees are very kind. Whenever there was a problem with my braces, they would fit me in ASAP to fix it. Also, making appointments was easy and they would work around my schedule as much as possible. When they made appointments they would schedule them as early as possible too. I am so happy about my teeth. 10/10 recommend!!!

I am confident they make decisions in the best interest of my children. Dr. Dahar and his staff are the best! My two sons and I all had braces and couldn’t be happier with our SMILES! I got my braces on days before finding out I was pregnant with my second son. I was concerned about making the appointment times work as I had a two year old to accompany me to the visits. I am so pleased to say that the staff bent over backwards to accommodate us. Barb and Holly took my son under their wing so that I didn’t have to worry during my appointment. I don’t know of any other office that would do the same. They were truly amazing and made me feel like family! The atmosphere in the office is always warm and friendly. I am so glad that I had braces as an adult. It was well worth it. Dr. Dahar is a perfectionist and we will proudly carry our Dahar Smiles forever!

The most common thoughts for people when thinking of an orthodontist office or any type of doctors’ office for that matter is usually not happy or exciting. Some thoughts for me at least are a cold office, waiting a longtime in the waiting room, awkward small talk, some fear and most of all pain. At the Avalon Orthodontics office, all of these fears completely go out the window. Myself and my family have been patients there for almost 18 years now. When I was little this was the only doctor’s appointment that I was actually excited to go to. I knew the second that I got there I was greeted by a welcoming staff and no longer than five minutes I was called back for my appointment. That was always a big deal to me when I was little, I feel like the longer I would wait the worse my fears and the anticipation would be building up. As you are directed to your chair every single employee greets you and knows your name! This isn’t the small talk like “how is the weather outside,” or “how is your week going,” type. Every employee there asks and cares about your well-being! Oh and get this, they also remember your conversations, what doctors office have you ever been to that remembers your previous conversations like that? As a little kid, maybe the conversation wasn’t the most memorable but as an adult you truly understand how important it is and what a great quality that is to have. After Dr. Dahar and his amazing employees were done I knew I was on my way out for my pretzel and sticker at the front desk! Nothing was scary about any of my appointments and it was truly because of the welcoming and caring staff members. Even though I’m 28 now and don’t get a pretzel and sticker at the end, going to my appointments are never a hassle to me. For me my appointments are like going to see an old friend who genuinely cares about you. Do I recommend Avalon Orthodontics? Absolutely, and when I have a family of my own one day there is no other office I would rather send them. In the crazy world, we live in today it’s nice to know there is a business with such kind and caring people.

Avalon orthodontics is awesome! The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Sencak takes the time to explain all of the different options available for the patient. I am getting Invisalign to fix some shifts in my teeth as an adult. I am excited to see the final results! Scheduling is easy and very accommodating! Highly recommend!
