This is one of Pittsburgh's hidden gems in the city! Amazing place! Amazing service! Friendly EVERY SINGLE TIME! Never a disappointing experience here yet! The food is fresh all the time. Organic products are sold here. Just buy 1 for a treat. You will fall in love with them at first taste like I did. Amazing selection. Deli, hot foods, foods to go, coffee .... you name it, they have it.

If you like, there is a wine selection and room in the back. I have never gone back there. I prefer to experience life sober. :) There are multiple small tables now on the floor, which create a wider appearance, and make it a great place to go for individuals.

The store is expanded. And redeveloping itself. The owners are fabulous and friendly. A real treat to go here!

They are still struggling to survive post-pandemic, so please shop here to keep this Pittsburgh gem alive and well.

Great lesser known lunch spot! I eat here at least once a week. The sandwiches are fantastic, and the service cant be beat! Prices are great for downtown.

Love this store! Perfect spot for a quick bite on the run, deli is great, prepared foods, wine bar👌and they carry local products. Two Ugly Mugs Salsa is my favorite!

I had Market Street Grocery cater my bridal shower at Rodef Shalom, and pretty much all of my guests made a point of telling me it was the best brunch they ever had. The French toast was fantastic, as well as the veggie frittata & sausage. I fully intend on choosing them again to cater my rehearsal dinner.

I loveeeee this place. They have both salads and sandwiches MTO as well as homemade hot and cold items. All of the MTO items I have gotten have been delicious. The Brussel sprouts in the cold items are amazing. Anytime I am dt I always stop to see if they have Brussels. Would recommend for lunch. Guys behind the counter are great at service and making food.

The day I came here was really my last day for Breakfast stops. I came here thinking oh I'll probably just get some bagel or quick light sandwich and on my way, nope, different experience. I walk in, I didn't notice that I was also a small grocery store. Was greeted by a friendly guy who was doing everything, I grab myself a Cuban sandwich toasted. Once it was finished, I open a box and took a bite out the sandwich. That is one good sandwich, never think a sandwich would ever get this good! The cheese was amazing, the meats was a lot but it didn't feel heavy which I was surprised. This may come as a surprise but if I ever return here, I'm getting something else from here again!

I absolutely love this little market tucked away in Market Square. They have healthy food, fresh vegetables, as well as hot deli food. The salmon is fantastic. There is a quaint little wine bar attached where you can sit and order appetizers and wine and even get bottles of wine to go. Great wine selection. The staff is always, and I mean always so friendly and professional. There is even a little sweet shop in the corner!

A cool selection of gourmet foods and groceries with an awesome array of prepared foods for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There's always something new. The coffee bar is adorable and tasty (and Megan who works there is delightful!). The wine bar in the back is comfortable and classy - this place provides a bit of small-town-charm amid the city.

Friendly staff, good atmosphere, very nice, friendly and helpful staff; oh, did I mention THE COFFEE & THE FOOD!

Best breakfast. WONderful coffee. Very diverse and tasty menu. Open at 7 a.m. weekdays, so we get a good, hot meal to start the crazy work day, & a nice wine & spirits bar WITH GREAT FOOD to wind down. Can't aak for more!

Tried this place around noon and was surprised to see they didn’t serve lunch, but definitely not disappointed by breakfast. I know it’s pretty hard to mess up breakfast, but on a large scale it can dicey. The eggs were just the way I like it with good seasoning and some density, the potatoes were well cooked with a nice bite (maybe a little too salty), and the bacon was actually thick-cut and crispy. I will definitely go back for dinner sometime, but if there’s still breakfast available I might have to grab a little of that too.

The buy per pound food is always delicious and new. The grocery selections are limited and a little pricy but it's the only grocery store downtown. Wine bar is amazing and has a great $5 happy hour front 5-7

Great little place, they might not have everything a supermarket has but they carry some essentials. Fantastic breakfast selection and very good. And they are open early with quite a selection of coffees available.

Still my favorite place in all of Market Square. Organic foods, non-GMO, and more. I always order from their hot foods section. They make great sandwiches too. Everything from scratch. The ice cream is to die for with exotic flavors. As are the soups. They have coffee and tea. And macarons by Gaby et Jules.

Friendly bartender, seemed knowledgeable about the wines. We had a charcuterie plate, had lots of extras. Post menus! Websites don't often have pricing.

Great mini grocery store in the heart of downtown. Coffee bar, wine bar, fresh foods for breakfast or lunch and quiet space to do work if you need to hop in. Great to support a local business vs. coffee chain!

Cute little boutique market with a limited selection - mostly high quality or local goods.

I don’t think it’s an ample supplement for a full grocery, but if you’re in need of some staples while downtown it’s probably sufficient.

Their deli and prepared foods offering is a good value for lunch.

They serve Boar’s Head deli meats which for anyone who cares, knows that it’s a mark of at least excellence in the deli meat offering department.

The macaron shop inside is part of a local macaron program which produces some of the best macarons in the city.

I found this place about 3 weeks ago!! Excellent customer service everyday!! Good hot food options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good prices too!! They carry a little bit of everything!!

Always love shopping at Market St. Grocery. The staff is so accommodating and friendly. Always wearing masks. Bought some of their yummy Brussel sprouts, maple sliced ham and brownies. :)

Downtown had been lacking a grocery store & this place has been a great addition. It has a coffee bar up front & a wine bar in the back, as well as a rotating selection of prepared foods, Pittsburgh ice cream, & speciality foods.

It’s awesome to have a place downtown where I can pick up odds and ends before my evening commute home. It’s a speciality grocer, so the selection is limited, but they always seems to have exactly what I need. They also sell Mediterra bread, which is icing on the cake!
