I've gone to Meg a few times for help with legal matters, and each time she was extremely helpful, professional, and worked with me to resolve each issue promptly, and in my favor. She was very responsive and was able to explain my options in layman's terms--I felt I had, and understood, all the information I needed to make the right decisions and I felt she was really in my corner. Attorney Meg Burkardt efficiently and economically handled the administration of my sister’s Estate. Unfortunately, there was an income tax matter that delayed the final distribution. Meg worked diligently to complete all matters. As executor of the Estate, I was very satisfied with her services.

In response to Mr. Baucom's review, allow me to set the record straight,, He was deceptive and misleading from the outset. He misrepresented the needs and desires of his clients for his own gain. When questioned about this, he became aggressive, and threatening. The bottom line is his business practices lack all class and are 100% unprofessional.
In this transaction, Meg not only represented me and my family's interest to the fullest extent, but also assisted Mr. Baucom's clients to extent possible.
In addition, Meg did not deny the vendor the opportunity to serve his client, the clients realized the situation and dismissed this vendor on their own, It was not a difficult decision.
Meg is upstanding, and I would recommend her to everyone I know

I would not use this attorney. Terrible.... I did all of the work to settle our family Estate and she had the audacity to charge us for doing nothing and when we complained she filed a suit against us, using her law license underhandedly. We paid her. The only thing she did was put an ad or two in the legal journals advertising the Estate. Aside from that she did nothing. I prepared and filed all of the documents needed to close the estate. We should have filed a complaint with the Allegheny County Bar Disciplinary Board. Do Not hire or trust Meg. There are better choices. I would prefer not to even give one star...
