Boulevard Sweet Shoppe

I was walking through the streets of Oakmont when I stumbled upon this little sweet shop. The man inside of the shop informed me about all of the different flavors of fudge and other sweet treats which were being sold. You also have the option to try out some samples before you buy. Although all the truffles and chocolates looked delicious, today, I decided to just try the penuche fudge, peanut butter chocolate fudge, and the chocolate covered popcorn.

The penuche fudge was delicious, but also quite sweet (on the verge of being too sweet). When describing what the fudge tastes like, the shop owner said it is similar to a Werther's caramel. I agree; there is definitely a caramely taste. I tried a sample of the plain milk chocolate which was absolutely amazing. The triple chocolate fudge is also great and consists of white, dark, and milk chocolate.

The next fudge I got was the peanut butter chocolate fudge. It is made with Belgian milk chocolate (all the chocolate they use is Belgian). The chocolate flavor is perfectly sweet. The peanut butter flavor is strong and creamy. The texture is on point in both of the fudges. And, the price is quite reasonable with a 1/4 pound costing $5.

Finally, the chocolate covered popcorn was also great. A whole bag is just $3! The chocolate is by far the best part of this sweet treat. I believe it is the same high quality milk chocolate they use in their fudge. The popcorn itself was okay, but it was too buttery in my opinion.

All in all, I will definitely return to the Boulevard Sweet Shoppe. The service is friendly, there is a great sweet selection, and the flavors are quite good. When it comes to Oakmont sweets: get your baked goods at the Oakmont Bakery, and stop by the Boulevard Sweet Shoppe for candies, fudge, bark, and other sweets.

Fantastic all around, the owner is super friendly and the chocolates and fudge are extremely good.

The sad part is had we not driven past it and saw the sign we wouldn’t have know about it because of how it’s classified on google maps.

Nobody in my age group 30-35 is going to be searching for a sweet shop they are going to be searching for a chocolate shop. If this place updated its google presence and included chocolate in the business name or category I believe a lot more people would find this place and get to experience how great it is like my family did today

Bottom line if you found this review and are thinking about making a trip here stop thinking and pay it a visit it’s awesome and I would say the chocolate is better than Sarris

This store offers mostly fudges and chocolates but also some other treats such as gummies and Italian ice. During my visit, the employee spoke nicely to me and offered me free samples of his fudges. I purchased a few turtles and chunk of fudge. I thought that the prices were reasonable and that the turtles and fudge tasted good.

A cool little chocolate shop in the heart of Oakmont. Great service, amazing selection, and a very satisfied customer. Definitely recommend this shop for anyone's sweet-tooth.

Haven’t been in a candy shop for years. This place is excellent! Great selection. Tried the dark chocolate turtles- absolutely first rate. Going back for a sampling of fudges. There are at least a dozen flavors. Can’t wait! If you need a reason for a field trip go! There are several really good restaurants nearby for lunch or breakfast.

I bought my husband's anniversary gift here( chocolate truffles) , among other chocolates. He loved all the assorted flavors: cabernet, blueberry, black forest, black raspberry, etc.

The owner is a professional chocolatier who is very knowledgeable in his field and helpful in selecting what I wanted for my special occasion. I will be coming back.

I love this shop! We moved to Oakmont about 6 months ago and just recently came across this gem of a store! The lady working the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable on all the product, and she took the time to give us a “tour” of all the selections. We will definitely return to purchase more. The candy is delicious and reasonably priced!

Absolutely some of the best chocolate I've ever had. The chocolate oreos and pretzels are epic! Support your locals and check this hidden gem out! Highly recommended!
