Dr Lagnese has cared for our children since birth. She is an outstanding doctor and great with our kids. I highly recommend her.

Dr Lagnese seems to have a problem with children facing obesity, I do as well. However obese or not when a patient comes into the office complaining of stomach pains and decrease in appetite other tests should be done. My daughter had gotten to a point where she was only able to eat 1 or 2 bites of her food before feeling full and unable to eat more without pain, my daughter was 12 almost 13 at that time and yes she was overweight. However instead of ordering further testing Dr Lagnese declared that she was fine and it was most likely a way for her body to lose weight. She sent us home with no other testing, no medication, and a recommendation for a diet to change my daughters weight. About a month later my daughter began experiencing other symptoms that resulted in a 2 am emergency room visit where they found a tumor within her digestive tract. It’s great to encourage healthy diets but it’s not great when you believe obesity is the cause of everything and put someone’s life at risk because you want them to lose weight.
