Best sausage in Pittsburgh! Grills up so well and has the best taste you can find in this area. I’ve had the hot and sweet. It’s are awesome, but the hot is so good, I find myself thinking about it well after it is gone. I’ve bought from them for years and will just keep doing so.

Great local family owned establishment. They have hot foods prepared all day, so you can just walk in and order lunch. You can also order ahead for small takeout or order at least 24 hours in advance for large orders like for your Steeler/office party

Wonderful service and the food was INCREDIBLE. I got a meatball sub and an order of lasagna. I don't need to eat for a week after that meal!

The stuffed peppers will change your life. Go out of your way for Ricci's sausage. Grab a bite there if you want, but most certainly take some home to share with friends and family.

Nothing in the Greater Pittsburgh area compares to Ricci's Italian Sausage. Like a few other West Hills institutions that have become known nationally, Ricci's offers the variety, freshness, and pure taste that should become a staple for anyone not only for holiday meals but for everyday lunch and dinners. The extremely humble owner and mainstay of the company Ernie Ricci (I've never been in his store when he wasn't there greeting and working) is one of the decent owners who takes great pride in his establishment and quality of food. It's a true family business that should be frequented by everyone in the Pittsburgh area. If you live in the Pittsburgh area, you should take the time to visit this establishment. You'll not regret it. Kudos to the entire Ricci family, and thank you for providing such quality service.

I stopped into Ricc's for the first time today and ordered 2 hot sausage sandwiches with cheese. The sandwiches were full of flavor and the peppers and onions were very tasty. I have to say that the chefs at Ricci's know what they are talking about when we start talking about sausage peppers and onions. I will be returning and picking up some more sandwiches my next go around. Ricci's is one of my new favorite restaurants. Hurry and call and pick up something good to see eat!!😃

One of the last volume producers of authentic Italian sausage in the area. Great stuff!

Everything I’ve gotten here is delicious - meatball sandwiches, hot sausage, stuffed peppers, lasagna, Mac and cheese, sausage roll… it’s all amazing! I love the local and family-owned aspect of it too. I have learned from experience that they prefer you order ahead of time if getting a decent amount of meatballs (more than 6 or so), but totally understandable and very much worth it!

If you are looking for authentic Italian food this is a great choice! Set up like a deli inside with a food case out front and some back in the kitchen. Mostly a take out place. I have had authentic Italian food since I was a teenager and I have to tell you, this is the real deal! I have ordered meatballs, pasta fagioli, sausage roll, lasagna, a hot sausage sandwich and a couple other things. All have been excellent! Red sauce is very tasty and has a nice well balanced flavor. Also, the people that work there are also very nice. Definitely a bit off the usual Pittsburgher track out in Kennedy township. Not that far and worth while ride if you are looking for real Italian food! I recently gave a sample care package to my Italian lady friend and she texted me it was delicious! Enough confirmation for me! Highly recommended if you want great genuine Italian food to take home. We go here and pick up almost every week!

I'm picky about my hot sausage. Most hot sausage doesn't have the texture I'm looking for. It's usually ground too fine and their are no fennel seeds etc. Moreover, much of the hot sausage around here is not hot (spicy) at all. I found myself in the neighborhood of Ricci's Italian Sausage, a mom 'n pop store selling homemade everything (just check their website). So I took a gamble and stopped in. The family/workers were very polite. They have their roots in Abruzzo. We spoke about their sausage making process. I ordered two HS sandwiches and 2lb's of the rope HS. I made a joke about "opening up a store in the South Hills where I live?" They informed me that their sausage and other products are available in the South Hills; Pasta Too in South Park uses their sausage and Cibrone Bakery in Castle Shannon sells their products and has hot sausage sandwiches every Thursday for lunch! At any rate, I get home, put the rope HS in freezer and then begin to eat the sandwich. I was supremely impressed. I finally found the quality and taste I prefer. I savored my lunch and as I did so, for a fleeting second I thought I was in...Abruzzo. AAA+++

The ONLY PLACE you should ever get your hot sausage from! A little known secret is that they have already cooked hot sausage ready for you! A pan of 12, with fresh shredded cheese and fresh sausage rolls for $40! Plenty of other hot food to choose from as well!

We get the sausage all the time and it's great. I had a meatball sub there for the first time.....Amazing....their meatballs were so flavorful and moist, they melted in my mouth. I loved every bite and will be back for more.

Best Italian sausage and the nicest people you can find anywhere. We live in Virginia and get it shipped to us every year for the Super Bowl. My whole family looks forward to it every year. They all start asking me a month before the game if I've ordered the sausage yet.

We tried the hot and sweet sausage sandwiches the other day and they were both so good!! And the guy who works there (probably the owner) was very friendly and went over everything they had - he was great! Highly recommend this place & we'll definitely be going back!!

Delicious food every time, I particularly love the hot sausage. They also still the food refrigerated/frozen so you can cook it yourself. Great little Italian place and the staff is always friendly as well.
