I would rate higher than 5 stars if I could! Everyone who works here is great and so kind! This was my first time getting my hair dyed, and Angela did such a great job and truly went above and beyond.The atmosphere was great, as well as the conversations, recommendations, hair advice, products, etc. Everything about Kindred is the best. Could not recommend more and had the best experience. I can't wait to go back!

Kindred Beauty is an absolute gem in the world of haircare, and I couldn't be happier with the stellar service I've received over the past decade. Paula, along with her partner Lauren and Anj, have truly mastered the art of hairstyling. I've been a loyal client since Paula's days at Vans Salon, and my loyalty only grew stronger when she and Lauren opened Kindred in 2020.

As a male client, finding a stylist who understands and respects your preferences can be a challenge, but at Kindred Beauty, I've never once felt like just another head to chop off. Paula and Lauren take the time to listen to my needs and always deliver beyond my expectations.

Not only are Paula and Lauren incredibly talented stylists, but they've also created a warm and welcoming atmosphere at Kindred Beauty. The moment you walk through the door, you're greeted with genuine smiles and a sense of belonging.

Whether you're a long-time client like myself or someone searching for a hairstylist who truly cares about your hair goals, I wholeheartedly recommend Kindred Beauty. Five stars doesn't even begin to capture the excellence they consistently deliver.

I've been going to Lauren for cut and color for about a year. She's fantastic! I love that the hair color products she uses actually smell good and are gentle. The richness of the color is also excellent. I'm so pleased with how my hair looks and feels for weeks and weeks after. Plus the salon has a homey, nurturing vibe with tons of plants and cozy furniture. Really a lovely experience from the moment you step into the salon all throughout.

I stopped in on a whim because of the amazing plants in the windows. When I got inside I was greeted by Hank the most lovable pup. I got a quick trim from Paula who definitely knows what she is doing with hair. I found out that the products they use are reasonably sourced and then disposed of responsibly as well. I took my son back to get his hair cut and was impressed with how many questions were asked as to what he wanted.

The rest of the women were incredibly nice. And the overall environment was inviting and friendly.

I have been going to Lauren for years and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. She has transformed my hair from dull to full of life and healthy. I love telling people who compliment my hair that it’s all thanks to her. I was so happy when her and Paula decided to open Kindred and then bring sweet Angelia to the team. They all do such an incredible job and make you feel at home while you’re there. Overall 10/10 place and people. I can’t say enough good things about them :)

Ángela always does a great job with my hair. The girls at Kindred will take great care of you! A welcoming environment that is environmentally conscious!

I had a great experience getting my haircut here with Angela! She listened to what I wanted, and was happy to adjust along the way. I loved how the cut turned out. The salon is smaller, and that makes it feel much more personal. I also love that they carry locally sourced products. I will definitely be back!

I love Lauren. She really takes her time with my hair. She listens to what I want but also makes professional suggestions, which I appreciate. I feel very well taken care of there. She goes out of her way to make sure that I am comfortable the whole time. The products that she uses and now that I use at home, have made my hair healthier than it’s ever been. Both Lauren and Paula are very knowledgeable about hair cuts and products that are best for their clients. I highly recommend this salon! My teenage boys like to go to Lauren as well to get their hair cut!

I have been getting my hair cut by Paula at Kindred Beauty and Wellness for about 10 years. I was thrilled when she opened Kindred Beauty and Wellness and I followed her even though it’s further from my home.

Paula is passionate about quality cut and color, takes her time to explain how to properly dry my hair for its texture. Paula is extremely ethical and contacted me to refund money when I had accidentally keyed in my tip for the wrong amount.

The Salon is clean, bright, and fresh with plants and a very relaxing experience.

Chelsea, Lauren and Paula run a great business, are on time, professional, and fun. I would definitely recommend.

I've been getting my haircut by Paula for many years now and followed her to Kindred Beauty even though it is a further drive for me.

Paula knows my hair and helps me to accomplish exactly what I want with each haircut. Her strong skills and experience shine through when she cuts, styles, and dries my hair. Additionally, she is always helpful when I need hair advice (bangs?, middle part?) and lessons on styling (Hello beach waves!).

To top it off Paula (along with Chelsea and Lauren) has created such a friendly environment at Kindred Beauty. I truly enjoy my time sitting in Paula's chair while having my hair done right!

I have known Paula, Chelsea and Lauren for a number of years and was happy to follow them in their new location. The salon is welcoming and charming. My hair is thick and has become curly. They came up with a great color and give me a wonderful cut and tips on how to manage my curls. I always look fabulous and wish I could have them do my hair every day! I also love that they use organic, environmentally friendly products. My hair has never felt and looked better.

I love the atmosphere of this salon. Truly a great experience every time I go get my hair done. Angela is AMAZING!

Paula is a hair color genius. She makes my hair look so fabulous I always a schedule a night out after a cut or color. And Lauren does a wonderful job with my brows and nails. Plus the atmosphere is just lovely.

Paula is the best!! I’ve gone to her for years and I followed her to the new location in Wexford. She is truly an expert and is so talented. She always takes the time to listen to what I want and works with me to make my hair look perfect. Not to mention the welcoming, relaxing, comfortable atmosphere of their salon! I went to see Lauren R to get my hair done ( color correction, cut) and let me tell you all, she is absolutely the best and very knowledgeable when it comes to her field. I went in pretty much to get a make over and I definitely did! I wanted something more subtle, more blonde but not too flashy and she was right on point, also managed to keep my hair healthy as well, my hair was super soft shiny and silky, we brought out my natural curl and did color correction. I am very happy with final result. I left the salon feeling like a new woman! Not to mention what a pleasant experience even being there, she’s very fun to talk to, accommodating and very caring as well! Can’t wait to come back and see her in a few months.

Lauren and Paula left a location in Sewickley to open their own salon in the North Hills. I didn’t hesitate to follow Lauren to the new location. She is the first stylist to ‘get’ my hair. We all know how challenging this can be. I change my look fairly often and I usually show Lauren a picture and she gets it exact each and every time. Not only is she great at her job but she’s an amazing person. I will not go to anyone else.

I have been going to Paula for several years and not only she is excellent with color and styling but she is a simply a great person to know. I followed her from the Sewickley location and love the vibe of the salon she & Lauren so carefully created, and appreciate the conscientious manner in which they run their business. I've been going to Paula at Kindred Beauty for years for hair color, hair cuts, and blow outs. She's cut my husband's hair for years too. I love all the natural products she uses and always feel beautiful when I leave!
