10/10 for customer service and charm. Their deli has the best chicken salad I’ve ever had, they usually have a couple premade sandwiches, sometimes on a pretzel roll, it’s my go to quick lunch if I’m anywhere near Sewickley. All of their prepared foods are super delicious and always really fresh.

First, I was surprised to see 4 registers open. I had not been in there for months. They are always friendly and helpful. This trip was no exception. I only needed one item and I found it very fast and was on my way home. ALWAYS a good experience at Safran's. Thank you.

Safe and market has been a staple of the Sewickley community for decades. They thrive on customer service and do everything for the customer. The employees are always helpful and courteous. Fresh food and good prices.

It would be tempting to describe Safran's Supermarket as a simple, local grocery store that provides limited options for people living in the immediate area. However, in spite of its size, the supermarket offers a wide variety of items. The produce and meat departments are excellent, and they're prepared foods are delicious. They have an extensive selection of cheeses as well. The staff is friendly, courteous, and very helpful.

Excellent local Supermarket!! The staff are extremely friendly. The whole place just has a good vibe when you walk in. I'm lucky enough to live walking distance to this place. I would highly recommend Safran's Super Market. Oh and did I mention the excellent Deli!!

Safran's Market has been customer friendly since I have been shopping there for over 10yrs and at a time like this it's so emotionally and psychologically essential to have a store not exploiting the situation for their profit but genuinely caring about their staff&their customers. Helen is a perfect example she welcomed me from day one&she still takes a warm friendly interest in me&my doggie and Jeanie &the others at the checkout follow that mindset. And I have to say the fruit pies that I order from Mark&Victoria in the deli depart are a clear example of the quality of small business outshining brand names. Beyond a warm greeting&gratitude when you pick up the pie at an always affordable price there's the quality that goes into the baking itself-far above Mrs Smith&etal.

Now they have had to make changes in attire masks and gloves and plexiglass around the checkouts for their protection as well as ours. But these changes are merely external.Nothing can alter their warm generous hearts and spirits.

Was working in sewickley right next to safran's so went in to see what they had for hot foods or something for lunch, I got a pre made deli sandwich and it was very very fresh great sandwich....

I call Safran's my "pantry!" I'm lucky to live close enough to it, that if I need a grocery item, it doe not take long to go and pick it up! Prices are very reasonable...I dare say comparable to Giant Eagle. Plus, the cashiers are super-wonderful. And, notary service is available--for just $5!

I'd rather go to a superb little grocery store like this than a Wal Mart any day. The products they sell here are top quality and delicious. And in the quaint little town of Sewickley, Safran's is the place to go!

It's the best shop in a 10 mi radius. The have specialty items as well as a bakery. I bake at Panera and giant eagle, trust me saffrans has a solid bakery for a small store. Helen is the store manager and she is the best manager I have ever met!

Not many of these independent markets left, and we're lucky to have one in the Sewickley community that's easy to access and adds to the charm of the village. I'd way rather support them than Bezos, the Walton family or the Shapiras. It's a gem - thanks Safran's.

I love Safran's!! It is a local convenient hometown grocery store. I do not like the large chain grocery stores & rarely if ever to I shop at those. Safran' has what I need I frequent it weekly.

This is a really nice small grocery store. Prices are a bit higher than most but it's Sewickly. Real nice people. Mom & Pop shop feel.
