The Alcove

Me and my family had a wonderful time at the alcove, the karaoke and pool table were just some of the entertainment provided. The service was astounding. To put it in simpler terms, our server crushed it. The atmosphere gave gave a warm glow. The food was delicious. I will most certainly return!!

Staff was very friendly and the food was awesome. Ate there twice while staying at the Holiday Inn. First time I got the fish sandwich and chips and the sandwich was pretty big and tasted good as well as the chips. Second time I got the BBQ bacon burger and it tasted great. Hope to go back some day soon.

JoJo was my server and he single-handedly held the place together. He served drinks with a smile and also bought my delicious entree. I would highly recommend this establishment especially if you have the pleasure of JoJo as your server.

My first impression put a smile on my face. We were greeted and served by Judi. She was great. We explained it was our first time visiting. The restaurant is open and airey. The food was served fast, hot,and tasted good. Plenty of TV's. Music was good,not blaring. There are 2 large window garage doors, looking forward to the summer time experience with them opened. Lol, we'll be back before then though.

Try their shrimp tacos! Lots of flavor and very filling. Their fries are so amazing and my friend loves their burgers. I was told they cook them to perfection! Convenient little place in a plaza next to a lot of offices. Great stop for a good priced lunch.

Chicken pesto Panini, french fries and a sprite! I also order a pulled chicken salad with chips (I didn’t take a picture of it though 🤷🏽‍♀)

This is one of my favorite lunch places. Great food, great people at a good price! This is my favorite chicken pesto panini sandwich.

The pesto is creamy goodness. Their french fries are ridiculously good! The sandwich is very good & I don’t have any issues with the chicken. I hardly ever drink pop but every once in a blue moon I’ll have one.

The pull chicken salad is very popular!!! I love it! 💕 I get chips to go with it since that’s how I had to to start & now it’s the only why that I like it! Their chips are like Burgatory’s but better. They are made fresh. You could also get it in sandwich form.

My friend and I found this place while visiting PA! The staff was so friendly and the food was absolutely amazing! We will definitely be coming back!

Got the pesto chicken avocado salad with mixed greens . Food was excellent & service was on point . I would definitely recommend checking this place . They also have pool table , 2 poker machines ,two dart boards.

Best place to drink and eat. Food and drinks are delicious and the bartender Jojo is amazing 👏

My parents and I stopped in after flying from Arizona & California, with a three hour drive ahead of us. We were looking for a quick bite to eat and The Alcove's kitchen was about to close, but they graciously made us a couple sandwiches.

My parents both got the chicken panini and I got the pulled pork sandwich. It was delicious, fresh, and from scratch!

The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was fun! I could tell they had high standards and truly delivered quality food and service.

Stayed at the hotel next door to here. Best fries. Chill atmosphere. Food was great. Lunch is busy but oh so worth it. Came back to Pittsburgh recently and waited for the doors to open to eat and make sure I took fries back home. If you are in town. Definitely stop by.

The GF and I came here for dinner a bit after 5PM on a Wednesday. Parking wasn't an issue and the restaurant was nice, open, and clean. Our bartender/waitress was prompt and nice. We both got burgers and fries which we both really enjoyed. While I only got water, the beer selection looked pretty decent. The only downside (not even a downside) was that it wasn't too busy. Hopefully more people hear about this spot and check it out!

Happened by since we were staying at the Holiday Inn next door for a weekend getaway. The four of us went in for dinner and ended up staying for hours on Friday 09/09/2022. The mixed drinks are downright cheap and made well. There happened to be Karaoke that evening and typically not a fan of this at all, but they had some real talent show up. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and Amy our server was wonderful. The food was great and we also had a few appetizers. The bill for four of us was unbelievably inexpensive for what was consumed over a 6 hour period.
We went to go back on Saturday evening , but the live music was so loud that we didn't even walk all the way in. Sorry, the band sounded fine, but people do like to still be able to talk amongst themselves without screaming into the ear of those they came with. If you like music so loud it thumps your chest, this is the place on a Saturday. If not, try another time than a Saturday night, as you will enjoy the food, the service, and the more than reasonable costs.

Had a BBQ pulled pork sandwich. Pretty decent sandwich. There are free sodas on location. Definitely stop by if you need a Sandwich or two. Here's the menu, just incase

The Alcove is a great spot for breakfast and lunch. The menu has a variety of items, the food is fresh and delicious, and the service is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Highly recommend! The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. I had a great experience at The Alcove and I will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

Little bit of a hidden gem. Nice open interior with pool table, dart boards, machines, etc. I had the bacon cheeseburger with onion rings and it was pretty good and generous with the toppings. The fries were great. Good amount of drink options from bar

big spacious bar with an awesome atmosphere! Lots of tvs along with darts and pool. Great food menu too with lots of delicious choices! love their chicken wings 🤩 you can’t go wrong with this place.. deff check it out !!! 😊

Our first time dining and having a cocktail here, also mention, their first time offering a dinner menu, instead of just lunch! We were pleased! Very nice large open front area, bar included, pool table at the far end, couple of bench seating tables, spaced nicely, high ceiling! Back area, beyond the back of the bar, lower ceiling, scattered tables, kitchen area, beyond the curtain (reminds me of the Wizard of Oz, when they looked behind the curtain and found the "King" to not be, the true king), the menu was varied, something for every palate! Food came, cooked to our liking, presentation is and was pleasing! Our servicer was pleasant and informative, when we had a couple questions about the ingredients! Food was right on the mark! We will be returning again, soon! Thank You! ☆☆☆☆☆
