Cafe Raymond

Great, clean and welcoming place on the Strip for breakfast and lunch. Excellent portions for the money. Food isn't greasy like lots of the places around the corner and around the block. Thick and juicy bacon, endless coffee. Will be back again soon! A++

Great decor. I like the format here where you look at the menu in line and pay at the front.

Fast service. Staff was courteous. The doorman was kind and informative. Food was good with a few exceptions; the potatoes were a little too salty. Smoked Salmon Platter was good, but it looked more like an antipasto than a breakfast option. You might as well enjoy your stay because you won't be in your phone very much; the cellular signal will be weak indoors.

Delicious brunch & wonderful staff who were very friendly & welcoming of our large group with little kids. We much preferred the vibe here over neighbouring brunch spots that were not nearly as welcoming. Also loved that this spot lets you bring in coffee from the specialized coffee shop next door!

Great breakfast spot! The staff was incredibly kind and provided good recommendations. We were seated upstairs right by the patio with a good view of the street. All of our food was fresh and delicious- large portion sizes too. Definitely recommend coming here if you are on the strip!

This is one of the city's best breakfast and lunch spots! Everyday is great! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. And the staff are really amazing.

The service was perfect, the chefs were fast and very talented. We had a sandwich and a wrap, both were delicious. Cannot give higher praise, it’s just a great place.

We stayed downtown and made a trip to the strip district and decided to eat breakfast at Raymonds. We enjoyed it so much we came back a second day;Eveyone Loves Raymond. I had Yuriys Breakfast the first day and 2 Eggs breakfast the second day. Everything was very tasty but the breads and pancakes were the highlights. I loved the coffee and ambience, we paid a little more to sit on the balcony overlooking the street.

I wish I had found this place sooner. I visit the Strip District every time I’m in Pittsburgh. We really wanted a brunch option and stumbled upon Cafe Raymond. We went in 2021, so not sure if the service system is still the same, but although the line was long the two times we went, it moved so quickly. Very good and efficient service, and ample amount of seating upstairs with the fun option of sitting on the outside balcony with great views of the Strip and Downtown. Will definitely go back! Food was delicious.

Best place for clean and delicious breakfast or lunch in the strip!!!! We love it here- the options are amazing with all very high quality ingredients. We have never been disappointed!

Our first time and definitely not our last. The food was so simple but so good. Highly recommend the cold Irish cream coffee and the smoked salmon patter. My husband so the blueberry ricotta pancakes were delicious. Love the gluten free options.

Have been going to Cafe Raymond even before the new location. Yes, their breakfasts & lunches are delicious, but their catering is off the charts! We had a Rehearsal Dinner here that people are still raving about. The food choices were unique, the venue was Pittsburgh-tastic. Chef Raymond bends over backward to provide a first class experience.

Cafe Raymond never disappoints. Awesome selections. The potatoes come with just about everything, and for good reason.

The upstairs has more space as well as a balcony to sit at.

I ordered a burger while the rest ordered sandwiches and salads.
The burger and the sandwiches come with lots of potatoes and also come with a huge pickle.
The burger is HUGE !. The height is about half a foot tall.
The buns are soft.
The meat is tender enough.
I am very full and satisfied after eating this for lunch. In fact I skipped dinner that day.

The salad isba large tray of vegetable. Fresh vegetables. Simply amazing.

There was a line out the door and we were a table of 7 and they were able to seat us. The food was really good and the service spot on. They have a delicious gluten free bread and the roast beef was scrumptious. This is a do over.

Wow just wow! I am blown away by this place! Max is beyond a sweetie and the food is insanely delicious and huge portions! Got the brown bag special and wow I have two meals to eat today! Huge salad, Huge sandwich, potatoes and free refills so go nuts (as Max says!) ! Big hearts for you Max! Thanks for such a great experience and thank you to the kitchen for cooking beyond delicious food!!!

Best kept secret in the strip. Family run business and all hard workers. Make you feel at home and the food never disappoints. My go to is the BLT, but everything is yummy. I’ve never had a bad experience and I come often. Love you guys!

The burgers are sooooo good! I went expecting to order a salad but their burger descriptions were too enticing. Loved having the breakfast-style fried potatoes and homemade pickle on the side. We sat on the roof and enjoyed the breeze and the view over the Strip. Can't wait to go back and try something different.

Excellent breakfast menu! The concept is great, walk in -order & pay, they give you a number which they place at a table for you and bring your food when it's ready. The upstairs has an elevator to access and is spacious with a deck for outside dining. The food was served promptly and was delicious - their croissants hold a whole omelette! The wait staff was extremely friendly, generous with the coffee refills and clearing the tables. Extra touches like self serve water carafes (regular and fruit infused) on each floor make it a cozy experience. Get there early on weekends (they open at 9 Sundays) and you'll be in and out without a problem.
