Omg what an amazing discovery I stumbled upon during a Strip District Open Streets event. Lots and lots of selections and preparations of various oils, sauces, spices, vinegars and balsamic which you can sample until you find the one best suited for your purchase. There were lots of other kitchen items for sale here too. We really enjoyed our visit and the quality customer service we received on Sunday last month. We will be back as recurring customers to try and take home more options! Pleased with our find.

I went with my boyfriend today just to peek in at the selection as he’s a huge fan of olive oils and balsamic. We had the BEST customer service experience we’ve ever received at an establishment. Bob, the store owner, saw we had bought kimchi from a local Korean grocery store down the street and tailored his recommendations to that plus our tastes. We were free to sample as many as we liked after his expert advice and selections. We DEFINITELY will be coming back after we run out of the Tuscan herb olive oil, garlic and mushroom olive oil, red wine vinegar, and four leaf clover balsamic. Can’t recommend this place enough for anyone interested in a good olive oil or enjoying a nice weekend in the strip!

We stopped next door at East End Taproom and wandered over. The salesman engaged us and and gave us a few samples and invited us to try more. Everything was good and I didn't know there were so many variations of olive oil and vinegar. I will definitely consider visiting next time I need to refill my cooking oils.

Absolutely fantastic olive oil. I came and got the Spanish gold olive oil, and I was overwhelmed with the quality and taste of this fine quality olive oil. I finished the whole bottle in less than a month. I add this olive oil along with bourbon balsamic vinegar to my salad and I can’t describe how amazing this is. Definitely recommend!

The clerk was super friendly. Customer service was excellent, even exceeding my high standards. For the olive oil AND balsamic vinegar lovers this is HEAVEN! You get opportunities to try the products before you buy them. I must've picked up 5 of them today. The strawberry is a must try. And if you love coconut that is a must try too!

A incredible variety of olive oil and vinegar. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Tried several samples and decided to take two bottles. They should work really well with Italian twist

Amazing! Went in for butter infused olive oil. Came out with that plus some yummy peach vinegar. You're able to try everything and it's so good. The sales woman Lauren was so cool and helpful. I can not wait to go back and buy more flavors including the BlackBerry.

I was in to your store yesterday and let me just say that the whole experience was GREAT.

Troy and I stopped in by chance after having Primanti Bros and weren't sure what kind of store was even in that location. We just saw the courtyard from across the street with the lights and thought "why not stop by and see what's going on over there."

I am so happy we did. When we first walked in I'll admit it was a bit overwhelming with all of the varieties or oil and vinegars. LOTS and LOTS of jugs! Lauren walked over though and asked if we were looking for anything in particular. Since we weren't, she asked if she could give us a few tasters. We're not one to turn down samples so we said yes.

It was fantastic! So many different options and flavors. Flavors I truly didn't think a balsamic vinegar could have (honestly, one tasted like watermelon jolly ranchers or another fig and habanero, sweet AND spicy lol.) We walked out with three bottles since she was so great! Definitely wouldn't have without Lauren talking us through where they were from, what they would pair good with, and little recipes we could try out with them.

I'm typically an "Ill just get my oil from the grocery store" kind-of guy but now I will def be making special trips in the future for my oil!

Great selection of oils and vinegar. You can sample each before you buy, so you don't have to worry whether you'll end up liking what you've purchased. Been back twice, friendly employees.

Great place for vinegar and olive oils. It wad my first time there but mist certainly plan on returning. They have a wide variety and very unique selection. I strongly recommend this place to anyone who has a love for quality olive oil and and vinegar yo stop in. I promise u won't be disappointed

Stopped in for the first time today, and was very pleased with the experience. The man working (didn't catch his name), was so helpful and basically had us sample everything! Top quality oil and vinegars...I will definitely come back!

Love the assortment of vinegar and olive oils available. I bought 3 of each and it was so hard to narrow down which to choose. All great quality. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Delicious, high quality olive oils and other specialty food products. Staff are very pleasant and knowledgeable. Very cool atmosphere. Wonderful experience overall. We stop in every time we make a trip to the strip district!

Went here for the first time today and had a great experience. The gentleman who helped me was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The oils and vinegars taste amazing. Can’t wait to take my husband next week!

Carries nothing but delicious olive oils and scrumptious balsamic vinegars. Pricey, but soooo good. Service is attentive, and you can taste the products to your heart's content. Their basil infused oil and lemon vinegar are my favorites. Unless you know the few secret places to park free in the Strip, you must pay to park on the street, in one of the lots, or a bit farther away in one of the garages. Add The Olive Tap to your list of places to visit in the Strip along with Penzey's and The Pennsylvania Macaroni Company. Oh, and Pamela's. And Mancini's. And so forth!

We walk in planning to buy one bottle and walk out with almost a case. The staff is amazing and very helpful to make suggestions, which is why we leave with many bottles....lol

I'm Italian and cook with a lot of oil. This is so fresh and delicious! I come every trip to Pittsburgh, I miss living near it mmmm.
