Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar

We were nervous at first because the parking lot was packed. Got us in within a few minutes, food came out so quickly, and staff was so helpful! $85 for 5 meals and 2 appetizers! Not bad!

Have stopped here repeatedly over the years and never a bad experience. We decided to try and ask for the out of the ordinary tonight, kielbasa on the pizza. They asked the manager (Austin) and he was more then happy to say yes. Needless to say pizza was delicious and once again this location lives up to the name on the door. Please continue this way, your servers are excellent, food is always good, and portions are filling. Plus who am I kidding. I order the bigger sandwich anyway it's a better deal!! Thank you all. Kayla has been our server on more than one occasion and always a delight !!

Food was great. Waitress was amazing! Only negative is that it was a bit too warm. Would have been more comfortable with ceiling fans on. Bit it's PA and with ever changing weather, it is sometimes hard to control inside temp in large spaces.

This Harmarville location is perhaps the best Primanti Bros location I've been to. We came in with a 14U hockey team and the staff was very courteous, quick and extremely patient. Our main server, and I apologize for forgetting his name as I type this, was outstanding. And the food was what you'd expect from Primanti. Excellent visit, I'll definitely return.

I had a Turkey and cheese sandwich. It was delicious as usual. Portions are so big, it served as lunch and dinner. I had them put the slaw and fries on the side so it would be easier to reheat later. So, my left overs were just as delicious. We had good service. Food came out quick and our server was on top of things. The restaurant was clean and inviting.

We really enjoyed our sandwichs here. The waitress was wonderful and the 2 eat for 20$ deal was an excellent price. The place was so busy, and the parking lot was full, but our service was fast and the wait not too long at all.
Definitely recommend.

Haven't had primanti bros in such a long time. The food has never disappointed me. Today was nothing less than to be expected however I did have an amazing waiter. His name was Joseph L. Super nice kid, didn't wait long for anything. He was very attentive, very polite, and very helpful. I wish that more wait staff was as nice, and welcoming as this young man made my mother and I feel. So I just want to say thank you to that young man for making my experience a good one.

Primantis is a Pittsburgh restaurant chain that has the unique sandwich with the fries included, it's a regional treasure and I really enjoy going there, you always leave full.

It's COLD up north, but the food is amazing! Crazy BIG sandwiches at Primanti Brothers restaurant in Pittsburgh.
First time ever coming in for dinner but we will be back when it's warmer for a Pirates game hopefully soon. Great food and wonderful service.

Primantis is always a great time. The original location in the Strip is somewhere that your guests will always remember! And their bogo pizza on Thursdays is the best deal for everyone from college kids, to big families. 4 large pizzas for $45?? We love it!

Up until the last 6 months I never once stepped foot into a Primanti Bros restaurant.

That being said, since i have that day around September this location has quickly skyrocketed to my most preferred restaurants.
Especially the one server I've dealt with basically each time, a young man named Jaden, who is incredibly attentive, professional, and friendly all wrapped up in an awesome person that fits the job superbly well.

Now, for the food. Appetizer wise, several good choices. So far in my few visits I've had their Zucchini planks, bavarian pretzel, and Primanti sized fries (customized like the loaded fries with cheese sauce, bacon, and ranch).
•The zucchini planks are perfectly fried with soft centers but crispy edges and the home style marinara dipping sauce is on the sweeter end but that's perfectly fine.
•he big bavarian pretzel is famtastic since it tastes like a proper homemade sourdough which happens to be quite delicious with the honey mustard.
•The Primanti sized fries are a large enough quantity to share with 3 or 4 people

I have had a few of their burgers and handhelds so far

•The Reuben, the corned beef is perfectly cooled, tasting almost slow smoked, the sauerkraut isn't too vinegary or too bland, has just the right amount of salty and still sweet flavor/textire making it a fantastic choice no matter what

•The Fried chicken sandwich is phenomenal. The chicken is flaky, and the breading gives it that I request that they make it more like a burger, because i love my veggies, and their veggies always seem to be quite crisp and fresh. They don't seem to mind special requests at all, you just gotta ask

•The Brothers Burger is also a wonderful choice. The beef seems to be a lean Angus choice, which for me is wonderful since i have to watch my cholesterol a bit, The egg and pastrami on top changes the flavor in a excellent fashion. i prefer mine medium well, but again they will honor a different request

•The Big Don handheld is amazing. The slightly crisped cooked edges of the meat(If you're a meat lover) gives the sandwich as a whole a wonderful blend of textures and flavor combos with every bite

All their food blends flavors in a resplendent manner. And the staff is wonderful. This is a great choice for yourself, you and a significant other, or a party group to dine in and have a great time

Vibes were so good. Went with my boyfriend & his dad (who was visiting from Serbia) & our group was 12 people - so quite a bit. We never needed anything. They had Bell’s beer which was badass because I had previously visited the brewery a while back. If I lived in that area I’d be there all the time. Amazing deals & food. I could decide between the Rueben & a burger so I got Rueben fries & the burger. Amazing. My “father in law” couldn’t stop taking pictures

Lunch with my wife enjoyable day. Great food good price I will return my wife is hard to please! She loved it.

Love going Tuesdays & Thursdays! I visit the bar for a couple drinks while my girls are at soccer practice. The bartenders are attentive & friendly. Drinks are great & the pizza special is amazing!!!

Justine, let me start off by saying. She has amazing customer service skills. She has a beautiful attitude and was so helpful. I was ordering online and she provided me with all the info even when I asked for a recommendation she was on it. Primantis has definitely found themselves an enthusiastic and caring workers. Great food at great prices! Always stop at Primanti Bros when I'm in town. The atmosphere is awesome and there are lots of tv's for all the sporting events.

We are not from PA, however as soon as we get to Pittsburgh we go there 1st!!! Never disappointed, food is GREAT, servers are awesome 👌 Last place we go, on our way back to Charleston, SC. It has become a tradition, that will continue as long as they are open!!! We have tried to hit a different one each time, we have been to them all; still nothing bad to say, we LOVE THEM ALL!!! 😍

Love this primanti's the bartender Michelle is an absolute gem, super friendly and quick!! Do happy the updated the menu, (when pigs fly) is now back on the menu woohoooo!!! The PB Reuben is mind-blowing with the horseradise mayo!! Also highly recommend the fried pickles but be cautious they came out HOT!

Updated review: waiter was friendly, food was still great! The menu could be a little more detailed but it's a short paper menu due to covid. Would return again. Left old review on the bottom. Also sandwich pic is only half... I was starving. 🤷‍♀🤣

I just want to give credit where credit is due. Christie was my server tonight and she was the most amazing woman. She was very friendly, caring and had a great personality! I will be recommending her to any one that goes to this location!
