EVEN Hotel Pittsburgh Downtown, an IHG Hotel

The lobby looks amazing. They have a valet service, we didn't use it so I'm not sure how good it is. The rooms seem very nice, they come with exercise equipment in them (Stretch bands and yoga equipment). The bathroom is very nice too. They have a walk in shower. Overall the hotel is very nice.

I was pleasantly surprised how friendly the staff is. Everyone was very helpful. The rooms are very spacious. I loved the fact that the room came with a yoga ball, block and mat. They also has a set up in the room to use elastic exercise bands. The gym was very clean and had a good variety of equipment. One hiccup was accidentally being double booked for valet parking. However, I was very impressed that when I called they credited me back very quickly ( I received the confirmation email before I hung up). Very simple walk to Market Square and a short drive to the Pittsburgh incline. I would definitely stay there again.

This was our second stay after a trip in August 2023 and again in December 2023 with my two sons. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great! The bar looks great. The staff is very friendly. Location is great for all sports venues. Kevin and Pat were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Overall great experience. Could be little more nice when you book on sites like Priceline. Wish Priceline allow adding IHG number for experience. Hotels don't care about you about status when book through Priceline which is not right I'm my opinion. Suggest parking in this zone.

This hotel is top notch. It's very modern and the service is impeccable. I would definitely recommend it if you're going to visit anybody in Pittsburgh. The central location puts it about 5 or 10 minutes away from anywhere in the area! There are a lot of exercise features that we weren't able to use, but if you're into daily exercise weightlifting StairMaster this place would be perfect for you. The only thing it's lacking is a pool.

So I booked this room for New Year’s Eve on Priceline. The rate was affordable. It was a little bit more expensive for city view which I bought, va standard I expected a little bit more, but it’s only six stories, tall and most of the buildings in the city are taller than that so it’s not really much of a view, I could’ve just got a regular room and save some money. The room was nice overall, the bed was so comfortable pillows were perfect it’s really quiet minus me with my music I was about to get ready to go out on the town. The front desk guy Doug, he was very pleasant super accommodating. He’s needs a raise. I would come back just for him. it was very busy at check in time as to be expected. There was a Steelers and precious game stuff in the city, first night, people coming in from out of town as well as people just getting rooms for New Year’s. It was busy. He was patient with everyone. it was long line of people waiting to check in. He was working by himself, He took one person time he never seen frustrated he answered everybody’s questions respectfully, professionally no question was too dumb, I called down to the front desk for a razor. They sent up a shaving kit less than 3 minutes. I called down again for an ironing board and iron and was advised they were in my room already. He didn’t make me feel stupid because I couldn’t find it was hiding in plain sight. when I went to leave the hotel to go to my New Year’s event, I did not know to it was raining outside I figured it was a longshot, but I did go ask the front desk. Did they have umbrellas at all for customers? Doug took a moment to look for umbrellas he said usually they have a couple for customers to use he could not find any, but the fact that he made the attempt I really appreciate it. Because it was New Year’s Eve I parked on the street after six pm which is free street parking in the same block so I saved on valet or parking garages and I checked out New Year’s Day and parking was still not being enforced because of the holiday so if you’re coming in late night and leaving early morning find the street spot at a meter which will be free after six and before 9am. The hotel is only the fifth and sixth floor of the building it’s attached to Burlington coat factory and a target which makes shopping Convenient. It is located, conveniently I would say in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh, you have access to subways you have access to tons of restaurants or fast food establishments a few short blocks away..

This experience with this hotel has been greatly appreciated I’m into fitness and to have a hotel show it’s dedication to fitness made our stay pleasantly welcomed the staff and atmosphere was good and friendly

The cleanliness was noticeable and organization was good the amenities that came with the hotel were probably my favorites which were the gym and the game room the rest of our stay was smooth I hope to see more of the even hotel around the globe it’s probably my top places to stay.

The location was perfect for exploring the city. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking garage was across the street and came with in/out privileges when booked as a package with the room and was affordable for downtown parking. We stayed as a family of 4 in a room with two queen beds. The room was very large. There is an odd pillar in one area restricting the addition of a bigger seating area or sofa bed, which would be amazing to add to these spacious rooms. The lights on the beds need to be turned on/off by a wall switch but then are controlled by the panel between the beds. Mini fridge had ample space and didn’t freeze our items. The hotel common areas have a lot of seating. The gym is fantastic. There were no windows to see outside - only windows to the hotel atrium/lobby that has a glass ceiling, so there was still natural light but zero views. Would absolutely stay again and will look for this hotel chain in other cities we travel to.

Our room was clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Although we did not take advantage of it, it was cool to have the workout equipment right in the room. Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Location was great. We were able to get to the subway quite easily and also walked quite a bit around the city. You cannot take stairs up to the fifth floor or back down to the ground level. I think that should be listed on the website regarding the hotel for those who are claustrophobic and won't take an elevator. We did not partake in the hotel breakfast. We did use the parking garage. It is expensive but we were happy to have the car so close.

We held a conference here and stayed for several days. The front desk was extremely kind, even walking me to my room when I had some trouble. The events director was wonderful, checking in on us on several times to ensure the best of service. The room itself was a bit funky and new. I admit it took awhile for the fitness equipment to stop seeming intimidating but after that, I was getting in workouts in the morning and evening. I genuinely left the hotel a healthier person. Would recommend again!!

I've stayed here twice, and the experience was pleasant. The check-in is a little odd since the lobby is on the fifth floor. The rooms are fitness oriented, but I didn't use the equipment, so I can't comment there. The staff are nice, if a little sparse. We found it to be a reasonably priced alternative to the North Shore hotels for Pirates and Steelers games. You just need to build in time for the walk to the stadium

It had been 10 years since I visited Pittsburgh and while not much had changed, there are much better hotels and restaurants. The Even, was fantastic! The front desk woman was incredibly friendly and accommodating and the restaurant had a perfect selection of food for a decent price. The location is exactly downtown and perfect for exploring the city.

Julia at the front desk was wonderful! So accommodating in allowing us in room before check in time..she was so helpful with directions, restaurant suggestions and giving us an overview of how to navigate the city! Hotel rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. Location was perfect if you are visiting for a concert or baseball game...very walkable distance from hotel to museums, food and attractions.

I loved loved loved this hotel. It was beautiful. It was super clean. The space decor was amazing. The little details made it even better. I would give 5 stars around the board. They want to make sure you get your exercise in. They have equipment in your room. Like i said it's the details.

Absolutely wonderful staff! They were more than helpful and exceptionally friendly. Very clean rooms and a lovely large lobby with a gym and game room available. I would stay here again when we come back to Pittsburgh! We stayed two nights with two small children and they brought us extra towels and bedding for the kids. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. We initially had an issue with our room but staff was very kind and accommodating and they rectified it immediately. The room was really big with huge windows and funky lights, that we found entertaining. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. The workout gear in the room was a nice bonus. We used their affiliated parking lot across the street and had no issues. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance!

Came back to give the hotel another chance and it was night and day. Came with friends who found a great deal here. From the moment we walked up, the front desk host Kevin greeted us like we were family. He was so great and asked what brought us here. He recommended places to see and a great tavern right up the street. I will definitely be back as long as you have staff like Kevin, or as he joked and said his name is Kevin, but now that we’re friends, I can call him Kev lol.

This place was gorgeous. We got 3 rooms for a group after a concert. They did their best to put us all in same area. Rooms super clean. Enjoyed the bar area after the concert.

This hotel is beautiful and meaningful. The rooms are spacious and have wellness/workout equipment. The bathrooms are beautiful and done so simply without overdoing it. Best of all, the beds are comfortable and inviting.

The staff here at the EVEN hotel goes above and beyond. They strive for excellence and sure do show it. They are always very positive and helpful, and the common areas, bathrooms, guest rooms, and even the hallways are always very clean.

Great location. Right downtown so you can walk everywhere. Hotel is modern and very clean. Staff were very professional and courteous. Parking was the only negative. It's across the street in a parkade. Hotel guests should get a discounted rate for parking.
