I learned so much about spirits and the local distilleries while visiting this store. The associate there was just a wealth of knowledge when it came to the products that they serve.

There’s tastings too. So if you’re not sure about a spirit you can usually taste it before purchasing.

I love taking a gander and some of the new products they get and I feel good knowing I’m getting something pa home grown.

There was only one person working in the store; but she's great. She was able to give tastings, answer people's questions, suggest great drinks, direct them to the correct bottles, and handle payment! I would gladly return when I am in need of a gift or something to drink!

Excellent service! I wanted something customised for the birthday of a friend who lives in Pittsburgh, and as I live in another country, needed some help from a local biz to make it happen. Found these guys online, wrote to them via Instagram, and, in the true spirit of the role, the page Admin replied swiftly and professionally with an email address for me to write too. I sent the email immediately, and considering the time difference was absolutely surprised to get a reply from Spencer Everett, the Warehouse Manager, as soon as their business day commenced. I should also point out I wrote to several other local brands in the city but didn't hear back. Spencer was an absolute professional; polished with his communication, proactive and went a little out of his way to fulfil the order i put in without accepting payment for the extra time and effort.

Phenomenal selection. Try the hot apple cider drink. It is like warm apple pie.. great bourbon selection. I actually was not going to buy anything and walked out with 2 bottles (picture of a strong recommendation)

My husband and I did a private whiskey and spirits tasting at PA Libations last night and it was amazing!! The private tasting takes place after store hours which ensures a really nice, intimate atmosphere. Our Bourbon stewart Zach was incredibly knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. We were encouraged to try as many liquors as we liked (and their selection is huge!), and most importantly he did not pressure us at all to buy anything after (which made us want to buy even more bottles haha). In our opinion this is definitely worth it if you want to surprise someone on their birthday, have a fun night out with friends, want to learn more about the background and distilling process, or are just looking for your new favorite drink (and trust me, you will find it!!). Great experience all around!

Stopped in a couple of weekends ago with my wife and kids and had a wiskey tasting,Dana was very knowledgeable about the whiskey and very pleasant and helpful.
I ended up purchasing a bottle of Half-town it was very good.
So you need to stop in and check out the place you won't be disappointed.

The store was fantastic. Anthony offered excellent customer service and wonderful recommendations. The tasting of different liquors was great and he helped me as well as my friend find some exceptional liquors to take home with us. When I’m in Pittsburgh again, I plan on returning for more suggestions.

Great customer service. The people there have a deep knowledge of their products. Local spirits can be hit or miss so it's nice they let you sample 4 of them.

Visited The Strip District and Libations for the first time. I’m a veteran and like to support Veteran businesses. Anthony V. was great at steering us to Eight Oaks distillery and explaining their distillery’s concept while we sampled their spirits. Thanks Anthony!

A really nice place to get Pennsylvania made liquors. It was open for samples when I was there. The staff is knowledgeable about the products. Love to see places embracing local crafts (booze). The prices are reasonable too considering much of the booze if from smaller distilleries.

My wife and I were in town from Rochester, NY visiting family and came to the strip district with her cousins. This store was one of the highlights of the trip. The staff was incredible, their knowledge of each sprit was amazing. When walking in the door there was a barrel display with different whiskeys. There was a peanut butter whiskey by Xplorer of Allentown that I wanted to try as I was intrigued, there was no bottle open so the staff found one opened it and commenced with a tasting. Liked it so much we bought 2 bottles, who knew. I would definitely recommend this as a "must stop" when in the area.

I visited the store Sunday afternoon, May 19, 2019 for the first time. I enjoyed the experience, bought three bottles. Becky Signorello sales representative treated us very nice. She was very informative about the Spirits we enjoyed her company. Highly, recommend stopping at the store when you're down shopping at the Strip District.

This place is a must if you are in the Strip! Fantastic selection of spirits and super knowledgeable staff. Today we got to do a tasting and it was super fun! The person pouring knew the background of every spirit and made great suggestions for cocktails.

A truly unique store in all of Pennsylvania. Each spirit in the store is distilled within Pennsylvania. You can easily find what you are looking for. The one side of the store has your typical state store layout where all of the gins are together, all of the rums are together, etc...the other side of the store has each spirit grouped by the individual distillery which I really enjoy. It makes for a fun time of learning about spirits you may otherwise may never have seen or given a second look at the state stores. Staff is friendly and allows you to sample the spirits (with proper identification of course). Next time you are in the Strip District, stop in and see the large selection. Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable!!

As usual Dana and Danielle were awesome. Their knowledge of their products was amazing and their patience in explaining things was great. This place is definitely a must stop when visiting the Strip District. Definitely a highlight each trip we make there!

Being a big fan of gin, this store had a huge assortment. Many, if not all, distilled in PA. Great staff. We bought four bottles of various spirits and the prices were very competitive. Can't wait to go back again.

Best liquor store in Pitt. They only have local liquors with a great selection of different liquors from various local distilleries.
The staff are very knowledgeable and will walk you through each bottle as they prepare a sample for you. Sample as much as you'd like to find the perfect bottle.
