Omni William Penn Hotel

We attended the Candlelight concert, a tribute to Adele. The room it was held in was perfect! The staff was kind, helpful and they smiled. The music was wonderful!! Great musicians. I even enjoyed the music better than in its original form. We will definitely come to another performance!! Ty

I can't say enough about our stay! My husband and I wanted a night away. He did his research to surprise me. It lived up to the hype! Our room was spacious and very clean. The Speakeasy was awesome. We had a great server and the drinks were delicious (& strong). For breakfast, we opted for the hotel restaurant, The Terrace Room. The breakfast buffet was out of this world. Seriously, the best. I loved the man making the omelets! We are actually in the process of planning our next stay... this time with the kiddos.

This place is amazing. It is just a beautiful place! The staff were so helpful and polite. I was politely greeted by the housekeeping staff each time I encountered them in the hallways. And speaking of housekeeping, my room was spotless! I will definitely be back to stay again when visiting the city.

This is the premiere hotel in Pittsburgh. This is where politicians and rock stars alike stay. Over a century old and having always been a hotel, you might catch a glimpse of a ghost wandering a hall. You can revel in the art deco glamour in some of the more sophisticated specialty rooms. You can also visit the speakeasy, which was rediscovered by accident. This hotel also houses one of the finest dining establishments in the city. Make yourself feel like a celebrity and stay for a weekend. Whether you stay for a sporting event or a wedding, this place will make you feel like an important mover and shaker. From check in to check out, this place is for you.

The Omni William Penn was absolutely amazing! It was decorated so beautifully for Christmas. Our family had a wonderful time. We have a family of four so we got a double room. The room was so spacious, great seating area, bathroom was great. The hotel amenities were wonderful and appropriate for what we needed. The room was very clean, the only thing that was missing was a coffee table in the sitting area. The hotel is in a great location, we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. We ordered Door Dash and had a picnic in the room after we came back from the show and watched a Christmas movie. We also appreciated the safety of the hotel. You needed a room key to access the elevators so random people off the street couldn't just come in. Even with several events going on, the hotel rooms were very quiet. The kids loved it, we loved it and we will definitely be back.

The lobby was beautiful, with an amazing smell (we couldn't put our finger on it). Very clean hotel. Our room was very spacious! The biggest hotel room we have every stayed in! The bathroom both looked and smelled clean. The king bed was very comfy. Booking was super easy, and they even accommodated my wife's request for my birthday surprise, a big piece of chocolate cake and some sparkling wine bottles; a very nice gesture. Everyone was very nice in Pittsburgh. The hotel has a valet option that is quite pricey ($45). A note to other guests you can just park across the street in an underground lot (that felt safe) for $8 a day.

The fact it's the Christmas season was even better as the hotel was decked out in decorations, including a massive tree in the lobby.

We will definitely book this hotel if we ever come back to Pittsburgh it was A++. Really good location!

Had a date night with the lady for one of the candlelight quartet concerts. It was a truly unique and amazing experience. They played Hans Zimmer best works and it was something to behold. Plus the Omni is such a historic, beautiful building in itself. Next time I want to stay here for the night!!!

We had a lovely overnight stay at the William Penn Hotel. It is historic, nicely maintained and beautifully decorated for Christmas. All staff were helpful and professional. We had a drink at The Tap Room. Nice, casual atmosphere. We also had an outstanding dinner across the street at Ritual House. Valet is $45 a night so we opted for underground garage parking across the street for $20. It was a lovely early holiday stay. We recommend. I only wish there had been a nightstand on both sides of the King size bed. Not comfortable without a place to put a glass of water and rest my phone and glasses.

We celebrated our daughter's wedding on January 20, 2024, in the Urban Room. The venue is amazing. Every facet of the planning, execution and post wedding was handled flawlessly through Corey Makrush and the Omni William Penn staff. They went above any beyond our very high expectations! Bellmen, catering, wait staff, security and all of the support staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The professionalism of all is to be complimented. The venue is meticulously maintained. Hotel rooms are clean, updated and comfortable. Flowers in the common rooms are fresh and beautifully arranged. The food was excellent. The location is central to many of Pittsburgh's best restaurants, theatres and sport venues. They are truly the best.

Had an amazing time. The location is great, the hotel is beautiful and full of history. The service was the best part. Everyone was so friendly. Candace and Kayla made our weekend getaway so special.

This is a beautiful Grand Hotel. Built during the industrial boom days before the depression. It exudes opulence and speaks to you of its history and the historic figures that have graced its rooms.
The service is just as spectacular as its appearance. This magnificent hotel certainly deserves its four star rating!

Just a great hotel. Front desk is prompt service, helpful. Rooms and facilities are clean, room has standard amenities: coffee maker, TV, fridge. Location is extremely walkable to local restaurants and downtown area.

We went to see The best of Hans Zimmer. Was a fabulous evening and the room the concert was held in was absolutely magical!

Stayed at the Omni William Penn hotel for a work function. The hotel is awesome and full of history!

Perfect Quick trip to Pittsburgh to visit family checkin/checkout was smooth & easy our room was upgraded on arrival.
Tap room was a great place to grab a bite and a beverage.

The Omni is one of my favorite venues to photograph weddings. It's elegent and timeless with a really fun old Hollywood vibe. It's right in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh too so there are plenty of great locations for photos within walking distance. I highly recommend the Omni!

A beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Pittsburg, the room was very nice and big, staff were very friendly and helpful. The Muriel behind the bar was inspiring.. enjoyed the experience immensely!

We love the William Penn. if you want to be surrounded by elegance, history, in the center of Pittsburgh it is outstanding. Easy self parking directly across the street in garage. Excellent food and the Speakeasy has the best drinks and little snacks! Just sitting in the lobby is a pleasure!
