Drury Plaza Hotel Pittsburgh Downtown

Stayed for a night while attending a show at PPG. Everything was so smooth and the staff was super friendly. Valet was prompt, free dinner and meals were a nice addition. Were the meals the best? No, but for free, I didn't expect it to be top-notch food. Central location to so much! Beautiful patio overlooking the city and the building has so much character. For staying the night of a concert and the hotel being full of concert goes, it really wasn't that noisy. Great place!

Beautiful old treasury/bank building. Great breakfast and dinner buffets included. The bar for late night eats was good. Pool and hut tub was excellent and quiet. Minutes walk from so many things like Heinz history center, strip district, stadiums/arena, theater.

We were in Pittsburgh for business and from the moment I walked in the main entrance I was greeted by the gentleman behind the counter and the valet! They were both very friendly but also professional, I asked so many questions and every one was answered to my satisfaction, I was told about parking and they even helped me with details I needed ! Our rooms were very clean and very comfortable! Breakfast was very good, very clean! I needed a later check out time which was given without question! The lady that was in the breakfast room greeted us as we walked in with a pleasant good morning, and made sure we were well taken care of cleaning our used plates up and making small talk with us! The morning valet had our car waiting for us before we even asked he was ready and waiting! All in all I will recommend to everyone to stay in your establishment! Beds were very comfortable! I could go on and on about how wonderful our stay was! Will definitely stay at your establishment any time we find one in our travels! Thank you so much! Orville and Lana HIGINBOTHAM!

This place is perfect. All around 5 out 5 stars. Location is smack in the middle of everything between the strip and downtown. It’s clean, staff is super friendly, service is top notch. They don’t only give you free breakfast but free dinner (food was pretty good too) and a couple of free cocktails too! Price is more than fair and very budget friendly, for everything that you get it’s super cheap! 100% would stay here again if we ever came back to Pittsburgh!

After having to leave a nearby hotel due to them having water issues, they let us check in early and went above and beyond. We were greeted by valet, were given vouchers for complimentary dinner, and drinks. The environment, staff, location, food and drinks were all great! Will definitely stay again!

We stayed at Drury Plaza in Pittsburgh last night and It couldn't have been a better stay! The staff was above and beyond excellent, our room was clean and spacious, and the food on the dinner and breakfast buffet was delicious! I have picky eaters in my family and everyone was happy with the food. We also had a few drinks at the bar during our stay. The bar staff was great. We had great conversations and the service was top notch. We don't frequent Pittsburgh but I would come back just to stay at this hotel!

We had an awesome time in Pittsburgh, and the Drury Plaza Hotel was the perfect place to stay. The staff couldn't be nicer and the room was perfect for a long weekend stay. The workout room and pool were great and easy to enjoy! Great location with lots to do, and all within walking distance. Music, bars and restaurants all minutes away! Loved it we will be back! ❤✌

Wow! Best hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time! Everyone was SO nice and helpful. We went during Christmas time, they had an elf on the shelf that moved each morning, my 5 year old LOVED that. Everything was clean and organized, the breakfast and dinner snacks were all delicious too! Will definitely be staying again for our Pittsburgh trips!

This is the best hotel to stay in when in the downtown area. I say this as someone who has stayed in almost all of them. The service is phenomenal, the rooms are extremely clean, the valet is fast and really friendly! I stayed here often for work over the course of a few months and was often upgraded upon arrival without asking and the front desk always remembered me and treated me with such kindness! The breakfast is great and the bar makes good drinks. Without question this is my first choice when i need to stay in Pittsburgh.

We have stayed here 2 days in a row. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel itself is unique and has a ton of character. It’s the perfect location. Would 100% stay here again.

This hotel was beautiful! It is walking distance from the Convention Center, so I didn’t have to worry about driving my car in St. Pattys traffic. The hotel staff was very friendly and helped with any questions I had! Will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff is wonderful! From the moment we arrived the valet guys were great. The front desk gave us a warm welcome. The breakfast was really good and the 2 free drinks coupons and FREE dinner buffet was unexpected and we were so pleasantly surprised. The bartender was great. Peaches in the dining area was terrific, she talked to everyone to see if we were enjoying the food and she made sure we had everything we needed. Jose at the desk was so friendly and gave us lots of ideas of things to do around town.Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. 10 out of 10 recommend!

My husband and I just stayed here the past Sun thru Tues (2/4-2/6) and we were beyond pleased with this hotel. We chose it because it's a 10-15 minute walk from the PPG Paints Arena, so there wasn't a need for a separate parking pass. Valet is a stand alone $37 a day fee, but it was incredibly easy for us to walk around downtown and not worry about finding parking anywhere else. We didn't use our car again until we left Tues. Luggage trolleys were ready and available, and Alden, the clerk that checked us both in and out, outstanding. Cheerful, helpful, accommodating. Let us know we had arrived just in time for the free dinner buffet going on as well. After driving close to four hours, to just be able to check into a clean room, fully prepped with towels, toilet paper, tissues, clean bedding, and come downstairs to a hot dinner, coffee, soda and small bar was amazing. While we ate, an employee walked over to clear our dishes and offered up all the to-dos in the area and grabbed a map for us to use. (Feel bad we didn't catch his name so the manager would be aware of his excellent hospitality) Breakfast was just as great. If you're a smoker, there's actually a patio room access key only on the 8th floor with ashtrays. The 8th floor also has a 3-5' swimming pool and whirlpool and guest laundry facilities. First floor has a small market pantry where you can purchase something in a pinch if you miss the restaurant and the actual restaurant is open until midnight. And, if you like history, you have to go downstairs and look at the old vaults and read the museum like plaques they have describing what all you're looking at. We both agree should we go to Pittsburgh again, this is 100% where we're staying. Absolutely no regrets choosing this location.

Had a lovely stay at the Drury for our visit to Pittsburgh. The rooms were great, the service was excellent, and the dinner and breakfast buffet were amazing. Fantastic location and easy to walk anywhere in the city. And the cast of characters we met well the picture speaks for itself. We will be back.

Clean room, comfortable beds, super friendly staff and valet service and the complimentary breakfast bar was the icing on the cake! Was not expecting such a nice spread. 5 minute walk to the subway which was very convenient to get to the football game. Highly recommend staying here!

Our family has stayed in numerous hotels, and our experience at the Drury Plaza Hotel was truly exceptional. We are concerned that it may be difficult to find a hotel that can match the level of service and hospitality we experienced during our stay.

Very nice hotel with hot breakfast buffet, free of charge. Easy accessibility to the University of Pittsburgh. Highly recommended. staff is very helpful and gregarious. Highly recommended.

Excellent service! AFTER PRICELINE SCREW US OVER by not paying the hotel and not letting us know! They did all they could to accommodate us and get us a room also granted Priceline price for that night!!! That was the second time and last time Priceline screwed us over!!! STAY AWAY FROM PRICELINE!! thank you Drury for your help and services.

Darnell is a treasure and incredibly friendly while helping with the breakfast service! Parking rates are quite high ($37/night plus tip is a gouge) considering there aren't many options downtown. Tip for visitors: the concierge doesn't confirm with valet which guests and cars are parked, so this cost is easily avoided by saying you parked elsewhere. When you check-in. Rooms were clean enough but there were a few things we noticed didn't get daily attention by cleaning staff. Good stay overall, we will most likely return!

Elevators are super fast, rooms are very nice, clean and large. The hospitality at breakfast and dinner is outstanding. Walking distance from PPG Arena. Valet was super efficient.
