Binnie's Skate Sharpening and Equipment repair

All I can say is WOW! I have had all my skates profiled over the years. Binny's profile made my blades feel like they are supposed to feel for me. Jason nailed what I needed with a 10 min conversation. As I play both F and D, I have always had an issue with too much lean in either direction. These came perfectly balanced for my style. I will be sending anyone that asks me who I know that profiles to Jason.

The other positive is the turnaround in which I got them done. It was less than a week. I am in Florida, so that was impressive to get them back so quickly.

Sent in a pair of skates to have the holders replaced (TUUK to Marsblade) through the mail service. They turned the skates around in 1 day. The workmanship is top notch, and the responses to my emails were timely and complete without being wordy. I will definitely be using Binnie’s again in the future.

This place is fantastic. I live in Brooklyn, NY but couldn’t find any place to replace my 20+ year old Graf blades. Binnie’s overnighted them before season start. This summer I had the pleasure of sending in my old skates and get them fixed up. They look and feel fantastic. I’m hoping to get another 10 seasons out of them.

Binnie did a great job with popping out a section in my skates that were causing my feet a lot of pain after skating. That is now fixed, as well as a fresh contour to my playing style, and I feel much more balanced on my feet. They are incredibly knowledgable, helpful, and I highly recommend letting them take care of your hockey needs.

I seriously cannot say enough positive things about Jason and his work. After many less than desirable sharpening’s from pro shops and other hockey stores I am so happy to have found Jason! It was so easy too, just drop off and pick up the next day. We had my sons blades profiled and sharpened and WOW. I have never seen him skate better. He’s faster, turning sharper, accelerating quicker and stopping more quickly. I won’t trust anyone else with my sons skates from here on out. HIGHLY recommended!

Binnie saved my skate. Holder cracked and I couldn't locate a new one anywhere online. He found one very quickly and replaced it before I missed any games. Skate sharpening is the best around. You can drop skates off in a lock box and pick them up so it's super convenient. Highly, highly recommended!

I play on the Wilkes Men's Ice hockey team and 13 of our players needed to get our skates sharpened while in Pittsburgh. Jason was very accommodating, answered my email fast, and ended up meeting us at the rink to collect our skates and bring them back to our shop.
