Very cool. I'd like to hang out for an hour but unfortunately I only had a few minutes to check the place out and grab a few albums. They had me taken care of very quickly. Knowledgeable. I'll definitely go back.

Awesome known Pittsburgh record store, so much vinyl it's insane. Great and deep selections of genres, easy to spend a couple hours here and find some gems. Must stop for music lovers!

I visited the Attic for the first time yesterday. As a new vinyl lover looking for pop records, I was nervous about going in person since I have so much to learn and friends of mine have been judged in other stores. I was SO pleasantly surprised by just how kind and helpful everyone in the store was, from staff to other shoppers. I was too scared to ask someone where the Taylor Swift vinyls were, but as I was exploring I heard a mom and daughter be lead back to the Taylor Swift section by a staff member who said that they've seen a large demand for her work, and he was happy to see more people interested in vinyl records. Shoppers were considerate and allowed others to pass by them in the narrow spaces, offered to grab records for others, and a few said hello to me and complimented my jacket. Someone brought a collection in to get a quote for selling, and the staff member helping her was very honest and upfront about the offer and even told her that he thought she could maybe get more selling them one at a time online if she wanted to go that route instead of selling them in bulk. These guys are kind, honest, reasonable, and clearly love music. I will certainly be back and will refer anyone I know to the Attic!

This fantastic collection of vinyl and more is quite simply amazing.

A vast and varied collection of musical tastes. Deep cuts and albums you've never seen before are throughout this maze of leaning shelves.

Found some Queen and Bowie albums that were gems. It's like a gold mine of records.

Great selection and prices. Probably the most fair in terms of average album price. If you’re looking for record shopping in Pittsburgh, make this place an essential stop. Found some absolute gems! Very dangerous place for my wallet.

If you want some new music (for me specifically vinyl) but they have it all, this is the place in the burgh! The selection is amazing and the staffs awesome. Cool guys to chat with.

If they don’t have it, it probably doesn’t exist, well maybe not exactly but I’d bet they’d accept that challenge.

Not only is it the best record shop in Pittsburgh, it’s one of the best I have ever been to. To be quite honest, the sheer amount of vinyl in this shop is a little overwhelming! I found a few vinyls that I have been hunting down for some time, and for a great price! If you’re a fan of records, make sure to take the time to visit the Attic. You won’t regret it!

Such a vast and comprehensive selection. We are here regularly and never leave empty handed! Multiple times we’ve found and purchased a record by a well loved artist only to return and find their entire discography on the shelf.

One of the best record stores in Pittsburgh! Great spot to buy various mediums whether tapes, vinyl, or cds. Max is always super helpful and rad! The entire staff is very accommodating. The selections are fantastic and if you can't find something, they will do their best to order it for you!

Huge selection of records. Variety of a lot of different genres and bands. They have old stuff and new stuff, something for everyone. The workers are super friendly. I was looking for a George Thorogood album, and they helped me locate it on the top shelf and got it down for me.

Solid selection - sweet inhouse tshirts and sweats too.

Edit: After going to Attic for the past few months, this is my favorite place on earth. The people that work there: Fred, Danny (Jay), Tony, Max, and the rest of you guys are the best! Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right!

It is truly a legendary record shop for the city ,no question. Such a vast genre selection, something for everyone.

Best selection of any record store I've ever been to. Sooo many records I'd doubt anyone would not be able to find what they want. Staff super friendly and helpful too. And everything is really affordable. Highly recommend.

The owner didn't lowball me when I went to sell him my old LP's, which I appreciated. They got everything, Metallica on Vinyl! Pretty cool place.

Best CD and Record selection in the city if not the state. All the employees are easy to talk to and happy to order in or find what they can. Very reasonable prices for VG+ to Mint records. Great metal and rock section but also every other genre. So much and so well organized. We recommend the attic everywhere we go.

Never seen so many records in one place! Staff was nice, had a HUGE variety of music...I seen CDs, 45s as well...I'm sure there was more than that...you can get lost in there lol definitely recommend!
