My husband and I have both gotten suits from Danielle. She is the BEST!!! My husband got his wedding suit here. The fact we could make little touches to memorialize the day was so fun. I travel for work and decided to get a nice suit last year. Being a curvier woman, it isn’t easy to find things that fit me at a suit store, but I love that I get custom fit clothes at Surmesur. Danielle made it so easy for me. Everyone in the store is so nice and welcoming. And a shout out to Cheech for perfect alterations!! Can’t wait to get another one.

I discovered Surmesur at the Pittsburgh Wedding Expo, and the variety of fabrics and patterns immediately caught my eye. I was able to schedule an appointment on their website which was very convenient.

Zach helped me narrow down the cut, embroidery, and other small details for customization. I'd say the hardest part was just picking from the many fabrics they had. It was a bit difficult to visualize my selection as a full suit from a small swatch, but in the end, it all came together.

In addition to customizing the suit, Minh expertly obtained all of the measurements for a fully bespoke fit. They truly pay attention to all the details (down to measuring the angle of your shoulders)! After the suit was done being made, I did a fit test, and Minh helped make some final modifications for tailoring.

Needless to say, the final product was amazing. I felt like a million bucks at my wedding and was incredibly satisfied with my decision to go with Surmesur.

From timeless to trendy, this gem of a store offers custom clothing for unbelievably reasonable prices. Their knowledgeable staff made my experience truly memorable and special. I liked it so much, I’m a repeat client. I tell all my friends who are getting married to get their suits here. Comparable to renting and you get to keep your suit that you designed to wear again. Ditch the boring suit you see a million of, design something you’ll actually like and want to wear, and is tailored for you. You won’t regret it.

My husband got his suit custom made for our wedding and it could have not turned out more perfectly. Zach was incredible every step of the way and made my husband feel so special. You can tell he absolutely loves what he does and he gave some amazing advice when my husband was picking what he wanted in his suit. My husband even got custom lining with pictures of our dog and cat on his jacket. Zach and the team in Pittsburgh made sure he loved the way he looked before we left. I cannot thank them enough!

I wanted to get a few new suits for work events. I found a ton of great reviews online and decided to make an appointment with Minh. I had an awesome experience from the moment I walked in the door. I was greeted pleasantly and then met with Minh. He had some great ideas already lined up, but wanted to get my thoughts and learn about what I wanted. Minh has a great way about him - knowing when to chime in when I got stuck on choosing a pattern, while at the same time letting me be creative. He was fantastic to work with through throughout the process. His recommendations and enthusiasm show that he has a genuine passion for what he does. This isn't just a job, but something he truly cares about.

In addition to the experience, I'm delighted with my suits. The fabric is great. The fit was almost perfect, requiring only minor alterations once I put them on. It's very convenient to stop in and make decisions. If there's one downside, it's that I can see how designing custom suits and sport coats could become addicting!

I have never had a better fitting shirts or pants. 10/10 recommend to anyone who asks where to get dress attire. Danielle sold me something the first day, and that was mainly because of the customer service, she has been the go to for me and friends since. Looking forward to replacing my whole wardrobe soon enough!

I worked with Minh to design my wedding tux. He was a fantastic partner in the process and would recommend to anybody. The number of choices to make would have been overwhelming, but Minh has a great knack for providing just the right number of tips and his personal design feedback to guide you along. He also showed a lot of care in assessing the fit & making adjustments when the suit arrived. Looking forward to working with him again on future suits!

This is a top notch establishment. The overall customer experience, wide range of customization options and knowledge off the staff make this the best place to buy a custom suit in Pittsburgh. I bought my two wedding suits here from Zach, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service and result. Zach helped me pick out every detail of my suits, worked patiently with me, and provided input into each element of the suits when asked. The quality of the finished products is worth at least twice what I paid. I'm never going to buy a suit of the rack again after working with Zach.

I cannot say enough incredible things about Surmesur, Danielle and the team. I purchased a 3 piece suit from them for our wedding in August 2022. When I received it a few months before the wedding, I decided to make a tuxedo purchase as well. The quality of the suit, the material, and the craftsmanship that went into the custom piece was unmatched.

The experience in the store during my appointment was top notch, got a glass of whiskey to wait, had the experts explain all about different styles and trends, and ultimately had a great time choosing my options. I got so many compliments the day of the wedding- the color, the fit, the style. All thanks to the expert advice of Danielle and the incredible work of those working on the suit.

Side note: I also got a pair of custom jeans here- as a very short guy, having a custom pair of jeans has been life changing. I’ll certainly be returning to Surmesur for all of my suit and pants needs!
