Cala Lily Restaurant and Bar

This was one the most delicious meals I've had in the last decade. I can't tell you, you have to experience it for yourself. Mrs. Julie was spot on with service, and the food blew me away. Don't think, just go!

We hadn't been to Cala Lily since pre-pandemic. We recalled it being a good meal and a pleasant experience so we decided to go back for our anniversary. Wow! It was just outstanding. Service was great. Tables were close but didn't seem intrusively so. There listed nearly 20 interesting martinis at $10 each. But the food-omg. We started with meatballs and mushrooms which were tastier than any appetizer I recall having in the past. Dinner salads were just right and there aren't enough superlatives to describe the entrees. First of all, they looked great on the plates. We had salmon from the menu which was yummy and an off-the-menu special Chilean sea bass. The sea bass was made with a macadamia nut entrusting and covered in a cherry glaze which included actual cherries. OK, the sea bass was expensive at $58 but it was out of this world. I order sea bass whenever it's available so I've had it often but this treatment was unlike anything I've ever had. I had intended to get some kind of steak but, when I heard the server describe the sea bass, I had to try it.
We cannot wait to go back to see their next batch of specials.

It was my first visit to Cala Lily and a very pleasant surprise. The food was amazing. I ate at the bar, and the bar tenders were amazing. I had one of the best Old Fashioned I have ever had, and the scallops were perfectly cooked.

Love the unique entrees, Rick and his staff are exceptional ~ have gone several times, a 5 star but for the crowded seating.

Outstanding meals and service. A bit noisy, but what else could you expect from a full house?

Cala Lily is a small restaurant in a very small strip mall, but don't let that fool you. We've dined there twice and the food and service were absolutely top-notch both times.

One of the best restaurant experiences I've had around Pittsburgh. I really couldn't complain about much me anything here! Hope to see you guys again soon!

Outstanding food and service. We just love going here for dinner or just drinks. The bar drink menu is extensive and always made to perfection. They have a 2 options for dinner menus one choice is the early dinner 4:30 to 6:00 same great food as the main menu just smaller portions and limited choices. If you want to fully experience their menu I suggest choosing from the main menu which you can do anytime from 4:30 until closing. We try to visit here at least 4 times a year if not more.

Wow! First time. Heard great things. It was delicious! Had the lobster ravioli and my wife had the crab cakes. Finished off with their bread pudding. We will definitely be back.

I had THE best Chilean sea bass of my lifetime last week. Done perfectly and will never have one that good again. Service is always great. We usually sit at the bar and it's a great environment. Call ahead for reservations even if sitting at the bar.

One of the highest quality, homiest, friendly restaurant and bar you've ever visited. From the owner to the hostess, to the bartenders and back of house, the entire staff cares about your experience and makes sure you have the most pleasant experience possible. Food is always extraordinary and the specials change constantly. Not bad on the wallet either 👌

We recently had dinner for my wife’s birthday. We have been before. Busy Friday evening. Service was great and dinner was delicious. Love the stuffed peppers, wedge salad, and steak. My wife had the tilapia, her favorite. Will be back again.

Awesome food coupled with great and friendly service. I love the atmosphere.

I am challenged to find a better filet mignon. Always cooked to the perfect temperature and plenty of options. Cannot go wrong - highly recommend

We stopped in for our first visit tonight with our 5 year old daughter. We were promptly seated and greeted by our waitress. Let me just say that Ashley was quite possibly the best waitress I have ever had! She was extremely polite, carefully attentive and just the sweetest ever! They were all extremely accepting of my daughter and went above and beyond to make her feel welcome and enjoy her dinner as well! I can not say enough good things about this restaurant... the staff, amazing food, great selection for food AND drinks.... we will definitely be back!!!

Cala Lilly was one of the best dining experiences that we have ever had. From the outstanding and caring staff to the delightful creative dinner dishes and cocktails. Every part of our visit was spectacular. We are from out of town and were more than pleasantly surprised when visiting Cala Lilly. We would highly recommend Cala Lilly to anyone who is looking to have a fantastic dining experience with many gourmet meal choices. Chef Rick will go out of his way to make every dish memorable and delicious. The entire staff work together seamlessly. It is a wonderfully choreographed experience.

We dine at that temple of culinary art several times and I have to share my experiences.
From the entrance in the restaurant until we walk out with a smile on our faces everting is perfection. Food, servers, bartender and especially chef - they all got from us 5 stars. And I don’t give stars easily trust me. The best place to dine in that part of Pittsbugh!!!!

Great place. You can truly get a great fine dining meal here. Also, the bartenders are well qualified, so you will get a great libation too. Don't forget your wallet, but worth it for the quality.

Cala Lily is our favorite place. I want my last meal to be their Cajun Shrimp and Filet Mignon Tops over linguine. I would give the chef naming rights to my first-born in exchange for the recipe. Absolutely amazing!

Best food and atmosphere I have ever experienced!

Just had an amazing meal made by an artist more than just an everyday chef.
Joyce the attendant been wonderful and knew first hand how to give me the welcoming and hospitality feeling to make my evening wonderful.
I'll surely go back there for more of those artistic dishes and, Joyce, you surely brought the Joy to my visit.
