This was my first time trying Almond nails & I absolutely love the final result! John gave me exactly what I asked for. I came in on a wednesday expecting to have to wait for a spot, but as soon as I came in the door I was greeted and taken care of. Everyone who works in the shop is also supper friendly and attentive.

Just got my nails done by Messiah and I left so impressed with her quality of work and incredible kindness! She made sure I was comfortable and worked with me to reach the perfect set :) I can’t wait to go back!

I just got my nails done today and I love them. Everyone was so kind and respectful. Will definitely be coming back. (I didn’t know tips were in cash. I’ll bring the tip for this one and next time I come.) thankyou so much

I LOVE Kenny's!!! Cammy is the best and her family is amazing! My nails last me WEEKS!!! Got them done around Thanksgiving and none have popped off or broken off since. Gel is done so well that I don't get my hair snagged around my nails when they grow out. This is the only salon I have been going to for the past year because I know I will get a consistent experience. Highly recommend.

This place is so welcoming and friendly! I am not super "girly" but on a whim decided to get my nails done here. I live and work nearby. It had been years since I had any sort of nails on but Cammy did them perfect! I feel like some nail salons can "shame" you when you just want short , basic nails, but not Cammy! She knew exactly what I wanted without me explaining it well. I can also forget when I have my nails done and do things that end up messing them up. I told Cammy when I broke my pinky nails taking out the garbage over a week later and she got me right in to fix it. The prices seem better than others nearby, but the service would have me pay more! I seriously love these nails ( Dream Gel Set) and I am going to try to upkeep them as long as I can and keep coming back. I think Cammy has officially turned me into a nail girlie haha.
I also received a deluxe pedicure and loved it. My feet have never felt softer. Which is good because this is the time of year I only wear flip flops haha.

The BEST customer service and nails in downtown Pittsburgh! I am a regular at Kenny’s and they ALWAYS do an amazing job. They treat you like family and will never let you leave disappointed with your nails! They do amazing pedicures and acrylics! Super reasonable prices for the location as well🤍. Added some of my fav nails they’ve done for me as a reference!

Best place to get your nails done. I always got what I wanted. Cammy is the best manager, great customer service. if there is something you are not satisfied with, please talk to the manager before making a big fuss about their business. let them know and they will make it right 😃

By far the best nail salon in Pittsburgh. Convenient location. Good value and quality work. Lynn was fantastic. Kim and Tony too. Will recommend and definitely come back.

Messiah was awesome went above and beyond, great customer service. Hands are like an angel, I left out feeling like I have brand new feet. On top of that Cammi fed me. I goes no other place but Kenny's.

UPDATE: a manager promptly reached out to me and was incredibly nice and willing to make everything right. It was a mistake that I greatly appreciate her wanting to fix as soon as possible.

ALWAYS get a receipt from this place. I went in for a gel polish change and the technician asked me if it was my first time there. I told her that it wasn't but I hadn't been there in a while. When she checked me out, she charged me extra than the posted price on their wall. When I asked why, she just said that they would charge me less next time. When I checked my bank account later on, it turns out she charged me double the price she told me it was.

Had my 1st visit yesterday.
It says to call in advance for appointments. But I happen to come when it was a lil slow so for a "walk in" the wait time wasn't too bad. John and the woman walking the floor was very nice they gave good pointers on nail color when I went in to get a French

Okay so even though I was 10 mins late to my appointment, they still accepted me with no issues, the nail tech was super attentive and super friendly!! My nails look clean and even, they’re the perfect length for me, best nail center I’ve been too as a male. They didn’t make me feel weird and I was comfortable the whole time. I’m not a regular but will be coming back for sure!!

My favorite nail salon. The staff and the atmosphere here is so welcoming. Jon is so talented and knowledgeable. Since coming to see him my nails have looked and felt amazing. Everyone is so nice, all around great place. They get you in pretty quick. Absolutely love them

UPDATE: I called the salon and requested my nails to be fixed. Cammie took my appointment and said she would fix it herself! Cammie was great she did her best to squeeze me in (I had an appointment but missed my bus and arrived late). She did a fabulous job and definitely re-instilled my faith in the salon! She definitely made this my home salon and I recommend booking with Cammie ahead of time! She is pleasant and respectful, and very experienced. Kenny’s should be grateful to have her as an employee! 10/10!

I was a walk in and they took me right away and I appreciate it. I walk in no one said hello. During the waiting period I noticed that they charge an additional $5 to remove polish that they didn’t do. I find this peculiar because you have to sand the nails anyways in order to get a full so why would it matter where I got my nails done before. (Sounds scammy). Finally a gentleman looked up and asked if I needed assistance. I requested a fill and had two nails on each hand reshaped, nude dip and a French Tip on two nails on each hand. I noticed that the font clean the insides of the UV dryers that harden the gel. So I have little speckled in some of my nails. But today (not even 24hrs later) I noticed the paint is already chipping. They don’t have you wash your hands after the filing which makes the cuticle oil use unsanitary. But it’s overall a clean atmosphere and they do efficient work for a quick walk-in. Im not sure it was worth a $50 fill.

my roommate and i came in as a walk-in to get an acrylic full set and they took us right away. i did have to wait a little bit, but i know that it wasn’t their fault. overall im very happy with my nails and i would recommend going here!

Cammy was wonderful - not only did she help me pick out colors for my nails, but did such a great job on the manicure itself! Not to mention she’s incredibly sweet and easy to talk to. The salon was tidy and had a great selection of colors and services. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

just moved to pittsburgh 1 week ago and had my first visit here! i went to Cammy, who specializes in shellac manicures. she was VERY sweet and paid a lot of attention to detail on how exactly i wanted my manicure. i made an appointment before coming in. everyone wore their mask and i felt very safe. the salon was clean! ***THE SALON IS ON FORBES STREET* - the directions were confusing but it’s not actually on 5th ave. i will be making this my
regular manicure spot! loved the experience!

Always friendly and so fun to conversate with. Very professional all the time. Very clean. I won’t go anywhere else for my services, as they’re consistent and they always do a fantastic job. While they may not be the cheapest salon, I’m a firm believer of getting what you pay for and if you want cheap, maybe choose another salon. They don’t cut corners, they sanitize after every guest, and they’re accommodating in most circumstances.
Making an appointment is always smart, although they do accept walk ins. Every single one of the staff members are great.
