I have to say a huge thank you to Dr. Baumwell at Sewickley Eye Group in Pittsburgh, Pa. for saving my eyesight! After multiple surgeries in West Virginia with Regional Eye Associates, I was left with no vision in my left eye. I surgery was scheduled in WV ; a complicated one; for the left eye, and I was scheduled for surgery on my right eye one month following. The surgery was ceremoniously canceled on me after I mentioned I knew a personal injury attorney. ( I had been with him for 20 years previously, so of course I know him!) I was then refused as a patient after they had already done 3 surgeries on the left eye! (Discrimination). Dr. Baumwell was very straightforward, had a wonderful bedside manner, and saved my sight! Something I find necessary and useful as an RNC PHD. and a jewelry designer as well! He is my hero! When I asked about the right eye that had been scheduled for surgery in WV....I was told there was nothing wrong with my right eye! Makes you go hmmmm.🤔🤔🤔🤔😡

Was performed professionately and comprehensively. Did have to wait a bit longer then usual to see my doctor but all in all it went well. Anticipating my upcoming cataract surgery!

I am always treated well here, they are all professional and courteous. They were wonderful with my mom when she went there and they are good to me. Dr. Bowers is very thorough and Dr. Baumwell treated my mom and he has such a wonderful caring bedside manner, as well as Dr. Bowers.

Dr. Bowers is a true professional, who knows his craft. I trust him with my eyesight. Performed cataract procedure on my right eye seamlessly. I highly recommend Dr. Bowers for any of your vision and eye care needs.

The staff is very friendly, pleasant and helpful.
Each person has a job. It runs so smoothly.
If they’re running late, they let you know.
These days “everyone “ is understaffed, I feel for the physicians and staff, it’s not their fault.

When you see a specialist (eye physicians), you don’t expect to be in and out. After all, the
time you’re there is for “your” eyes.
They’re a wonderful office!

So fortunate to have Dr. Bowers as my eye doctor. He is such a caring,kind and gentle doctor. I have to say that was the most thorough exam I have ever had. From the moment I walked into the office I knew I was in the right place. The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in and it was just a short wait after that. The woman that helped me pick out my glasses was very thorough in her explanation about the types of lenses. Look no further than the Sewickley eye group.

Great people, great service, great convenience. Everyone here was perfect.. Loving Dr Varga.. first eye exam in decades.. heard peoples stories about air blowing in eyes and hating some tests but walked in and this place was absolutelly stellar.. no discomfort no worries.. I went to office beside Beaver Valley Mall.. Wonderful ladies that worked there.. Then I had to go to sewickley office for more computer testing.. Awesome job at that office also.. Go here for all your eye stuff!!! Stellar... absolutely wonderful experience

Everyone is very friendly, except the first lady that initially takes you back. No personality whatsoever. Dr Labriola is excellent. Short wait times. Overall very good practice.

Dr. Baumwell and staff were wonderful making me feel comfortable and well cared for. The Sewickley office is easy to locate and has lots of free parking.

The safety procedures and the check in was easy and Julianne was so friendly and efficient. Dr. Varga, my Optometrist was wonderful and answered all my concerns. Bea, my optician, was patients and helpful. All the staff is friendly and I always find the perfect pair of glasses.

Great service, kind and friendly staff, fast service. Everyone is nice from the office staff, to the doctors, and everyone in between. Very informative even with the choosing and fitting of my glasses.

Sherry is the icing on their cake! After you see the lovely doctors. Sherry makes you feel good about having to wear your glasses. It’s a very professional but relax environment. They don’t discriminate nor make you feel like an outsider. Sherry learns your name, making it feels family like in the environment. Even through the hard times, they made us feel safe! If you want somewhere to go to get a good pair of glasses and comfortable exam. This is the place!

Everyone I came in contact with was very friendly and everything was explained so that I could understand easily what was being done and what my problem is. Would highly recommend Sewickley Eye Group. As a new patient I really appreciated being squeezed in for an appointment.

Everyone was so helpful from the time I walked in without a mask and they were able to give me one. I had no idea what to expect and was just a tad nervous. The ladies who did my exam were so kind and explained every step along the way.

I have been going to Sewickley eye group for several years and am very pleased. Everyone is very professional and kind. They explain every procedure to me and I feel comfortable.If I have a problem it is quickly solved. I see Dt Bowers and feel very confident in his abilitys.

Ray the optician did an excellent job helping me select a frame and carefully measuring of the optics on my lenses i.e.PD & Seg height etc.

My right eye swelled shut. I called and they got me in. It was determined I had a blocked gland. They prescribed an antibiotic for the next 5 days. My eye became worse so I called again and they got me in that morning. The Dr prescribed a stronger antibiotic, eyedrop antibiotic and warm compresses. I am finally seeing an improvement and feel a whole lot better. I have another appointment on Wednesday with my regular eye doctor. They were able to see me and that was important.
