Food was fantastic, also had the house wine. The staff is so friendly and very acomidating.

Update: Haven't been able to get a hold of the shop on a couple of occasions. Hope you guys are doing alright. It would be a shame to lose another childhood favorite.

Have been going here for nearly 30 years. Remember getting slices as a kid. Great Pizza. I live far away from here but still manage to get takeout once a week or so.

I've only been here since Covid and they've only been serving take out. I can't wait till they open up for full dining but everything that I've gotten so far has been wonderful. I've mostly gotten carry out pizza and their pizza is amazing. All the different pizzas that I've gotten have been better than the next their crust has a wonderful flavor and so does their sauce. I can't wait to try some of their pasta

I stopped in on a cold day and was greeted with warmth, even tho I look like a crazy person with my pink snow suit and three layers of clothing.

From the first time I stepped foot in this restaurant in the early 80's, it has been the best pizza in West View!
Their cheese, their sauce and their dough are hands down the best.
Pete is always welcoming and his vineyard wines are a great addition to any of the meals.

My husband and I went for the first time last night as we're new to the area. We were met at the door by warm, smiling faces and felt so welcomed our entire visit. Food was incredible (I'm currently eating my leftovers for lunch and it's just as good the second time around!). We will definitely be going back soon.

This is probably one of the best Italian-American restaurants in the area. I've ordered takeout twice here during the COVID-19 pandemic and the food has been delicious both times. The service is very quick. I highly recommend you order from this place once or at least try it out.

Good authentic Italian restaurant. Great selection of food on the menu. Reasonable prices with a fair portion. The staff was pleasant and were attentive. I would recommend this restaurant to family/friend. I plan on going to eat here again soon.

Love this place. We live in Washington, DC now but always come here with our family when visiting for holidays. We are always amazed how we have to travel to a small, family owned restaurant in the North Hills of Pittsburgh for great Italian food. Fried zucchini to start, calzones and pizza for main. Would recommend for anyone traveling to Pittsburgh.

Been dining here since I was a child. Food and service are excellent. Over the last 2 years, the menu has been expanded. My only complaint is that the expanded menu needs expanding. Smelt, squid tubes with tentacles offered in olive oil, butter, garlic, etc., branzino, tripe, roasted peppers with anchovy salad, and a seven fishes holiday menu would have me dining here daily.

The best fettuccine alfredo I have ever had! The sauce is amazing! Quaint dining. Great atmosphere with traditional Italian music and artwork. Owner was even on site to greet the guests.

Stick with me here: My mom is 81 and has dementia. For years, I’ve regretted never learning her recipes for her nutroll-which was the best I’ve ever eaten-and her MEATBALLS-also the best I’ve ever had. To the point that I NEVER order meatballs ANYWHERE. Why be disappointed?

My significant other doesn’t have this issue and orders them everywhere to try to get me to try them. He did this at DiPietro’s. I am SO FREAKING GLAD he did! Their meatballs are exactly like my mom’s! They are flavorful, correctly seasoned, and moist! I dare say, the best in the city. If I ever meet Mr. DiPietro, or whoever has made this trip back to my childhood possible, they’re getting a hug and my sincere thanks.This made my whole year!

Everything else we have had here-chicken piccata, chicken romano, pizza, hoagies, etc has been equally as wonderful. (My SO hates capers, except in the piccata from DiPietro’s.) This place ROCKS!

Are they a little more than many places in the area? YEP. Is the food much better than many places in the area? HECK, YEAH! I’d pay a little more any day for this quality. If they keep producing this quality of dish, I will keep ordering food for my family from DiPietro’s. The quality is well worth the price.

The pizza here is some of the best I've ever eaten. The restaurant can feel a little cramped when busy, but it's never stopped me from wanting to eat there. My family has been going here for years, and the staff is great.

Well first, the food was great. I met some long lost relatives there and the waitress was so gracious to let us just talk for hours, still paying attention to our needs. We found the restaurant clean and the food reasonable.

This place has a local home town feel. The waitress wants to help with your order if you want, or any other requests. The food is tasty, served hot and fresh. Good choices on the menu, great Italian food.

My girlfriend and her parents love this place, so I decided to give it a try. The staff is super friendly and their food instantly made my nipples pop through my t-shirt. When we introduced our friend Amanda D to their sicilian, she commented on how plump and fluffy it was then proceeded to hoover 8 whole slices herself.

What a great surprise! The food was excellent as well as the service! A family friendly casual place with great food. Lynne suggested the original chicken ramono that was one of the best I have had anywhere. Definitely a find. But if you are looking for atmosphere--it may not be there.

Got an Italian sub on toasted bread. Very delicious. It was around $9 for a foot long. Only problem is I thought that would be enough to feed two people but I could've finished that myself. That was my fault though. Will definitely be heading back.
