Body Zone Sports and Wellness Complex

This place was great; we attended a lacrosse tournament today and there were basketball lessons going on, ice skating lessons, ice skating leagues, people walking on a second floor track….lots of parking, crowded due to the nature of the tournament but relatively easy to find, good lighting and. I LOVED that there were clear Barriers to see the lacrosse players on the indoor courts, from a spectator perspective that was a win- plenty of things for me to walk around with my younger son to see while my daughter played or prepared with their team -with the younger one we visited many of the restrooms- it was a busy day but for the most part they were ok- it was fun to watch skating lessons and ice hockey as well.

The place is so good. The parking lot is spacious. Once you get in from the main door, you will encounter all these banners and mounting screens that announce the current or coming events. Also, there are nice high tables in the hallway. The place is very welcoming and warm. One of the rinks has multiple entrances which is very convenient when the spectators leave the game and head out.

It is a really nice place with a variety of sports and workout options. We go there to see my nephew play ice hockey. Definitely dress warm.

This was our first time ever ice-skating. Such a good environment and welcoming staff. So glad we came here. It was neat also observing part of the figure skating class.

One of the best Gyms in Berks County! I've been working out at Body Zone for the past two years. They have everything you could ask for as far as equipment - including an indoor track and pool! Friendly staff and super helpful if you need training or have questions. Great in the winter time too for kids, they open an ice rink! Highly recommend to anyone considering membership

Great clean facility, but dress warm if you're watching hockey 🏒 coldest rink I've ever been in.

Every Saturday night I go to watch my girlfriend's son play little league basketball. Great place for the whole family.

Everything was good there the only thing is if you don't know how to ice skat I recommend being taught first so you won't hurt yourself.

I've been a member for almost 2 full years now. I have met a lot of great people while working out. The staff is very encouraging and is always ready to answer any and all questions. For someone who feels they can't do gym, I say give Body Zone a try.

My daughter has been apart of the learn to skate program and the instructors are the best! Our family loves body zone!

Great place activities for the kids, ice skating, soccer, swimming, runner at the same time getting physical therapy

My review is for the youth swim classes.

We aren't gym members, but we come to Body Zone for all things kids! The swim school they offer is phenomenal! I've heard mom's say they don't like that the kids take turns in the classes...or that they don't swim right away... and that blows my mind. From about 2.5 years old, to now almost 6 years old, my daughter has learned so much! And we always get asked where she goes. The way they teach is the American Red Cross training standard, and a lot is based on safety. "Safety first, then team work." It is so important to them being better swimmers, and helping those with fear of the water have the tools to be confident enough to be out there.

We've had quite a few of the instructors through our time, and they've all been wonderful. I think they are all trained well. The front desk staff are great. Kyle is always cordial and helpful. Miss Lisa is literally the best person on the planet. We just could not be more happy to swim here. Thank you, guys, for making our time here amazing.

They also participate in the JBF sale ( I love them for that. Totally helpful to the community.) And if I was closer, I'd probably join for myself. Their new classes look like fun!!

Amazing facility with everything you are looking for in a gym! Especially pleased with how clean and cared for the equipment and rooms are. Not to mention the new Rep Room class is so unique and an incredible workout - room atmosphere is so cool with the dimmed lighting! Definitely recommend for anyone in the area!

Not many sports complexes close by to compare to but they do have great options for all kinds of sports and workouts. You have to be a member or join/sign-up a team to use most of the facility. It's a clean, nice complex.

Staff Seemed Very Friendly and Helpful. Facilities were very clean and not crowded.

Great place to practice skating during the winter season

Love Body Zone. Staff is friendly and courteous. The facility is clean and maintained. They have taken every step possible to provide a safe fitness and sporting environment for it's members and guests. Masks are worn at all times and the policy enforced. Equipment is state of the art and is disinfected regularly by staff members. The locker rooms, showers, and lavatory facilities are clean and well maintained. The classes are great and taught by very competent and enthusiastic instructors. If you follow the rules and act accordingly, this is the place to be. This is the Mercedes Benz of fitness centers.

Great place to workout. Personal trainer Stephen is the best. The new REP ROOM CLASS is FANTASTIC. Guest services staff are fabulous, STACIE, STACEY, LACY and LILY

Good place to work out and great coaches

I'm reviewing for the Parent/Child Swim classes and toddler programs. We had an amazing experience taking this swim class! Miss Michelle is fantastic! She's great with kids in a wide range of ages, and gives such clear instruction. She really helps the parents understand their role in learning to swim and she makes it fun and engaging for everyone. I've also had questions and had to schedule a make-up class, and Lacy at the front desk has been beyond accommodating. She's great with anything you need. We are trying the toddler soccer program on Thursdays. I don't know the names of the two young gentlemen that run it. I will say that while the dark haired one does try hard to get the kids engaged and participating, the blonde one seems super over it. Which I do understand as it's hard to get 3-5 year olds to listen. My only suggestion would be that the young coaches try more games instead of running. For example, partner them up to pass the ball to each other, get dollar store hula hoops to kick through the practice aim, and use color comes to have them kick around. Play red light, green light, or freeze. I get it won't be perfect, they're just suggestions. I still think for the price it's a perfect place to get the kids out of the house and trying new things. This parent is extremely grateful to you all at Body Zone for offering these affordable programs. Thank you!! :)
