Mad Dogs Hot Dogs & Sugar Shack

We had the wall street lunch special as opposed to buying each of the items separately which would be a tad high priced. The hot dogs come with meat sauce topping with real and generous amount of chili meat (as opposed to other establishments that the sauce contains virtually no real meat), it was a homemade flavor and perfectly spiced with onions and mustard. Staff would ask us how everything was.

Great place was my first time. They were very accommodating to what i wanted. I had been wanting to go for a while now. I'm glad I did. My son goes often. I love that they have a pre paid board for those who may want to have a meal but dont have money. This is great for teens!

My first visit, and it was the most delicious burger I've had in a very long time. The chocolate covered strawberry shake was amazing. Very good food, at a reasonable price, served by a lovely family. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.

Damn good hot dogs with high quality toppings. My three dogs had different toppings involving philly cheese steak, chili, and sauerkraut, all of which were incredible! My own criticism would be I wish they toasted the buns, maybe that can be requested. I also wish there was a better seating atmosphere inside, but there’s plenty of outdoor seating for warmer weather! I definitely recommend! Hot dogs are a very underrated food and Mad Dogs takes them seriously!

Just stopped in for our first time and bought 3 hot dogs and a burger. Hot dog w/kraut, dog w/extra chili and American, and the Rocky (sautéed onions, cheese sauce, shaved steak like on a dog. All the hot dogs were great!
Got the California burger for my son but kept it to just mayo/ketchup/lettuce. It was an excellent burger. Super fresh meat that was flat griddled/smashed perfectly.
We love to support local businesses and this place will be a weekly stop from now on. Can’t wait to try more off the menu and let the kiddos enjoy some sweet treats as well.

This is a little gem of a quick bite hot dog place. They also have burgers and now serve breakfast. The owner is very hands on and took time out of her busy day to talk to us!! Stop in here for some good dogs!!!

Friendly staff, tasty food, and reasonable prices. We’ve already been back a second time! The ingredients taste extremely fresh, The Shrek has jalapeño and avocado (amongst other things) and they were crisp fresh jalapeños and firm but ripe avocado. The only draw back is they didn’t have ice for our soda and I’m a sucker for really cold soda (a small thing that was probably me being picky).

Nicest lady ever, gave me a free meal because I was short money. Best fries I ever ate.

Cozy relaxed local eatery with some creativity. Tasty hot dogs, great burgers, and excellent fries. I'll be back to try more food and ice cream as well.

Second time there and the menu will literally blow you away. Do the punch card and try everything. The burgers were some of the freshest meat I have tasted.

First time here. Passed it many times. I must say more hotdog combinations than I’ve ever seen. Great hospitality when you walk in. Definitely worth the stop. I’ll definitely be back again!

If you don’t know this place you should! BEST hot dogs in the Lehigh Valley area. They do not skimp on toppings! The best part is they have ice cream here too! Great for families to enjoy lunch or dinner.

This place is absolutely fantastic. I recently learned it has come under new ownership and is shows in the most amazing ways; both service and food.

They have an extensive menu with homemade fresh pressed burgers, in addition to the large selection of hot dogs. The ice cream speaks for itself with generous portions. My kids, who are picky eaters, loved their meals!

I also had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, Megan, who was delightful to converse with. I have been to this spot several times since under new ownership and there is most definitely a noticeable improvement in the quality of people working here.

I highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!

This was an absolutely great idea, place, food and service; but way too short lived. Wishing the owners all the best in retirement. :)

Got the Nutty Professor dog, onion rings and Wild Bill's birch beer. The dog comes with bacon, mayo, peanut butter and caramelized onions. Took my food to the nearby Macungie railfan park for some train action.

Great little selection of unique dogs just one block off the main drag. Nice stop in the middle of our day drive

The new owners have done an AMAZING job! They have a great product with a ton of options and go out of their way to make it a great experience. I highly recommend checking them out! You won’t be sorry!! And Megan and team are such great people! For friendly service and good food, stop by!

Delicious hot dogs, and a ton of different variations! Only place around that sells a Seattle style dog!
