I'm in my 40s and bought from these guys ever since I turned 21. Bear Swamp is and always will be our Macungie beer store. You can buy from Shangy's if you want to pay more for the same thing, there's a reason their parking lot is always empty.

A nice sized beer distributor with a good variety of beers and great hours.

Visiting from out of town, and this was the only place open. Bought a 12 pack of Ying Ling and the guy gave me a free Ying Ling T-Shirt. I didn't ask for it or need it, but it was a nice gesture. I left with a feeling that they're good people there. Oh yeah, big selection of beer!

WOW , personable and courteous service, nothing is too much trouble .... kindness EXUDES FROM THESE GUYS .. THERE IS A non -commercial , “down home” atmosphere , that appeals to all . Best of all , one can always count on honesty , and sincere concern for your needs , a conversation , and quick checkout if that’s ur desire . Not me .. best to hang around for all the good vibes . I have been going there since I was 21, as well as most family members!! Prices are reasonable, the hours of operation are not only convenient, but FANTASTIC!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWESOME!! Shout out to Ben and the rest of the associates. They assist in any way. Hence, my 31 years of being a patron!!

Macungie’s original beer store- with a great selection of beers! Staff is always down to earth & knowledgeable. If they don’t have what you want they will make sure to order it for you.

I moved into the area a few years ago and wasn’t sure where I was going to shop for beverages. I now visit the Swamp regularly and I can truly say they are the BEST distributor in the area! The staff has great knowledge of all products and give great advice. Always pleasant and willing to help out. They go out of their way to find items you are interested in even if they don’t have them in stock. Also, in case you didn’t’ know, they have a great selection of slushees! Make this your new stop for beverages….you won’t regret it!

I recently had Bear Swamp beverages provide all the beverages for my sons wedding on 9/25/21 and they were absolutely GREAT. Owner Kiel was helpful above and beyond the call of duty. He was knowledgeable and guided me through the entire process start to finish. Kiel was willing to meet with me and was not only on time with prompt delivery the day of the wedding, but was extremely helpful in the decision making process upon delivery, which proved to be challenging considering cocktail hour was in a different location than the reception. I am truely grateful for choosing Bear Swamp for such an important day and I HIGHLY recommend them for any occasion.

Awesome selection of beers and the best customer service I’ve ever experienced at any beer distributor. Was in a pinch and these guys went above and beyond to help me out and make sure I got the suds I needed and quickly too. I’d recommend these guys to anyone, absolutely phenomenal.

As part owner of Bear Swamp Beverage, we have taken all of the feedback on this site very seriously. We have lowered the prices and still have one of the BEST hours in the Lehigh Valley. Please continue to let us know how we can improve. My brother now manages the store day to day and working very hard to ensure we have a great customer experience and that you always get a good local/family owned store feel!

Always a great place to go to for your beer and alcohol needs. Friendly staff and have great hours where other places are closed. I highly recommend. I can't say a bad thing about it.

This store is taking the pandemic seriously and valuing the health and safety of both their employees and their customers. While many other stores are just going on as usual or trying to get away with as much as possible to keep money trickling in. I spoke with Stu on the phone, he was more than helpful, super friendly, and made me feel comfortable to pick up some cases (for a reasonable price on top of it). He gave me different options and worked with me. This is a bit out of our way, and possibly the only reason to go to Bear Swamp, but it is totally worth it. The Swamp is the place to be if you are looking for the best selections of beer. Kiel, Stu and the boys are fantastic at putting their customers safety first during these dark times. They always provide the best service and will continue to be my go to beer distributor.

My fiancé & I absolutely LOVE Bear Swamp! We moved to the area July 2020 & we built a bar in our garage. We needed a place to buy our beer though. Neighbors told us about a place called Shangy’s. We went there a couple of times before we refused to go anymore! Shangy’s has the most unfriendly miserable worst customer service ever... so needless to say, we found out about Bear Swamp! (Thank goodness). Plus it’s right up the road from our house. We started going there & loved how kind, friendly & helpful the entire staff is. My fiancé wanted IC Light because he loves it but they didn’t sell it at Bear Swamp (at the time). I decided to call up & explain that we hated Shangy’s & would love to give Bear Swamp our business if they could get us the IC Light. The staff was super friendly & told us the owner would be in later that day so they took my number down to give us a call to let us know. They appreciated that we would rather give them the business & we didn’t mind paying a couple extra dollars, so they literally started selling IC Light because of us! You’re welcome people! They’ve been extremely welcoming to us since we’re new to the area & I love that. I want to shop somewhere that values me as a customer. Plus they’re family owned so that’s also a plus! We even inquired about getting a keg of IC Light for our bar & they quoted us a price & next time we came in for beer, it was already there! (We still haven’t ordered the kegerator yet though. Working on that now). Love this place. We don’t go anywhere else for beer/ice. Amazing friendly & willing to help customer service. Thank you for welcoming us with open arms. I just so happened to stop by one day for my mother. This business is by far the only business I have seen in my eyes in the allentown/trexlertown pa, that have taken this virus so serious! I love that! It shows how much they value our life and their customers ! Once you decide to stop by you will see a little line made by the owner. You will get to the window and then you tell him what you want, he brings it to you so you don't have to go inside! Thank you bear swamp beverage ! Thank you for protecting our lives!

You'll get a bargain here! This establishment has the best selection of beverages in the area; you'll be sure to find something according to your unique tastes. The cashiers in the window are always super friendly and fast. I will surely return!

My top beer distributor. Open on Sundays and a great selection. Prices are average. They now have grab bag six packs or make your own six pack.
