Bill and Bob are awesome hosts..who make you feel like family. We stayed there for 2 weeks and absolutely loved it. The breakfast is very healthy and really good. The mid nineteenth century architecture brings out the character and charm of of this awesome place. The rooms make you feel like you're right at home; and the view of the Delaware river is impressive. Definitely prefer to stay here over a hotel anytime. Will stay here anytime we're in New Hope!

We stayed here for a week while our daughter was recovering from surgery. It was great. My wife and I had what must have been the smallest room (our daughters selection) and it was good because it had a balcony that looked out over the river where we spent most of our time. The location was beautiful and the inn keeper was accommodating.

Beautiful location with comfortable cozy rooms. Couldn’t ask for anything else from a bed and breakfast. Speaking of, Bill crafts some of the best breakfasts I’ve had and was very lovely overall. Would highly recommend GAIA if you are staying in New Hope

Such a lovely place! Bill is super nice and accommodating, room and surrounding area is gorgeous.

I saw another review mention the bathroom was lacking functionally, but I did not feel this was the case for us. Would give more than 5 stars if I could!

Great little place right on the river. It IS a historic house so you can hear your neighbors even if they are being quiet. We have a white noise machine that helped buffer some of the sound. But they have done a great job creating space for all the modern amenities in a very historic space. Each room has a mini fridge but it sits outside your room, and there is a shared microwave for the 4 rooms, upstairs but everything is impeccably clean. We stayed in room 2, which is a little cozy for 2 grown adults, but it had an awesome balcony that we loved sitting on.

I stayed here for a week after having some major surgery done since the surgeon I saw is in the area and honestly cannot recommend them enough. The rooms are cozy and nice, the breakfast is the best breakfast Ive ever had served in bed and the hosts are the kindest people. You really feel welcome and safe and cared about while staying here. They have everything you need for however long you're staying and offer a very xen environment.

This is one of the most delightful bed and breakfast places to stay. The men that prepare your breakfast are kind, attentive, and great conversationalists. The rooms are gorgeous! The smaller rooms feel like home and then some. The larger rooms are exquisite. The back patio/balcony overlooks the Delaware river and would look stunning any time of the year. It's close enough to town that you can walk in and visit the shops. I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. It is a treat.

Bill and Rob were absolutely wonderful and SO understanding. The rooms were individually decorated in their own lovely manners, all with great views, and the foam beds were really a pleasure to rest in! Breakfast tasted great and all utilities were also very accessible. I definitely look forward to staying again in the future. Thanks for having my mum and me!!

Its a phenomenal, welcoming and safe place to stay. I was able to recover from surgery and had no problems with my stay. Bill and Rob are great hosts, they are helpful and a pleasure to talk too. The food, and company is not something I was expecting but couldn't be happier with.

Great place to stay, especially if you're a patient of Dr. McGinn!
Bill and Ron are wonderful hosts.
Great amenities and so much in walking distance.
If you need transportation while you're there call the Gaia Guest house and ask how to contact David, he was a lifesaver as our personal chauffeur. He'll even pick you up at the airport (but try to avoid JFK if you can).

THE most congenial, warm and cozy B&B I've ever stayed at...bar none.
I had the pleasure of staying at GAIA for a week after undergoing surgery and the atmosphere was perfect for my recovery. I can't say enough about the wonderful management, the cozy room and the holistic environment.

I stayed here for a week post-op and it was lovely. The house is beautiful and quaint but also is up to date with all its tech like smart TVs and Keuig coffee makers. The breakfast is also very well done and something I looked forward to every morning.

The people who run the house are also incredibly kind, as were the other guests. Overall just a very comfortable and relaxing stay, perfect for patients of Dr.McGuinn or for anyone who just wants a great place to stay in New Hope.

As an additional note for patients, the Papillon center is a short drive away should you have an emergency.

We stayed here for a weekend and it has to be my favorite place I have ever stayed. Bill makes you feel like family, the house is gorgeous, the breakfast is amazing, and it's a 5 minute walk into town to all of the shops and restaurants. I definitely will be back!

Sometimes you envision a magical place, so beautiful that everywhere you look you discover another "Oh my" moment, this is the essence of Gaia. Nestled along the river, it is a retreat for healing and affirmation. Bill and Rob, who truly are caretakers in the literal sense of the word, are just precious. From delicious breakfasts to whatever unexpected need might arise, their kindness and smiles just warm your heart. This is a very special place for very special souls, and it will be a sublime memory in my life forever.

Spent a week and a half here, charming, super helpful staff.
Rooms much nicer and more up to date than you would think.

Rooms are set up for medical recovery.

Very accepting and lgbt supportive.

Only complaint is small niggling. Found some hair in folda bed.

Beautiful refurbished 150 year old building, lush courtyard with seating, Delaware River very close by. Healthy breakfast choices and within walking distance of downtown New Hope
