Here you will find a great and diverse selection of artists that won’t hurt your wallet!! Purchased a ton of $2.00 albums that were all in great condition. Can’t wait to go return to find more rare albums at a great price!!

Friend of mine saw a record there for the soundtrack of my favorite move - "Summer of '42". Friend couldn't make it back to pick it up, so the owner shipped it to us - for free, even after we offered to pay by venmo! What an amazing person and what an amazing record store. I could not have found that vinyl record anywhere. 5 stars!

My son loves going to record stores, since he likes classic rock and collects records and cds. Sweet Repeat had more of the types of things we look for than any other place we’ve gone. He got all the Bon Jovi cds he wanted and my husband scored big on records— everything from rock to jazz. Everything here is priced to save you big bucks too. My daughter is 5 and told the owner while we were checking out: “Other stores just want your money!” Haha. She purchased her very first cd on this trip, and is very proud of it. My son has been bragging for days about the deals and how nice the owner was to us. Certainly made us customers for life!

I was visiting New Hope with friends on a cool, breezy fall day last weekend. As we ambled down the Main Street popping into shops, we stopped for a nice meal. The ladies continued to shop while my friend and I found places to sit outside while our counterparts found fun items to share with family along the bustling River town. It was chilly, so we ducked into an entryway of a small music shop a few steps down off the walkway on the edge of town. There was a small rack on the outside with discounted LP’s…the kind that are fun to finger through, triggering delightful memories of good times. These were the kind of albums that made you feel warm and made you want to spin up to recapture the great feelings you didn’t know that are tucked away in your youthful mind. My friend found a timeless Donny Osmond album that had a frenzied success back in its day. He bought it for his niece, a big fan who he knew it would please immensely. He could already see her smile as he held it up.
When he took it inside, I ruffled through the $2 selection and my eyes caught a record titled “Summer of ‘42”. My eyes lit up. I pulled out my camera and took a picture of it, and fired it off to my buddy in GA, his favorite movie of all time.
My friend came back with his new purchase, a smile of happy content that this simple gift would spread warmth and smiles with his family.
He spoke of the neat cozy shop, the friendly laidback feeling you got when sharing music with your best friends.
What happened after that triggered a chain of events that solidified my hope in the human race.
Here is the sequence of texts that followed from GA:
“Omg! I want that. Impossible to find anywhere! Where was this???”
“In a record shoppe in New Hope, PA”
(I sent a screenshot of the website - “Sweet Repeat Records” )
“If you want it, they are closed tonight. I didn’t know or I would’ve gotten it for you. It’s in a town is pretty far away from us. Here’s the shop, the 2nd photo is the rack I saw it on. The arrow points to where they will find it in the outside $2 rack. Hopefully they still have it! *** Never mind. I just called and talked to the guy - he’s driving around in his car somewhere, but he’s going to go in in the morning and pull the album aside for me. I think we got it - we’ll see if it’s still there in the morning 🤞“
“ I really hope he has it! I’ll pay to mail it? This means a lot to me…thanks bro”
Bill is the shop owner that answered my call after hours, he felt the urgency and hope.
He promised to look for it the next morning. I sent him screenshots with arrows pointing to the location on the rack outside his little shop of memories.
I’ve already taken up too much space with this story, if you want more details, Bill is a friendly gent and can warm you up with more fun details. I encourage you to walk in and give him a spin.
In the end, the next morning he opened shop to a line of people and he located the record for me. The personal banter we exchanged was like old friends. The gratuitous personal details are mine. In the end, he saved me a trip and shipped the record off to my friend in GA, who exploded with happiness. This was a magical “Pay-it-forward” moment I beared witness to.
Go find your own memory and share a good time with Bill on your next visit to New Hope.
This shoppe alone was worth the trip. Go make Bill smile and tell him you were sent by “The Summer of ‘42”.

I stopped by SR on Saturday, April 29. I was in town for a wedding and had scoped this store out several weeks prior on Instagram. Excellent updates showcasing rare/hard to find first pressings and titles I loved. Every wall picture was chock full of albums I’d love to add to my collection. Needless to say, when I stopped in, I was not disappointed. I was met with a friendly cashier who let me know if I had any questions to not hesitate to ask. Within several minutes of being in the store I had already found a few albums. I had seen online and was excited that were still there. From there I spent the next hour digging through all areas of the store, inspired a good while on the ground digging through the 45 section. The owner came by and asked if I need a stool and I told him I was fine. We got to talking and you could tell he has an and you could tell he has a passion for what he does, and making sure that his customers are taken care of from the fullest. I watched him check his back room to see if there was any stock of an album for another couple. Who does that! In total, I purchased 4x really grest and excellent condition 1960s 45 cases. I left with several 45s, and 13 records in total. This was an amazing stop, and anytime I am back in this area I will be sure to make this a stop. Thank you for the great customer, service and experience!

This store is such a gem and the owner is as well! Had such a great time diving through the records, which are more than fairly priced. The owner got a new shipment, which I chose a few records from, and with one of them having a scratch and not knowing the quality, he gave me the record and held them for me so I could walk around town and pick them up later! This shop is definitely a must stop, even when not from the area like me.

In a digital world, it's refreshing to see physical copies of music. You'll find vinyl's, CD's and even cassettes. Prices are pretty good, especially when there's a sale. The owner is extremely helpful in finding what you're looking for and even offering a suggestion.

I cant say enough great things about this place. Its my favorite place on earth. Bill is wonderful. Ton of variety, extremely reasonable prices. I found a Sam Cooke album through an Instagram post and he held it for me, no problem, even sent a photo of the track list. Highly recommend. Be sure to check out the $1 record shelf too on your way in!

After visiting Sweet Repeat, it has quickly become a new mental highlight of new hope when visiting. The section of vinyl records is both well rounded and diverse, and very fair in price. The clerk who I spoke to, who owns the store with his father, was kind and welcoming. This is a great store period.

Such a nice store with wonderful service. Warm atmosphere and a great collection (I just picked up a Joni Mitchell record for 8 dollars so also super affordable.) will definitely be visiting again next time I’m in the area! :)

Wonderful selection of classic rock, prog rock, and jazz fusion vinyl records, and they are all very reasonably priced. I got the most records for $130 than I’ve ever gotten at one time before. And they are all in good to very good condition. In fact, I even got a bunch of $2 records that I’ve seen sold in the same condition for 3-4 times the price. Very courteous and professional staff as well. I will be going back for sure.
