Pick & Shovel Great Hardware Store Pretty Much Carry Everything Even Have A Great Ice Cream Stand Creamy Ice Cream If Noone Has Tried It They Should Go To Pick & Shovel

the place was packed!! the ice cream shop was a big contributor to that parking lot was sketchy with people everywhere but the hardware store employees didn't miss a beat I was assisted almost immediately by a young lady and a friendly knowledgeable gentleman got just what I needed ( some roofing screws) and at a great price to boot and was on my way in less then 5 min I dreaded trying to go in due to the large amount of customers but the staff are plentiful, alert,quick and helpful thank you folks.

I love shopping at the pick and shovel they have just about everything Under One Roof just like Swizes in Syracuse New York which is no more in business too bad cuz it was one of the best places in the world I think

Amazing place with an enormous inventory and extreme variety from housewares to pets and supplies to tools and so on. Definitely worth the visit if you're in the area. And also Ice cream outside in the summer.

Pick & Shovel has it all. Got my paint matched up. Got my screens repaired. Fixed my closet door with the part they stocked. Varnished my hardwoods. Found high quality clothing. Brought home gifts for everyone one.

I can spend all day here! Absolutely love coming here when I am in town. I never leave empty banded!!

Great place to shop. Helpful staff and great prices. My family has a house on Seymour lake and this is our home depot if we're not at our main homes in Massachusetts. Been shopping here for years and would recommend it to anyone.

They have so much here! Staff is super friendly and helpful. And gotta stop for ice cream after shopping!

My family and I go every summer when we visit our grandfather, and the ice cream is always good, and the people are always nice and patient.

Wow, this place is H U G E!

Staff super friendly. They have almost everything from lumber, to boots, to birdseed, so appliances. You name it, they probably have it.

This store (IMHO) is far superior to Walmart. Not just hardware/lumber, they have just about anything (non-grocery) you may want/need with friendly, helpful people to assist you as needed.

Great spot for ice cream. They have a huge selection even no sugar added options. Highly recommend.

Pick and Shovel what one can say is a mix of everything! From Aubuchons, Walmart, Runnings, Tractor Supply, Animals better than Pet Co even Ferrier and Large animal care fidni mention Outdoor stuff like Sam's Club then Homedepots on the 4th floor...Woah nestolgic 80s & 90s Children's toys. Simply just visit the place and go Bannans oh yeah the ice Creamery is attached to the building and everything is mouth watering like so much YES!

I purchased a patio set a couple years ago from this business. I bought it because I loved the blue cushions! After two months the color went from blue to lilac! Very disappointed.i went to see if I could purchase replacement cushions, and explained to Sierra (I hope I got the name right). What happened. This young lady went above and beyond for me! Contacted the company that made the patio set, and got them replaced for me!! Thank you so very much! I have never been treated with anything but respect and kindness in that store. I purchased a home after my husband passed. And had projects and questions about those projects. Everyone has always been more than helpful!

They have a wide variety of selection. The kids love to visit and roam the store, too. Everyone is helpful and happy to see you in the store. It is a true Vermont gem!
