Derby Cow Palace

7.30.23 We came to feed the elk and then eat some elk. It was great to see the fenced elk and they came over to munch on the grass, feed. The parking area was big, we got seated right away. We ordered the elk medallions and sample platter which had wings, nachos, etc and it was huge. We thought prices were great for the quantity of food. Our waitress was awesome and she even did separate bills for our party of 5. Great experience by all.

The Cow Palace is a true gem at Derby (Derby Line). Ordered a menu special of panko encrusted scallops with french fries. The meal hit the spot! The portions are very generous, prices are very reasonable, and the service was fantastic. You will be treated like a local and a member of the family. Don't zip across the US/Canada border without stopping at Cow Palace.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon staying at the family farm, and we love going to Cow Palace whenever we are there. We love love love the wings! I got the seafood casserole, which was outstanding, and my husband got the fried seafood platter, which was also so tasty! Every time we go, we are never unsatisfied! Their service was great, too! The only thing we wished was that they would be open more so we could go more often while in town.

This is a very nice restaurant with good food and amazing decor.
It was worth getting off the highway and having proper food and enjoying the atmosphere.

My son had the CP sampler as his dinner, well because he's a 13 year old boy. 😆 I ordered the amazing seafood casserole. Oh my goodness! This was a great dish and had so much flavor. From the Newburg sauce on top to the sweet stuffing on the bottom, I will most definitely get this again. Service was great and they came and offered refills which lately it seems like some places are too busy to do. Overall great food and great service. We also went over to the elk afterwards and gave them a good pet. PS, they like apples. 🙂

Our go to place for a nice piece of prime rib at a good price. Food and service here has always been great and we have never been disappointed.

This is a great restaurant! Excellent menu done correctly when ordered. Everything was very tasty. Very friendly and attentive staff. Plus the atmosphere was top notch! No TV or music smothering out the conversation. The interior is bright clean and roomy. Having stuffed animals and live elk on the property topped off the aura of a wonderful place to eat.
And the prices are reasonable!

Awesome experience! Our waitress was so nice and she was friendly and took good care of us. Food was excellent! After eating we went and checked out the Bison and Elk. Them Bison are huge. We loved it!

Atmosphere went from 1 star to 5 stars as soon as that Karen left, mood lightened up and everyone happy again.

The food was fantastic and loved the scenery Noth inside the restaurant and the live elk and buffalo outside in the field was great entertainment.

Great little place, lots on the menu, my only complaint would be a lack of vegetable options. But everything I ate was good. It's good ol fashioned comfort food.

My husband and I went here last night to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. I called around 5:30 to ask if we needed to make a reservation and the girl on the phone recommended we should because they were busy. We made reservations for 7:30. The waitresses were amazing! And the baked stuffed haddock was the best I’d ever had! And the price was so reasonably! Definitely come here for a great time. The atmosphere made the experience so much better than it already was!
