Tavern on the Hill

Both the servers were lovely and there was a bustling crowd of locals. Delicious food for a reasonable price. I would totally go here again!

Great place to eat fish and chips, a burger, etc. Virtually everything on the menu looked delicious. Got a burger with sweet potato fries and friend got fish and chips. Both were excellent quality in presentation and taste.

The place was packed. Could barely get a seat and had to move another chair at the bar to a second one to be able to seat two. Friendly staff and environment. Chatted with another person there who told me it was Taco Tuesday which is why it's so packed. It's not open every night due to staffing issues, and the town will have different restaurants open on different nights to account for this.

Family stopped by for an early dinner. We got poutine fries, a tavern burger, and a cheese steak. Food was hot and delicious. The tavern had a great local/hometown atmosphere. This is where many locals spend their time for drinks, food, and good company. Will definitely be joining in more often

Discovered this while while taking a drive. Large parking lot was almost coifull when we stopped for lunch. BLT was perfect. Tasty bread. Nothing overpowered any other component. The chicken Cordon Blu special was cooked perfectly. The chicken was moist.

We are honeymooning in town and decided to stop for a quick bite to eat. We loved the atmosphere, country, rustic, tavern. We were greeted as soon as we sat down. Our drinks came right away. I ordered the crab Rangoon, Wisconsin cheese curds, and the Maple Jack chicken tenders. Even though the ragoons were out I got the duck wontons. My husband got the apple pulled pork sandwich. Everything came out quickly and was so delicious! We even bought a shirt to remember this place for next time we are in town. Definitely recommend this place for anything from drinks to the food, to the atmosphere to the cool shirts. The waitresses were also very nice and on top of refills!

Little stop after an hike on a nearby mountain, we had a lunch and a good beer we had a lotnof fun , really nice place and food and beer were excellent

It was our first time eating at this restaurant and it was a nice cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious and it came out very quick. There was one person who was managing the bar and the tables, She was super sweet!

Lovely evening, and delicious food! The Tavern is the only place in the Newport/Derby area (And surrounding areas) with a delightful vegan menu! There was live music as well tonight! Good time, and the food is so worth the trip!

Great food at great prices and portions are large! Will go back for more. They have Taco Tuesdays as well.

The food was amazing, good sized portions, reasonably priced and staff was friendly. Will be going back again for sure. Would highly recommend if someone wants a good place to eat.

The food is always good, the ladies behind the bar, are constantly moving to make all happy, fed and..."watered"
Plus the entertainment has been awesome!!!

I absolutely LOVED the waiter, atmosphere, and food!!!!! I ordered a poutine with popcorn chicken. Didn't disappoint at all.

Excellent food. And though it was busy and it seemed like there was only 1 person waiting on everyone, she did great! Looking forward to going back.

The loaded nachos with pulled pork never disappoint!
