Virginia Forrest Recreation Area, Delaware Canal State Park

My favorite place to park and go for biking. Or just sit and watch Delaware River flowing. There is seperate area where anyone can barbecue and spent time in nature and peace.

We passed thru here on our PA/NJ Delaware River Loop Trail hike today. There was one bathroom opened. There are picnic tables and grills by the river. Parking lot is pretty big. Would be a nice place to park for a hike on the canal trail on PA side or just take the loop trails.

it is perfect for swimming as much as children and adults the place is not very big but it is perfect 👌



Travel through here before on another park down the trail this way heading back when I leave going up the trail headed towards bucks, county, water, country and then going home from that way

Ample parking, great trails and ok entry to river

South of here you can ride uninterrupted for many miles. To the North though you have to detour onto the open road because of a washout on the trail.

Plenty of parking and a clean restroom. If you’re biking from here and heading north along the towpath be aware that the trail gets a bit rough around the quarry. Still very passable though.

1.3 miles north of Centre Bridge on River Road this rest area has parking for 30 cars and a restroom building. Access to towpath and view of Delaware but no boat ramp.

This is a great access point to Delaware Canal State Park in the section north of New Hope. There's parking and a picnic area overlooking the canal and river.

Amazing place. Def need to come back every weekend. Dont forget to bring aquashoes

High tension tours ,not sure how dangerous that is? You can hear the transformer from the ground
