Stopped here for a night out dinner and sat in the vault room which was a neat atmosphere with lots of history through the years but utilized nicely here. Prices were impressive for the quality of food and menu items were great. I appreciated that wraps and burgers were available but they were very good and unique. Really like the Buffalo cauliflower and Brussel sprout appetizers. Good amount and fantastic taste. Also nice selection of drinks. All around a great experience and will be happy to return.

Not fair, I was not hungry, and then my son's food came. It looked, and yes, it was delicious 😋

We had a memorable and exquisite experience dining at Journey while visiting Johnstown. Chef Jeet and the staff were welcoming and attentive, providing excellent food and service. We started with cocktails and doi fuchka, and shared the spicy chicken curry, butter chicken, and lamb vindaloo. Each dish was elevated and unique, with Chef Jeets personal twists and flavors. Spice level of 5 to 7 was perfect for us. The butter chicken was creamy and comforting with some of the most tender chicken I've ever had. Lamb vindaloo was hearty with generous portions of lamb. For the critiques, I found the texture of naan a little soft for my taste, and the cocktails were not very memorable. All in all, I would definitely visit again and would highly recommend you try it out.

Loved the menu options and loved the atmosphere! The food was very good and the prices are reasonable considering the quality of food being served. They also have an outdoor seating area. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant!

My husband and I held an intimate wedding ceremony (with 9 guests) at Balance just a week ago and I truly cannot speak highly enough about our experience. From weeks of planning to the end of the event, Amanda and the entire Balance staff were genuinely invested in ensuring everyone had a wonderful experience. Amanda went above and beyond to help us curate a menu and atmosphere for our guests that they’re still buzzing about! We are looking forward to coming back again to relive the fond memories of our very special day. Thank you to everyone at Balance that played a role in making our day perfect.

I attended a bridal shower here and it was beautiful! The service was excellent! They had a bubbly bar with a variety of flavors and fruit skewers. It was the best bridal flower I've been to!

Wonderful experience for a small family wedding. The staff were very attentive and helpful throughout the day. Food was fantastic, they offered a nice variety of options and even a scratch made kids meal.

Saw other great reviews online and decided to try it for dinner- we are glad we did! And a great start to celebrating my hubbys birtdhay!
About hour and half from home it was worth the drive! We tried Margarita Pizza, Spinach Salad with grilled chicken and Greek Salad with steak ! Yum!!

Came here with my parents for dinner on a Friday night. We all enjoyed the experience. I hope this place thrives. The food was excellent.
All three of us ordered chicken soup, which was was served with a slice of bread on the side. The soup and and the bread were both exquisite. Definitely made by someone who knows how to cook. It’s the best chicken soup I’ve had in a long time— flavorful and reminiscent of the soup my grandma used to make. And the bread was supposedly made locally. It was lightly coated with olive oil and a little salt. For our main dishes, my dad ordered a grain bowl, my mom got a rice bowl, and I had the protein bowl. All of our meals were delicious. I liked the tarragon dressing on my protein salad. My dad’s grain bowl was delicious too but it was a lot of grain— some lettuce greens in the bottom would have helped to lighten it up a bit. But nevertheless, it was all very good and we were very pleased with everything. The staff was also nice and attentive. Happy to have this restaurant in town. I will definitely come here again when I visit Johnstown.

Excellent mango salad. Plus, I attended a Jamaica Night Cuisine & Rum Education event there. Beverage manager was very knowledgeable & Orville, sous chef originally from Jamaica, created 3 courses for the group - exceptional food & cocktail pairings, & delightful presentation!

Beautiful ambiance, impeccably ran and uniquely delicious. A must stop when traveling through the area and a credit to the community. All this and I was early and had a limited bar food menu. I especially liked the Brussels sprouts which had a splash of citrus and had just the right amount of roasting. Very flavorful. The burger was also a standout as there were levels of depth hiding beneath this familiar exterior. I will be returning to try the full menu. More to follow...

This is one of those places that gets it all done right. The food is extraordinary with inventive mix of ingredients. The parmesan crusted lemon brussel sprouts were so amazingly delicious. Thai inspired salmon was perfection. All that being said, the service was friendly and attentive. Simply outstanding in every detail.

Balance is in the top tier of restaurants in Johnstown! Modern, clean, well trained staff, an outstanding kitchen crew. You really owe it to yourself to go there if you haven’t been. Rotating menus designed by the chef and I have never received anything that wasn’t top notch.

Personal service from the owners made a special night more special. We were celebrating my fathers birthday and owners Amanda and Dallas gave him some extra social attention, food recommendations and free dessert.

The food is such an interesting compilation of items you won’t find on other local menus. A great atmosphere, very cool vibe make this a place we will visit again.

They make delicious soups! We’ve never had one we didn’t like. The short ribs were delicious— a highlight. And the Brussels
Sprouts appetizer and the Bacon appetizers were favorites too!

I've heard for a couple years how great this restaurant is from a friend and I finally made it out to try it with them. Service was fantastic. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Specials all sounded delicious. The Autumn Shandy was phenomenal and the rest of the meal and dessert were top notch as well. The restaurant is following all current guidance related to covid. Will definitely be back again soon!

My mother and I shared one of their margarita pizzas… over 20 years ago, I lived in Southern France and this was the closest I’ve ever gotten to that kind of pizza again! AMAZING!!!- now my new favorite restaurant in Johnstown!

Stopped here for lunch for a book club field trip and the food and drinks were amazing! Highly recommend the perogies. The waitress was fun and engaging. Full of information about the area. Definitely a must-return to place.

Very nice restaurant, with great outdoor seating. The food and service was great. The drinks were a bit pricy for what they were but still tasted good. Our waitress was amazing, very personable and checked up on us multiple times. Would recommend this for a cute lunch or dinner place.

All around 5 star restaurant that you should definitely take the time to eat at. We highly recommend the Brussel sprouts, French fries, broccoli, goat cheese dip, and salads; but trust me when I say nothing will disappoint!! The food is just absolutely amazing!
