Great staff had no problem, they have online medical record database which is very convenient to check results

My first visit with them was great and helpful. I was glad to have hopefully found a good doctor. My second visit occured on November 1st after being sick for almost 2 weeks. This visit happened with another doctor in the practice. After getting there there was not a single person in the waiting room and I didn't see or hear anyone go in or out. They took me back to the room about 10 minutes later. Nurse did what she needed to. I continued to wait for 54 minutes before the doctor finally came in and gave me almost no actual checking and just said to take some OTC meds for my cold. On November 27th I called back stating that I still have a very persistent cough and it's making it hard to breathe and requested to see if I needed to be seen again or if they had any other ideas on what I could be doing to get rid of it and I was told they would call back. It is now November 30th and I called again since I still have not received a call from them in which they said the doctor still hasn't even read my message yet to respond. They clearly have no care for their patients health.

Needed a refill on my prescription and refused because I didn't complete my blood work. Completely unprofessional, there are compromises but they are unyielding. Bye

Not good ever since Dr. Matthew left. Very slow response time via MyChart & when calling the office with questions. Very disappointed in the care my parents receive at this practice. Would not recommend.

DO NOT VISIT THIS PRACTICE. I received bill for my routine check up because they have messed up the coding, their billing department is separate and confirmed the error was made by the hospital . Then I called the hospital several times and the rude manager asked me to drop the bill at hospital which I did then when I called them again ( since they needed a few days) they said I need to visit again and drop the bill. I have been circling around their billing department and hospital with no help. No one cares at this practice. I am just paying the bill and would never visit them again.

Do NOT use this practice as primary care physician!!!!!!!!! They originally referred me to a psychiatrist due to my depression and lifelong struggle with adhd (which I struggled with since I was 8 years old). this referred psychiatrist coached me through struggles with medication and therapy which changed my life. I was able to get a buisness degree in college, and for once in my life didn't let my handicap define me. However, this psychiatrist retired due to old age, which his soon to close practice suggested reaching out to your "primary care physician, for temporary medication management" and i took that advice which lead me to call Hartsville medical, and OMG I never have felt so humiliated and treated with such disrespect, by the receptionist Sherry( or Shirley)... I said hi, my psychiatrist retired and his practice recommended me to see my primary care physician to make an appointment for temporary medication management until I see my psychiatrist(as was also recommended by the new practice I called to cover my medication until my initial appointment) and if needed I can release my medical records to you and she said didn't you call the other day? (Confused) I was like no...and she was like oh no!! There is no way we would do that for you! Call your insurance card since their is no way we can do that for you, no way(her tone of voice was so excited to turn me down) the worst part is the meds from my retiring psychiatrist, we're originally prescribed from this practice! All I did was followed the medical advice of my former and new psychiatrist just to be rejected and treated like dirt, it boggles my mind that they felt zero obligation to see me and refused to give me an appointment. Please do yourself a favor and learn from my experience and find a pcp that cares about your situation and will be there when you need them, and that's anywhere but Hartsville medical!!
