Conemaugh Physician Group - Portage - Rural Health Clinic

I've been going to the Portage office of Conemaugh Physicians Group since it opened. The staff is always pleasant. Caring when you call with a problem. I am confident that my health care needs are being met. Dr. Mark Ratchford is the best. He always listens to my concerns. He's very easy to talk with. I'm satisfied with every aspect of my care.

I have been coming to the Portage Health Center for about 20 years and have found this to be a wonderful clinic. The employees are all very helpful and very professional. If you need an appointment they always work to fit you in. If you need to talk to a nurse and they are busy they always return your phone call. Dr. Mark Ratchford is a wonderful doctor. He is very caring and takes time to help you. If he feels you need to see a specialist he refers you to the best. I am very happy with the Portage Health Clinic and I am happy with all the employees.

Dr. Mark Ratchford and Susan Berardinelli are two of the best Primary Care Providers I have ever had. They both take time to listen to and address my health concerns. I never feel rushed when I am in an exam roof with either of them. Highly recommended!

Dr. Shikara is very kind and patient. She listens to everything, and you dont feel rushed. Nurse today was, I think, Ann. She was very very sweet.

Dr Berardinelli is fantastic! She takes time and listens to her patients. She is caring and goes the extra mile!

We have come here for 15 years. Our children are also patients and we always feel welcome and attended to when visiting or when we call. All of the staff is friendly and professional.

The doctors are absolutely wonderful unfortunately some of the office staff aren't as nice. Called in to get a new Auth due to my other one expiring the nurse whom was very kind said no problem she would have them submit it. Called in a week later to see if they had started yet and the receptionist informed me they hadn't even started and they wouldn't be getting to it for a while. Then proceeded to tell me it probabily wouldn't be back for a while due to how many people were in front of me from this week's appointment (even though I called last week). Very rude.
