I having been going to this dentist for a few years now and I have had fillings and crown replacements and I have no complaints about anyone that has worked on my teeth! I am not an easy person to please when it comes to dental work but every procedure has been with minimal discomfort. Everyone is professional and friendly and helpful with insurance questions (Ann). I am impressed with a young girl Brittany and how much she loves to make the temporary crowns! At this point the only problem is the lack of dental hygienist which I hope they are able resolve soon. I was assured that the dentist is available for any dental issues.

I have had a mixed experience with dentist offices - some have been very good, and when I was a kid some that were absolute nightmares, so going to the dentist is always a stressful event.

Taconic was wonderful! My hygienist, Sherry, was so thorough and helpful, gave me lots of tips and did a beautiful job cleaning my teeth. I felt well cared for and am happy that I'll have a great place to go if I ever have issues in the future.

I have a severe phobia of anything dental related. I have spent years trying to find the right fit for my needs and the staff at Taconic Dental Arts is amazing. They address my fears and helped develop a trusting relationship. Sarah J is a great communicator, Brittany is supportive and comforting. Can't say enough about Dr. Spencer, his demeanor, approach and catered care really makes an impact on my experience. I am so happy to have found this practice and highly recommend!

I had the best experience at Taconic Dental Arts in the Rutland office while on vacation. Being I was on vacation and not a patient of theirs they still managed to squeeze me in and take care of me! Not only did the Dr do great work but the office staff was wonderful, caring and very efficient

Taconic dental has been amazing for me. Everyone is so nice and welcoming and they have always been flexible around my schedule. The dentist and hygienist are wonderful and they truly know what they are doing. Not to mention they are fantastic on time, I’m never waiting for my appointment. I highly recommend this office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Schmidt's for some years now. When I was new to Rutland in 2004, a neighbor recommended him. He is, without question, the best Dentist with whom I have ever worked. He is highly professional, very concerned for his patients and very welcoming to new patients.
He has surrounded himself with exemplary staff. From the "office girls", to the Dental Hygienists and assistants who are all extremely friendly and competent and caring.
I have a history of bad teeth and tough times finding a dentist. Dr. Schmidt has proven to me that dental work can be done in a friendly, caring, professional and painless manner, which I had never before experienced. I cannot recommend him more highly.

Best dentist ever! Everyone in the office is always very nice and attentive to my needs. Same day crown service is great. I've never felt pain while he's been doing work and he's done a lot of work for me. My kids actually enjoy going to the dentist because they are so great with them.

Had to drive almost 3 hours to find a dentist that could do my root canal that could be paid for by insurance. Doctor Tyler Carmack did an amazing job and I'm so thankful. The staff are so nice and lovely. It was definitely worth the drive. Taconic Dental Arts, and doctor Tyler, thank you so much for fixing my very important tooth.

My family is new to the Rutland area and were in search of a new family dentist. I had read several reviews and when I called Dr. Schmidt's office I couldn't have been more pleased with the friendliness of the receptionist and her patience in scheduling multiple appointments. My first visit couldn't have gone any smoother. I would highly recommend this dental office.

The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Dr. Carmack has the greatest personality. Put me at my ease. He explained what was happening simply and made sure I understood and he listened to all my questions and concerns. I will definitely be willing to go back.

I have been a patient of Dr. Schmidt's ever since he bought the practice and am so glad that I stayed. Everyone on the team is completely professional and a pleasure to work with ... if you need a great experience I could not more highly recommend Dr. Schmidt's office.

My hygienist is always on time, and is extremely professional. She and Dr. Schmidt treat me with respect by actively listening to my questions and concerns. The office staff are very friendly and helpful when I have questions.

Having my crown done all in one sitting was a pleasant surprise. It's great to be able to chew on both sides of my mouth as a result.
I enjoyed watching my crown being milled in a matter of minutes.

The staff here has been very welcoming and friendly. The dentist is great and i couldn't ask for a better place to go. They make you feel very comfortable.

Always friendly and patient. Explain what they are doing and why and how I may react to it. They all know that I get anxious and let me wear the lead vest. I also get told that I'm doing well when I just remember to keep breathing. I love them all.

Love, love, love Taconic. I broke a tooth on Valentine's day and they stayed after hours to help fix it. I will definitely be recommending Taconic anytime somebody asks I got a about a dentist.

It took me 4 years to get myself back to a Dentist office and i certainly chose the right one. Everyone was friendly and professional, and i feel i am in good hands or should i say teeth. :)
