I take alot of pride in being able to post a good review because I have to post SO MANY bad ones. The new owner of this business is a very respectful man that is just trying to make a small business flourish in today's economy. I was unloaded and on my way as quickly as possible and offered a 20% discount in his store. This man deserves the best reviews possible. Good luck with your business Mr. White. I hope you do well.

I love this store. They have everything from ketchup to couches. There is fresh produce and prepared food as well. The amazing part is the pricing though. Some prices are unbelievable and blow Amazon or Walmart out of the water. If you are on a budget, stop here first.

Great little store with friendly people. Being new to Vermont this place has great prices and I make the effort to go here as much as possible.

This ia a great place to buy discounted grocery along with many department store items, and the people are helpful and kind.

You can buy an entire red basket of expired food from the (large) back section of the store for only $2. If something you buy has gone bad, who cares! Everything is usually still fine, and it's a fun game. This is my favorite store and the only way I can keep my food bill so low each month.

Just bought a brand-new Canon Laser printer for half the price Walmart is charging for the same one. Great deals on food, too.

Great place to shop. Always check for deals once a week if possible. Always good service.

This store is great if you want to save money on foods they have a large array of canned goods and a wonderful meat and salad selection at their meat counter.fresh milk, bread and other products add to a great shopping experience. And if you need furniture and other household needs they have a selection of that too.

I have been going to this store for a few years now. Good place to get food at a cheap price with today's inflation.

My wife and I absolutely LOVE the "Vermont Discount Store" always our first place to look for ANYTHING... never know what you'll find in there.
Staff are wonderful, prices are competitive, and they actually care about there customers and not just a bottom line or money!

Lots of variety for great prices. Theres salads, veggies, deli meats and almost everything else a supermarket would have. They have an entire aisle for organic food with some really good options. They also sell nice furniture for a really great bargain.

Great experience so friendly and helpful its very home town feeling to it. They took a picture of my pup to put on there instagram. Very good prices you can always find a good deal. Would highly recommend

Visiting Discount Food of Rutland is always an adventure. One never knows what one may find there, other than friendly, helpful staff and a well-stocked deli. Check back often, as they get regular new shipments. If you do price comparisons with other stores, you can really save a lot of money here.

Assorted products including food, done clothing, kitchen Ware, furniture, pet supplies, cleaning products. Small deli and produce sections. Medicines and toiletries. Gluten free and organic products. They sell frozen meat and fresh dairy. Items reduced are close out, discontinued or short date.

This handy shop located in the suburbs of Rutland, advertises on facebook and uses daily specials to help people looking for deals. I was buying some candy corn for work for 3 for $1.00 when the clerk said they changed the deal to 4 for $1.00. A 33% deal! I found pants, a fleece jacket and plenty of snacks all in the same place. :)

Amazing variety of stock, well categorized and neatly shelved. Includes furniture with occasional high quality items Clean facility. Even has a small deli.
