Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

We stopped for breakfast on our way upstate for a long weekend. Everything was very good!!! The waitress reminded me of a waitress at home very polite and caring and just overall wanted to make us feel at home. The food was very good even though it was breakfast. The eggs were over medium like I ordered them. The hash Browns were browned to perfection, and the smoked sausage was very good. The bacon was cooked crisp but not too hard and had good flavor. I also had French toast with my eggs and meats. I forget the name of the meal I got , it came with 2 sausage links, a 6 I ch piece of smoked sausage cut long ways fried , 2 strips of bacon, 2 French toast an I ordered a side.of toast. It was $15.99, I believe. We had coffee, and they brought us our own pot to the table. Whe. We left, and we couldn't resist the mammoth muffins they were $3.49 a piece, and if you bought 3, you got 3 free, so of course, we had to get 3 and the 3 free 😉. They had all kinds of other pies and cheese cakes. We will be visiting Perkiins again next time we head upstate.

I absolutely enjoyed my pork chop dinner tonight. It was delicious. The staff are very friendly as well. Mr . Shaw is amazing and always polite. I would definitely recommend eating here.

Just went in for quick soup and salad after checking into nearby hotel, but server upsized my salad and gave me extra onions and dressing. When I told him I didn't have room for the dessert he offered, he brought a free piece of apple pie to take back to my hotel room. Sad that I didn't remember his name, but rest assured that I left a good tip for an inexpensive meal.

As someome who finds himself a patron of many restaurants across the United States. John is the one of the best waiters I have had in a long time. He makes a customer feel seen. He offered menue suggestions but didn't badger me once I had made up my mind. He kept my table clear of excess dishes, and checked in on me like clock work. If you can't tell I was very impressed with John. The food was very good aswell. One of the other guest commented thar his food was picture perfect and I must say I agree. Finally the prices were very good and the atmosphere was relaxing. I will definitely be recommending this fine establishment to my colleagues.

John our server was the absolute best of the best. They are so lucky to have him!!!lull It’s because of him I will patronize this location on Linglestown Rd exclusively.

Perkins is the ultimate family restaurant. We are always seated quickly, and the staffing is very accommodating. The food is usually served at the intended temperature and is satisfying.

Senior Specials. Breakfast served all day. I like their "Build Your Own" breakfast,especially their pancakes. Best coffee around, in my opinion.
I have signed up for their email club, so there are special coupons that I receive...one of which is BOGO Wednesday.
Their Roast Turkey Dinner is one of my favorites. I also like their Grilled Salmon. Their Pot Roast with homemade mashed potatoes is tasty as is another favorite.... Chicken Fingers Melt.

Was there yesterday (2/8) for dinner. Food was great, pies even better. Server was real sweet. Manager (Q-Zar) had to deal with an irrate customer arguing with him about prices of muffins, of all things. The manager was real calm and collected through the whole ordeal, even when the customer got a bit aggressive (leaning over the counter, getting a bit loud). I was impressed, he handled it really well. Give that man a raise.

Stopped on om my way from a doctor's appointment. I was right by the flyingJ. Very clean woth a good vibe. Staff was friendly and professional. I had the 3 pigs in a blanket with 2 eggs over mediim, a side og green beans and coffee with harsh brown. Very filling amd delicious. I don't go thst way often but I'm willing to male a couple trip back . Price was affordable

THE BEST the food was great out waitress Sue was even better. We will be back here. The steak and salmon both cooked to perfection

I'm not sure why this Perkins is extra good. Maybe it's approximity to a truck stop. I love the biscuits and gravy and of course the pie. The service is usually very good and fairly quick. Highly recommended for your journeys out to Central PA.

This place is the best I’m a trucker driven through all 48 states and sadly this is the only Perkins restaurant that has the best chefs and cool personalities; I started booking more of my loads in and out of Pennsylvania for two reasons, cigars and this restaurant

I came here for breakfast with my family. My food was delicious. I had the Belgian waffle with eggs and bacon. The server was very pleasant, and the atmosphere was cozy.

I’ve visited the 7833 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA location four times recently. The front end manager, host and the wait staff are among the most polite I’ve ever experienced. I travel extensively and dine out often. The crew at this restaurant location is top rate. The most recent wait staff was John. I’ve had a different person wait on my table at each visit. All of them are incredibly polite and absolutely fabulous. Please recognize this store location for the wonderful customer service. Thank you!
