This is a really cool place to visit! The museum has an amazing collection of Hershey history. They have a gift shop with a great selection of Hershey merchandise. The chocolate tasting was such a fun experience, it was definitely worth the little bit of extra money.

Very nice museum about the life of Milton Hershey. Lot of hands on type activities and things to touch, see, and listen to. The Chocolate Lad is woth the time to expirence. Our speaker did a great job and we got to make a bar of chocolate to take home with us.
It wasn't very crowed when we went do to a snow storm that was happening so I don't know how it would have been on a typical tourist day.
Everyone was very helpful and they paid attention to the visitors first. I felt like they wanted us to have the best visit ever!
Thank you Hershey Museum staff for making our vist pleasant.

I received the tickets for this through the Hershey lodge and it was a good time with my niece and daughter. We took part in the chocolate lab as well and had a blast in there. The coffee shop located in the museum building was also very good! I recommend going there over Starbucks located across the street.

Take a couple hours and enjoy! Highly recommend.

I love museums and those that tell a story. So much to do here. Chocolate tastings from around the world, chocolate lab - essentially hands on classes, and a whole lot of information. The Hershey’s did wonders for the area and it was pleasant being able to step back into their world and see how the famous chocolate did just that - become famous. We arrived at 2pm and were able to do chocolate tasting right away. Unfortunately, the chocolate lab classes weee already booked up. I would certainly do this again if I were back in the area.
Plenty of parking near the museum.

I dont know why Hersheys story is not in Hollywood or Netflix. Theyvneed to make a movie. With Tom Hanks. So much history that I didn't know existed. A lot of interesting information, great gift shop as well.

Very nice museum that has a lot of fascinating information about Hershey. There is a parking garage right behind the building so that is not an issue.

Highly Recommend …
✅Visit The Hershey Story Museum @the_hershey_story to learn about the rich history of Hershey, PA. I learned sooooo much!
✅Indulge in their tasting experience where you can sample chocolate from around the world.
✅Design your own Hershey candy bar wrapper.
✅Participate in a Chocolate Lab class where you get to learn more about cocoa beans 🫘 and make your own chocolate bar!

I know everyone doesn’t appreciate museums or history, but for me and what I love for our children is that it connects all the dots and makes the experience even better when you learn the “Why?” of where your at and what your doing.

Fantastic! We loved every minute here. Lots to read, watch & listen! With the added bonus of personalized interactions with several stations. Great for adults & families alike.

I'd recommend using your Time Travelers Pass because not only do they honor it but it makes it a FREE museum!

It was super fun and informative. The staff there is really knowledgeable. They have a few fun activities that you can take part in. Which makes it great for kids. The tour is self guided, which I really liked. There are a lot of fun items to see. Who knew there was so much history at Hershey? Really a great experience.

Learned a lot about Milton Hershey. The museum is laid out nicely and very informative. Nice gift shop and a small place inside to get something to drink and a tasty treat. They also have a chocolate lab where you make make a little something with chocolate. The staff are very friendly and the place is super clean.

This is a winner and we will return! It has been many years since I’ve been to the Hershey area and this was not here the last time we were. This museum tells the story of Milton Hershey in a clear and interesting way. The museum is interactive and engaging. The guides that are stationed throughout the museum are very helpful.

We also participated in the Chocolate Lab where we made truffles. Our teacher was a bit boring but the experience was worth it. We finished our visit in the gift store which had an interesting selection. I can’t wait to try my chocolate soap!

One important note for those of us that have limited mobility. There is an elevator and an easy to navigate museum. There are also ample benches throughout the museum to be able to enjoy the museum and be able to navigate comfortably. One problem I had was with the bathroom on the first floor. The handicap stall was not big enough to fit my walker. That was a challenge. However, they have a bathroom on the second floor that is handicap friendly. Also, I did not see handicap parking on the way in. We found a spot that was fairly close but it was a little awkward getting to the entrance.

We decided to come to The Hershey Story Museum when the rain forced us to come indoors and not be able to go to Hershey Park. Honestly I thought to myself, who would want to visit a boring chocolate museum? When I entered inside and walked around a bit, the museum was beyond my expectations. We had no waiting time since it seemed less busy than usual. I liked how they set up a system where you have to strategize to build a working chocolate factory (7th photo). It took 3 attempts until we finally got it and I really enjoyed it. I got to learn many things about Hershey that I didn’t know about before, and I suggest others to visit as it gives a good experience. I cant really say anything about staff since I didn’t have much interaction. Overall the place was very clean and well cared for. Will visit again!

Cleanness: 10/10
Experience: 10/10

It is a very nice, very clean museum. It is family friendly and the staff was all very pleasant and helpful! Took about 1.5-2 hours to walk thru the main exhibits. Allow for more time if doing the chocolate lab (which we did not do). There is a nice cafe on the lower level as well!

I was totally amazed at the impact Milton Hershey had on not only the town but several parts of the world. He built the city of Hershey, the orphanage, the houses the employees bought he even carried the loans. Donated his entire savings to the orphanage, built colleges...

The chocolate lab was fun too.

Great place for the whole family. Fun to learn about the story of Hershey and how the chocolate is made. Lots of interactive exhibits & we loved the chocolate lab where we made our own bars. We also had free admission due to staying in one of the Hershey resorts. A wonderful museum to visit.

Really interesting if you don't know his story. A quite man who really cared about kids but had none of his own. The museum has a chocolate tasting experience, highly recommend it, as you can taste the differences in the various chocolates from different places. The staff know the history well and are very kind and thoughtful.
