Devon Seafood & Steak

We arrived in Pennsylvania for a brief vacation, and this restaurant came highly recommended. We're delighted we chose to visit. The setting is exceptionally elegant, with a friendly hostess to welcome us. The food surpassed our expectations, with each dish being absolutely delicious. The overall experience was so enjoyable that we decided to make reservations for a return visit before concluding our trip back home.

Beautiful restaurant with good ambiance. The food consistency is top notch and it is always maintained. Pickup any food here and it will be delicious - no doubt. The best in town, amazing service. Highly recommended.

My husband and I tried Devon during our 19th stay at the Hotel Hershey. We'd always heard good things about it, and since it was a Monday night and a lot of restaurants were closed, we gave it a shot, and we're glad we did. Our server Cristina was friendly and knowledgeable and the food and drinks were excellent. We shared the crabcake appetizer, and for dinner, I had the salmon with green beans and Yukon gold potatoes, and the filet mignon with crabcake and mashed potatoes for my husband. We drank margaritas and Jack + Pepsi - just as tasty as the food. We were very pleased all around and definitely recommended!

OMG where do I begin! Josh, Josh, Josh. He was not just our waiter, he was an amazing experience conductor for the night. We were celebrating our gorgeous friend and he and other staff went above and beyond to make it a grand celebration. The food was exceptional 👌🏽 cooked to perfection. Josh and the young man that helped him, the private room, the food and drinks, just everything about the night was just the epitome of great service. This amazingly epic experience definitely goes down in the record books.

We dined at this restaurant years ago for a special occasion and absolutely loved it, just didn’t have a chance to return until recently. Dined here twice in the past month. In all honesty I was pleasantly surprised that it has kept the same level of service and quality post pandemic, because most other places (even if up scale) haven’t. Everything from drinks to food and service was wonderful. Make a reservation if you plan to go, because this place is busy. Which again, speaks volumes given that it’s not an average place.

Arrived shortly after opening. Waited less than 5 minutes to be seated. Beautiful decor and very nice atmosphere. On to the food. White cheddar and black pepper biscuits with maple syrup & sea salt butter. EXCELLENT ! Dinner was Chilean sea bass with grilled wild mushrooms and lobster Mac and cheese. By the Gods, what magic this place produces !!!!! Wait staff was informative and patient. Food was served promptly and almost perfectly prepared. Flavors were subtle, flavors were pronounced and running wild. It was truly an epicurean experience fit to repeat time and again. The drinks were excellent and made with all fresh fruit. My wife’s ribs were disintegrating off the bone not just falling off the bone. I haven’t gotten the bill yet, I don’t care what the bill is. I know it will be “pricey”. We are already planning bringing people back in another 2 weeks or so. It’s worth it !

Inside the restaurant really has a fancy, friendly atmosphere! Mom and I came here this evening for dinner before going to a show, fantastic food! Some of the menu seafood selection had unique courses. I ordered a beverage of a s’mores martini and for the course: a grilled swordfish with the sides of yukon gold potato fries and the lobster mac n’ cheese. All of them were great! Including the service! Will be returning for special occasions.

This was my third time eating at Devon in Hershey and I was not disappointed. Devon offers a great variety of seafood and steak, but I would highly recommend the seafood. All of it is flown in fresh, and you can taste the difference. I ordered the blackened ahi tuna steak and it was a mouthwatering experience. Best ahi tuna, I’ve ever had. This place is 1000% worth the price.

I was enthused with this restaurant! Parking was fairly easy, with a parking garage out back behind the restaurant. The entrance to Devons is actually through the Houlihans entrance. The atmosphere inside was gorgeous, perfect for our celebration! The service was PHENOMENAL. We were waited on quickly, got our drinks, appetizer, and food in less than an hour of our reservation time. Our server was so nice and helpful for us first timers at the restaurant to delve into the menu. We shared the sangria, which was amazing, nice and icy cold on a hot day-not too sweet. They started us off with free biscuits, which were nice and buttery and a perfect start to the meal. We got the fried calamari as an appetizer, which came with two sauces. The calamari itself was encapsulated in such a flaky and light breading. The calamari was nice and tender, not tough like you find elsewhere. I got the swordfish, which tasted okay. It tasted like a steak, but I happened to be craving a fishy taste today which was slightly disappointing. However, if you're craving steak, this would be an excellent flaky choice. I did wish It would've come with some sort of sauce to lighten it up a bit. My fiance got the seafood mixed grill to get a sample of everything. This also came with two sauces. The salmon was similar to the swordfish and tasted like a steak. The crab cake was FILLED with crab, and flavored amazingly. The shrimp had a nice kick to it and was cooked perfectly. There were only two scallops, but they were perfectly cooked and had a beautiful seasoning. Next, sides. The lobster Mac and cheese wasn't as cheesy as I would've hoped but had a good amount of lobster. The carrots were phenomenal, a beautiful mix of heat and sweet. The lemon asparagus risotto was nice and creamy. The mashed potatoes were skin on, and was a great foundation for the dish. Overall, an excellent meal, but pretty expensive. We came here for a celebratory dinner and would probably keep it only to special occasions.

Visited Hershey, PA and decided to take my family out for a nice dinner. Devon's Seafood & Steak was 10/10 for both the quality of food and the quality of service. Starting off with service - our waitress was friendly and gave us wonderful suggestions on the appetizers and entrees that we ordered. The food we got was both great in quantity and quality. For appetizers we got - fried calamari and sweet chili cauliflower with a spicy aioli sauce. The fried calamari had fried carrots and jalapenos. The cauliflower was my favorite with the perfect amount of spice. For my meal, I had the Surf and turf combo - seared Barramundi and 8oz steak with a side of lemon asparagus risotto and broccolini. The steak was cooked perfectly to a medium well done and the fish practically melted in my mouth. The risotto was quite tasty and broccolini was sauteed with garlic. 100% recommend the surf and turf combo.

Edit as of November 2023. Everything was just as good as the first. Definitely recommend the mushroom risotto. Best side in my opinion!

Beautiful spot, I almost thought they had a dress code that's how luxury it felt eating here. The waitress was amazing. So sweet and explained the menu perfectly which I enjoyed. Food was spectacular. We had the kids or I'm sure a nice glass of wine would have went perfect 😉 BUT I asked them to make me a mocktail explained what I wanted and got exactly what I asked for. The kids loved it and the kids menu was also amazing 👏 so many options. Price was fair for what you get. The flavors come in waves which is super fun. Bathrooms clean. Romantic, clean, laid back, cozy, this is definitely a spot for an anniversary or special occasion. But they welcomed us after a long day at hershey smelling like sunblock and walking clothes. No judgement everyone was nice and welcoming.

My wife ad I were in Hershey to see the band Chicago at the Hershey Theater. We decided on Devon Seafood & Steak. We were seated promptly and our server Greg N. arrived shortly after. Greg introduced himself took drink orders and then did an excellent job explaining the menu options. We decided on a colossal shrimp cocktail and the mini Maine lobster rolls as our starters. My wife had the salmon as her main with asparagus and lobster Mac and cheese as her sides. I had a surf and turf with an 8oz fillet and an 8 oz lobster as my main with asparagus and the apple and celery root slaw as my sides. We ended the night by sharing a crème brûlée for dessert. This is the best meal we have had in years. Our server Greg is a seasoned server and provided the perfect amount of attention. We highly recommend this establishment.

Highly recommend! My wife and I are regular Hershey visitors, to the Hotel Hershey and have tried many restaurants in town, this was our first visit to Devon's. It won't be our last! Terrific dinner, our server Cristina was very attentive and efficient. My wife had the salmon with Yukon potatoes which she said was some of the best tasting salmon she's ever had. I had the surf & turf with a filet mignon & crab cake. Being a Marylander, the best are made in Maryland with Old Bay, yet these didn't, but were GREAT. They were lump crab with a really good tartar/spice dipping sauce. Surprisingly delicious! The atmosphere was cozy and dimly lit for a romantic date night or quiet dinner. Do yourself a favor when you visit Hershey, visit Devon's for dinner!

One of our favorite restaurants in the area. Seafood is great but the char crusted strip is one of the best steaks I've ever had. Drinks are fun and tasty. Service is phenomenal.

Some might not even give this a shot because of the price, but let me tell you that this is definitely worth it. First of all, the beauty of the restaurant was amazing. Very clean, well lit, and luxurious interior. Food was just top-notch. I had the swordfish with lobster Mac and cheese with risotto. Perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Also had a delicious coconut rum cocktail to go with it. Overall, it was a great experience.

Dustin was our waiter with Bryonna and the service was superb. Friendly, great suggestions and just the right amount of attention. Calamari w/carrots straws and the lobster bisque were delightful. My new favorite fish is Halibut after having it at Devons. The risotto and apple slaw was perfect side's. My husband had the seafood grill and was very pleased with the light blackened option. Dustin suggested a nice pinot grigio which was spot on. Highly recommend for a relaxing dinner with a beautiful atmosphere.

Went here for my birthday the other day, first timer, I got the Barramundi along with the Cauliflower and Lobster Mac...everything was to die for! For Dessert, I got the Hershey's Chocolate Velvet Cake which I needed to bring home also! Thank you Devon's for being a big part of my birthday!

This is an excellent restaurant. I had a Salmon entree and he had chicken. The portions were generous and the food was seasoned and prepared perfectly. The server was cheerful, polite and helpful. The atmosphere was posh and romantic. We were very happy with the entire experience.

The surf and turf with scallops and the ribeye was delish! 😋 I couldn't finish half of it because the appetizers were awesome!
