Great experience! Our Boy Scout Troop visited for a Geology Merit Badge which was expertly facilitated by Mike. The course included the boys screening for and identifying minerals. The visit ended with a guided tour led by Mike through Indian Echo Cavern. The cavern is beautiful inside and the history Mike shared kept our entire party interested. Great place for families, educational/home school and scout trips. Looking forward to visiting again!

I went here in 2022 with my significant other and my service dog, Marli. Needless to say - we had an amazing time. This was shortly after everything in Pennsylvania was starting to reopen, so our group was smaller. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and very engaging with all of us in the group. Absolutely a very positive experience. I will absolutely be back to Indian Echo Caverns and I recommend it to anyone looking for something new to do in the area.

I'm not sure why there are so many 1-Star reviews. One review in particular mentions that he was not allowed to record inside the cavern and got 'yelled at' for attempting to. The website even states that no cameras (with flash photography) or camcorders (Video recording devices) are allowed.

Also, I see a lot of complaints about the ticket prices - look, we are all struggling in our own ways but if you are unhappy about the ticket prices, then don't go. If you do your research (or even call) You are aware of the costs of tickets. And to the other reviewer who complained about the price being different online and her forgetting her wallet back in New York.... that is not the fault of the employees that you forgot your wallet. Also - for many events and locations, especially some aquariums, gate prices typically cost more.

Anyway - in conclusion, I had an incredible experience and I have been to several caves and caverns before. (Including Mammoth Cave). I truly loved this experience and I wish more people knew about this location!

It's super pretty here! The cave stays at a constant 52° fahrenheit all year long so bring a jacket. Our tour guide was super funny and informative. We caught a guide after all the kids did so it wasn't too loud. It was easy to purchase tickets and schedule our tour time with plenty of things to do and look at in the meantime. If you are claustrophobic there is only one small section of the tour and you are not forced to go through that part, you can wait until the tour finishes that section. The rest of the tour is very open.

This was a pleasant experience to go underground into the caverns, went with our young kids (4,7) and even they enjoyed it. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and even fun and engaging with the kids while also throwing a lot of historical facts and information. The whole tour took over an hour because we took our time at each stop in the caverns. It's chilly so bring a sweater. Outside of the caverns the place itself has farm animals a small playground and birds for the kids to enjoy, the farmer even had our kids feed the goats and lamas.

You must go if you're near Hershey! We came to Hershey for the chocolate experience and left in awe at the magnificent caverns we experienced here. Very affordable tour, our guide Michael was a gem and full of knowledge about these caves and the area surrounding them. There are also beautiful places to enjoy a picnic, an aviary, petting area and mining available. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here!! Thank you.

Visited with my family. It was a great experience for our first time doing anything like this, perhaps because our tour size was small (6 people total). It was amazing to see what was underground - my kids were amazed (ages 7 & 9) great stories & guide. We ended up getting the kids a bag of sand to wash through outside. They ended up with some rocks, coins and an arrowhead. Great experience & would recommend if you're looking for a unique family experience without the hustle & bustle of Hershey Park.

If you are going to Hershey and have an extra day, this is a must see destination. The price was decent for the amazing experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and prioritized our safety while in the caverns. The caverns are beautiful, well lit and well preserved. No touching is allowed. Outside the Caverns, there are animals you can pet and feed. The gift shop is huge with lots of goodies for everyone. I highly recommend this spot if you like to explore and are looking for something different.

The pictures I have posted DO NOT do this cavern justice! It was so amazing to walk through and see what nature has created. My 6 year old loved it, and even my 18 month old was completely fascinated by the sights! There is also fun stuff to do outside of the tour; gem mining, playground, and small little petting zoo. Definitely worth the trip!

The cavern tour was very interesting thanks to the tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and made it enjoyable. The gift shop was clean, and the items were displayed nicely. The restrooms were clean and stocked. My grandkids had a blast feeding the animals, playing in the playground, and panning for semi-precious stones.

This place was amazing. While waiting for our tour there were many things to do. They had a playground for kids, goats and alpacas to feed and you could buy a small sack of sand with gems in it to sift in water like a gold miner. The tour was great and out tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Very beautiful place. On the spot you need to buy a guided tour of the cave. The cost of adult ticket-$24.50 (12-60 years old), children-$12.50 (2-11 years old). The cave is very beautiful and you don't have to wear a sweater. There is a playground and a small zoo

The Indian Echo Caverns were an awesome uniquely beautiful experience. Much knowledge shared and absorbed! There is so much to do and explore. The gift shop, panning for rocks and gems, feeding the animals, watching the birds, seeing the river, viewing the gorgeous scenery around the area, and walking through the caverns with the personable and funny guide! I love that there is plenty of parking, clean restrooms, benches to sit, hand sanitizer stations, and friendly staff. Definitely a place to stop when travelling through the area!

Great experience if you’re in the area. Two adults and two kids cost less than $90. Gift store was actually reasonably priced.
