We have always enjoyed going to chocolate world with the kids and a lot of times we go as a treat one on one before or after doctors appointments - today we were not disappointed! One of the best parts of going in January on an afternoon is that typically there are no lines - today mt youngest had a great time, he liked the singing cows and the factory portion where the chocolate was being mixed as a liquid and seeing all of the chocolate types on the conveyors- the best part he says was eating the chocolate sample - plenty of parking today, no crowds, for me the adult it was a great win! There are many other activities in chocolate world but we typically keep our special doctor trip outings short and sweet 😉

We were concerned with doing this instead of Hershey Park because the kids are 10 & 12 but we weren't sure we wanted to spend a day at a theme park since we live in Orlando.

DO IT, BUY THE TICKETS. We took an epic vacation, NYC at Christmas, three days in Hershey, and Philly for New Years and the kids STILL say the day spent at Hershey Chocolate World was the best day of the trip. They liked all of the options as we did the big bundle but the build your own chocolate bar was the best one hands-down. The historically trolley was probably the biggest letdown, but we did that for Dad anyways ;)

Yes, it's a big store. Yes, it's expensive. But if you go in knowing that and do all the activities they have to offer, it's SO SO worth it. Pro tip: buy your tickets online. We got the bundle for $45 a person due to a coupon code and people were buying them for $78 in store!!!

Our visit to Hershey’s Chocolate World provided an engaging and interactive experience that exceeded our expectations. The opportunity to participate in the chocolate-making process offered a unique, hands-on learning experience. We were able to design our own chocolates and observe the intricate process of chocolate production, which was both educational and entertaining.

In addition to the chocolate-making experience, Hershey’s Chocolate World also offers a variety of mini rides. These attractions added an element of amusement to our visit, enhancing the overall experience.

The extensive range of merchandise available caters to the tastes of all chocolate and candy enthusiasts. The selection is vast and diverse, ensuring that there is something to suit everyone’s preferences.

In conclusion, Hershey’s Chocolate World offers a comprehensive experience that combines education, entertainment, and shopping. It is a destination that we would highly recommend to others.

Hershey's Chocolate World in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, offers a delightful experience for chocolate lovers and families alike. The tour is both educational and entertaining, showcasing the fascinating journey of cocoa beans into Hershey's famous chocolate. Interactive exhibits and the aroma of chocolate fill the air, creating a memorable sensory experience. The gift shop is a highlight, featuring a vast array of Hershey's products, including some exclusive items. The staff is friendly and the facility is well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant visit. While it's more commercial than educational, it's a must-visit for anyone who loves chocolate and wants a fun, lighthearted excursion

Fantastic place to visit with your kids!
Entry is free and there is a free tour ride that is interesting and fun while being appropriate for all ages.

Plenty of food options! Recommend that you eat your meal in Chocolate World’s cafeteria area instead of the Park. Food is better priced and tasting in chocolate world.

Cupcakes were definitely on the dry-side and needed the filling. Chocolate coffee with sweet foam was tasty! S’more’s were a lot of messy fun to eat!

Recommended for the whole family

Very fun place. My kids (10,3,3) loved the make the candy bar activity, the free tour, and the candy cinema. They didn’t like the tasting show (kinda boring). The prices of stuff was fair in my opinion

We did a virtual train experience and then the make your own candy bar.
-->** It was by far the best overpriced chocolate bar I've ever spent money on.... not even for the taste... but for the experience.**
Getting to choose type and ingredients, then to watch it go through production was amazingly satisfying! And seemed to be just as amazing for my children(10 & 12) who were in awe of the machines and their ability to be a part of the process, hair net, and apron included!!
We enjoyed the huge gift shop/Hersheypark mall as well. We recommend the giant pretzel, it was phenomenal!!

We had a fun time here. Easy to find, easy to park. We did the free tour ride, we both built our own chocolate bar, my husband got his own huge stuffed reeses, did the trolley tour through town and of course shopped! Fun selection of items to look through. Definitely a must stop if you're in the area!

Visited on 9/29 and expected this place to be jam packed because we came to Hershey for the Red Hot Chili Peppers and expected everyone else to be at Hershey world but it wasn’t full at all and there wasn’t a wait to do anything. We loved the shop and all the different variety of things you could buy and candies you can’t find elsewhere, very fairly priced if you compare the same thing to grocery store/gas station prices! The food stations had great options as well, we did the stuff your cup and it was amazing. I loved the hot cocoa and they give you a Hershey chocolate after you get off the tour ride. No cost to enter the building, the tour is free but everything else you have to pay for.

Great place for a party. We mingled in a private room and could take pictures with a giant Hershey bar, took the tour, decorated a big cookie, colored, and had a yummy lunch and excellent dessert. The store was fun. Photos with Santa and the Grinch. I will say, the staff was struggling to keep up with the massive crowds. Finding a place to sit to eat was difficult and gross. Thank goodness I had sanitizing wipes to clean our table. The picture of the floor is how it looked all over the eating area -floors, table tops, and chairs covered with grime and debris.

Went here for the make your own chocolate bars. The kids enjoyed it,but it is pricey. Lots of stuff to get in their sop and great to learn of their history. It was better when I was a kid, but still something for kids to learn about.

The best word to describe this destination is !WOW!
Yes you can spend a lot of money to stay at the hotel, tour the gardens, take bus and tram tours, build a peanut butter cup or a one of a kind chocolate bar, even buy tickets for a main act in the large theater. But mainly, walk around. Take the free factory tour about the history of Hershey and the future legacy. Take time to see, hear and smell the steps they take to mass produce a consistent product on a real cool ride (and get a FREE chocolate bar at the end) and talk to the workers (often very well trained challenged young people with VERY POSITIVE attitudes) THAT is the real reason for the Success of this brand.
Yea, buy some souvenirs (food and non food) have sweet and savory lunch (even a beer or wine is available) and just soak up the atmosphere. During the week (especially in fall) the crowd is manageable.

So much fun!!! It's great to have a wonderful place to take a child or your inside child to; it's free to park, free to enter, free ride on how Hershey makes their chocolate and free to explore all options of Hershey candy!! We absolutely loved going here. Spent almost 3 hours, bought a few exclusive flavor Hershey bars and specialty items. Enjoyed a delicious baked cookie and also an adult beverage. There's something for everyone!

We were having fun there!

It's free to enter Hershey's Chocolate World. The parking was free as well. They had a ride to show the procedures of chocolate making, and it's free, too. They did have some activities that cost money, and we did not pay for any, but we were still having fun.

It's cool to walk around to look at all the candies and souvenirs. We had the milksakes there, and they looked nice.

It's nice to walk outside to take some pictures with the characters' statues.

We also walked to Hershey's Park souvenirs store. There were a lot of souvenirs.

I am happy that we stopped by there to visit!

We attended the Hershey's chocolate tour for free. There, first you get acquainted with the exposition, and then they take you in cars and show you the technological process. The line moves quickly and the tour is not tiring. They give you free chocolate on the way out. Hershey products can be purchased in the sales area. You can make your own chocolate for a fee. Very beautiful place, you can take unique family photos. We come for the second time - an ideal getaway for the whole family

I dont have any plan after Christmas. However, my kids wanted to go somewhere. My wife found online 50% off due to 50th anniversity of Hershey's. Just chocolate town is free to enter but you need to 4 tickets for 4 places to see the shows. On trolley, I think it depends on how guido do, I learned about Herseys a lot.
It was fun!
