Johnny Boys Pancake House

We were in the area on our honeymoon, we had breakfast one Monday 10/9 and then stopped on our way home 2 days later for breakfast again. They're closing but the food was delicious, glad we got the experience of such a wonderful place.

Coffee is hot and delicious. Wait staff is always prepared with a refresher. Atmosphere is playfully nostalgic and yet homey. Food was prompt and hot. I got the Philly cheese omelette which a "regular" recommended. I am SO glad I took that recommendation, so I pass it along to you. You're welcome. 😉 Grandfather got waffles which he said were delicious.

First visit: The food was excellent and we had a server who was probably the best I'd ever had in my life. I wish I could remember her name. We had a country omelette, maple crunch pancakes, and sausages. Of course, real maple syrup too!

Second visit: much the same as the first. Excellent food and service. This time we had the banana walnut pancakes and a "gut buster". I really think everything here is good!

Third visit: Can confirm. This place is always great! It's now a "must stop" every time I'm in the area which needs to be more 4 times a year so I can eat here more. Thanks everyone at Johnny Boys!

Fourth visit: same as always!

Visited Johnny Boy's Pancake House for breakfast, and we were impressed! The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, the service was prompt and friendly, and the ambiance was cozy. It's definitely a local gem worth visiting.

Definitely recommend the pork roll sandwich, real authentic New Jersey sandwich!! We also got a short stack of pancakes and they genuinely were the best pancakes I’ve ever had. Our waitress was super friendly and welcoming too- definitely planning on returning!

The food here was phenomenal! The maple sausage waffle was crispy and amazing! The maple mascarpone French toast was decadent and delightful. The sausage gravy was full of flavor and the biscuit was tender and just perfect. The staff was quite responsive and attentive. This was the best breakfast meal I have had in a long time!

This place is a great pre ski breakfast stop. Service was quick, coffee kept flowing, and food was solid. Would definitely return. Had the homemade corned beef hash and I cannot complain. Great portion as well.

Entered a man address in maps for a different restaurant, and it brought us here. We definitely weren’t disappointed! Very busy place, but they were quick to seat us. We opted to sit at the counter. Hubby got the house omelette. I got the Mexican scramble. Our waitress Toni said that’s what she gets & felt it was the best thing on the menu. It was delicious! Hubby’s omelette was amazing as well. Portions are enormous. We couldn’t finish them. Service was great!! If we are in the Rutland area, they will be our go-to!

Delicious pancake house. They of course provide real Vermont maple syrup and Cabot whipped cream that seals the deal on their pancakes. Definitely worth a stop in for a good hearty breakfast!

WOW ! Amazing food. Quick service. The omelets are the largest I've ever had. We both ordered an omelet but could easily have split one. The omelets have filling in every bite. Not your typical omelet. I had the 5 mushroom omelet with bacon and sausage in it. My partner had the pastromi reubin. Both were excellent. But required doggy boxes because we couldn't finish.

Stopped here while traveling through but will definitely plan our future trips to stop here again.

Johnny Boys Pancake House is by far our favorite place to eat breakfast which is our favorite meal to go out to a restaurant for!!! Superb food and I always have left-overs for the next day because their portions are so generous!! The staff is super friendly and although we usually have a wait time, it is SURE worth it!!!!!! The only thing I noticed was that their take-out containers were made from styrofoam which is not environmentally friendly.

Johnny Boys food and service are definitely top notch. Every food item that we have received is high quality and delicious. The energy there is incredible & laid back. Thank you so much!

We had breakfast here on Sunday and it was delicious! The staff was great. Seeing the owners work and smile and listen was refreshing. We had 7 people at our table and we all left smiling and full!

Stopped in for lunch but we all got breakfast. Food was really good and service was great as well. It was very busy but the staff did a good job turning over tables quickly. I had amaretto French toast and it was delicious. Friends had banana pancakes and the Irish poached eggs; all of us were very happy with our meals.

First time eating at this favorite spot amongst Rutland locals. I was very impressed by the quality of the food and service. I'll definitely return.

The food was delicious, the service was great and the ambiance very entertaining. The signs that were posted throughout the restaurant were hilarious. Definitely a must visit if you are in Killington, Vermont or its vicinity.

Lobster omelettes are back! Waited years to see them on the menu again and was pleasantly surprised that they are as good as we always remembered them to be. Thank you Johnny Boys!
