Shear Heaven Salon & Day Spa

This was my first time at Shear Heaven and my stylist was Maggie. I wanted to try something new with my hair and she was so on board. I loved the color and cut and the environment is warm and friendly. I thought the price for services was very fair. I got bangs and a color and Maggie did an excellent job. Would recommend!

I just moved to the area and found Shear Heaven on the internet. I was a bit nervous going in because my appointment was to correct both color and cut, and the only thing I knew about the salon was that it was close to my job. Maggie listened to my thoughts and did an amazing job!! I haven't been this happy with my hair in years! They have a customer for life. I highly recommend this salon and Maggie :)

Love this place! I go here for waxing services and they always fit me in when I need to be seen. The young lady (with the tattoos, I unfortunately can’t remember her name), is friendly and super sweet, and makes you feel comfortable and at ease, even when you know you’re about to have your lady bits ripped off your body (IYKYK).

I’ll never go anywhere else. Thank you, Shear Heaven!

I came in to see Maggie today and she did an amazing job with my hair. I’m always very nervous about getting my hair cut as it’s extremely curly but she knew exactly what to do and it came out gorgeous. I highly suggest if you need anything to come in and see Maggie she does great work and is great to talk with!!

EXCELLENT WORK FROM CARING PROFESSIONALS: I am in town helping my parents as they deal with late stage Alzheimer’s and a broken hip. I left my home in the south and drove north without being able to see my own stylist. I called Shear Heaven based on their excellent Google reviews and wasn’t disappointed. Jackie was compassionate and I suspect made time for me in a busy schedule because of my situation. I’m so grateful for her kindness and generosity and my hair looks awesome which helps me feel better, even thought the days are pretty rough. She toned down my worn out blonde and freshened my cut. I’m here long enough that I’ll be back before returning home. Thank you again!

Jackie is absolutely amazing! Lady’s I have never in my life been able to walk out of a salon and be completely (not just satisfied) but astounded at the out come of my hair! Jackie’s salon is very professional and the customer service is out of this world! I will never let any one ever touch my hair again if it’s not Jackie! She also is rated top 75 in all of New England in hair color! You will love the out come.

I love the atmosphere; It’s such a relaxing, welcoming place, and Jaime is absolutely amazing! Whether I have something specific in mind, or I need her expert advice, I always love how my hair comes out. She also gives the best massages when she’s shampooing my hair. Everyone there is friendly and knowledgeable, and they provide an all around great experience every time.

Jackie is an amazing hairstylist and skin care specialist. She does an excellent job with my perm which is often confused for natural curls. She gives the best pedicures and has been voted “Best of the Best” Colorist for 9 years running. I recommend her for your hair, skin and nail needs.

I absolutely love my haircut. Jaime cut my hair and did an amazing job! I will recommend her to all my friends and family! She was very friendly and paid a lot of attention to detail! I especially enjoyed the massage when I was getting my hair shampooed! I would give 10 stars if I can. Best place to cut hair in Rutland!

I have been going here for a few years now and I have never been happier with my hair. Jackie always takes time to teach you different techniques that she’s learned and to share hair care advice. She’s hilarious to chat with and everyone always compliments me on my color. I always say, “Go see Jackie, she’s AMAZING”. I wouldn’t know what to do if Jackie were ever to stop doing hair!

I love going to Shear Heaven - Abbey is absolutely terrific! After having long hair my whole life, I decided to go short. This was slightly terrifying since I was also a new client and never had short hair.... I took leap of faith and never looked back, all thanks to Abbey's talent & understanding of my hair's texture & thickness. And as far as coloring goes, I travel an hour one way just to come here. She is THAT good! The entire staff has been nothing short of fantastic. Oh, and there's wine.

My favorite salon in Vermont, I have been a client for 5 years. This is my longest relationship with a hairdresser! Jackie does a fantastic job and I always leave looking and feeling great. I love the monthly specials and quality of service. Highly reccomend!

I cannot say enough positive things about this place. The ladies are absolutely wonderful and Jackie is a friggen hoot. I haven’t had a haircut for over two years and she took amazing care of my precious locks! I’ll definitely be back and couldn’t be happier that I finally found a salon to return to ☺
