Middletown Free Library

Excellent library with a great video and book collection for all ages! My child and I had a great time playing with the toys!

Very new library in an unused school building. Great childtes progrming. Many programs for adults too. It is part of the County library system and so has access to a huge catalog. Very helpful librarians too.

Ambitiously redesigned and modernized in a new space, this building is an important resource for the community. To me, the hand carved front desk speaks to the pride and commitment which has fueled this upgraded library, which is freshly opened and still getting it’s finishing touches. It will have a great future and enrich many lives. The old Roosevelt School has been preserved and physically connects to the new library building, successfully blending the old with the new. Worth a visit soon!

I love the people who work here and of course the variety of books they have to borrow. MFL also has the most programs offered to the public (for both adults and children) that I have ever seen and I have taken advantage of many of the free zoom lectures recently about local history and folklore. Coming to this library is such a lovely experience!

The librarians were so friendly and informative. My trio had fun building with Legos and I enjoyed catching up on some reading😊 it is a great place to bring your kids for a fun afternoon. They have a variety of kids toys, computer games and of course loads of their favorite books!

This is one if my favorite libraries! They do have a wide variety of books, but they don't have many for teens. They do have a section labeled K-8, but those books are mainly for 5th graders. However, thry do a good adult variety, which I like. As of the last time I went there, they were collecting Media Food Bank donations. Overall, a very good library but with limited selections for kids over 12.

Thank you for opening and providing a safe and friendly environment during this pandemic. I can order my books online and pick them up at my convenience. In addition. I enjoy the 2 shelves up front with new releases in both fiction and non-fiction.

Love this library. My favorite. Great selection of books for all ages. Lots of awesome clubs and activitys for all ages, not just kids. The building is very well organized. Librarians are very friendly and helpful. Love to go to this place, would highly recommend

Initially, I was unable to find this library using google maps and it was taking me to Middletown Fire Company. Called Library and they told to put WaySide Market and the Library is just in front of this market. Thanks to the Library attendant..Otherwise, this is a great library..!
