We are moving into a new house in Smyrna and were shocked when an electrician said he smelled gas in our basement coming from the new water heater. We could not get in touch with the company who installed it so we tried Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in hopes of getting same day service. They sent Matt out to our house promptly and he was able to diagnose the problem and give us a quote to fix several issues that he found. The price was fair so we accepted, and he had everything he needed on his truck so he did the job right away. We were extremely impressed with Matt’s work and relieved that the gas leak was taken care of. He was professional and explained everything that he was doing. If we have plumbing or gas line issues in the future, we would absolutely have Matt out again as we were 100% happy with his work and service. Thank you for coming to our rescue!
ETA: Not long after my previous review, we had a new problem with our shower drainpipe dripping water into our basement. Benjamin Franklin sent Shawn out to our house in less than 24 hours, and he did a great job fixing the problem (which turned out to be more involved than we thought it would be). The plumbers from this company are fast and reliable!

Michael not only detected my problem in no time, he educated me on my issue and what to look out for to prevent future problems, which I really appreciated. I have got a very tough clog in kitchen sink pipe, I have treated pipe with chemicals and use my plumbing snake for a day, and hired a plumber (other company, they come right away) to solve the problem, but nothing changed, today, Michael came and have done a wonderful job, my comment to him: professional, good work ethic, polite, full of sense of humor, I will look for help from Ben Franking Plumbing in future and definitely will recommend to friends. We first dealt with Chad when he helped install a water heater on our home. He is great. Today he came to check out basement sun pump. He was thorough and took time to explain the system to us. We always have great service from Ben Franklin and today was no exception. We would not trust anyone else to tend to our plumbing needs.

Very impressed with my experience with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. After finding water under my sink, I called and got a quick appointment, was told when they'd be there. Chad explained what caused the leak, fixed it promptly and offered solutions for any future problem.

Very pleased with their service! They were able to come out within a couple hours of calling them. They had to replace the well pump at my 82 year old mother's house and did not leave until the job was done. They came back the next day to check in on things and changed the water filter. We will definitely use them again when needed!
