Deals Variety Store

Giving five stars for the best place to buy Christmas greeting cards and holiday cards! I confess I did not look closely at the rest of the store as I was in awe of the greeting card selection and value. There were dozens of different greeting cards available, most of them in boxes, and at fantastic prices. I scored a 20-card set of large full-color cards from Peter Pauper's Press featuring a polar bear on a navy and white background of snow and multi-colored ornaments and silver metal trim for only $6.99. Just gorgeous. Other cards were selling for even less for 20 cards. Also bought two more boxes of greeting cards as they were irresistible! If you love holiday greeting cards you must stop by.

They always have what we need, in a pinch. The hardware section is a lot more robust than I would’ve thought. You can do a lot of basic household maintenance with the supplies they offer.

I hope they never close. The prices are a bit higher than you might find in a legit hardware store but the convenience makes up for it. We are able to walk here instead of driving to Ace in Media/Aston or Lowe’s in Brookhaven.

I love Deals! The best “we’ve got everything” store this side of a large Woolworth’s from back in the day (which it used to be many years ago). From hardware items to toys you’ll likely find whatever you need here. I always look forward to shopping here!

They have a little of everything and it’s hard to walk in without a kind greeting. If I ever have to get something quick I’d much rather go here than one of the soulless alternatives :)

It's one of those neat places to walk around you can always find something you need. The day I was there I found Furniture scratch remover, and it really works $1.79

I just moved here in media the ladies that work at this store are wonderful

I've been visiting either of the two stores on a regular basis. It's one of the perks of living in Media, PA, that one can walk to the store instead of driving.
Now that Deal’s is extending its hours to match evening events such as Dining Under the Stars on State Street in Media Borough, I will have more time to buy that perennial last-minute item and still walk to the corner Deals at State and Olive to check out the hilarious sayings on the coasters and cocktail napkins. Last time I did this I thought I was in Per Lei Boutique when I caught sight of a stylish woman’s spring outfit on display.

A gem! They don’t make them like this anymore. It has everything you need for less than what you would pay elsewhere.

Who knew that a local variety store could have so many things? My next stop would’ve been the big chain store, but I found everything I needed right here.

I was there yesterday with my daughter and son in law who live close by.
This store took me way back. The narrow wood floors reminded me of a Woolworth's I used to go to as a little girl. The assortment of household items was enormous.
Really enjoyed our visit.

Great atmosphere, home town friendly, great prices as and they even have carts for kid!

Haven't been there in 2yrs till last week, had to go, so only a few minutes there. In the past visits, retro style store, like shopping when I was a kid. Good variety of items.

Quirky, old style, a good place to find things at a good price. Fun to browse.

Anything and everything one could need from hardware to toys to groceries to paint. A good old fashioned general store. I think it used to be a Woolworths. Still has the old hard wood floors. Prices are great. The staff can tell you exactly where to find everything.

It's an old-fashioned general store, like Woolworth's used to be. Wooden floors, old building, very nice employees, and they sell everything except greeting cards, office supply, etc......as there's a separate Deal's Stationery store a block away.

This store is a throwback to the old time general store and the old 5 and 10 cent stores. They have gardening supplies, toys, tools, hardware, household supplies, kitchen utensils, bake-ware, a key making machine, candy, nonprescription medicines, lawn decorations, candles... All at low prices, truly a treasure

Store reminds me kinda like the old 5 & Dime's/hardware store.large selection of just about everything you may need.Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly.I would recommend giving this store a look see.👍👍

It's always been a nice place to go when I come out to Media it gives or has that country store effect I love the wooden floors I love the fact that that toys that they have or the toys I used to play with growing up so I don't mind buying them and pass them on to my nephew and nieces and neighbors children's but actually they have a lot of great stuff that I know that I can't find no place else like I usually go they have a lot of stuff like for shoe polish and things that I can use on in regard in my kitchen strainers I got everything I just love going up and down the aisles perusing perching the things I need I hope they never go away
