Kathie Hysell has provided excellent service during several transactions including homeowners insurance for our new home, flood insurance and two vehicles. I have been with State Farm since I was 16, but Kathie set me at ease by being thorough throughout our move from TN to VT. Looking forward to seeing all that Allstate has to offer.

Haven’t been with them for less than a year, so I can say that so far the customer service has been excellent. Their rates are very competitive, and the communication is excellent.

Carried Allstate for years and was always happy with the friendly service I received from the Bill Vien agency. I still have a homeowner's policy with Allstate but recently was disappointed to have to cancel my auto policy due to high premiums with my teenage son now being a driver. As usual, my local Allstate folks were right on the ball and had everything set up for me immediately. One thing I have always appreciated is that no matter who I talk to, they first want to make sure everyone is OK and that no one was hurt in the accident. They are genuinely concerned for our safety and about wanting to provide the very best in service and support.

Bill's Vien's Allstate Agency is by far the best I have ever worked with. They always answer the phone and are able to immediately assist you no matter what your request may be. They email information directly to you while you wait on the phone to insure you've received it. Service and value like this simply doesn't exist any more. I wish they would expand to other markets so i could use them more often!

When I started doing business with the Rutland office I carried multiple vehicles and homeowner insurance policies.
I worried that as I downsized to just my personal vehicle I would not be as valuable a customer.
However, within weeks of informing them I am now disabled and on a fixed income, I received an updated policy quote that is more affordable!
Bill Vien should be pleased and proud that his staff is not only ADA compliant, but each team member uniformly delivers cheerful, compassionate, competent & professional service on a consistent basis.

Friendly staff, extremely knowledgeable and helpful!

I have been an Allstate customer for auto (and now motorcycle) and home insurance since the 1970's and had the Vien agency handle my insurance since moving to Vermont in 2005. I am reasonably sure that I could likely save some money going elsewhere, but the service I get from Vien agency and Allstate makes foregoing a few potential dollars worthwhile. When I have questions, they are answered immediately, courteously and professional by Mr. Vien's staff and my few claims (especially major damage to one vehicle from a hail storm a few years ago) were handled fairly, quickly and without any arguments. Unless one is looking to save the last possible nickel, Allstate/Vien has been a good choice. What good is it to save a few dollars if one has to a major hassle when there is a claim? Highly recommended.

Hugely helpful with a difficult insurance, all while needing it done in a hurry. I spoke with Nick who followed through and was extremely helpful and went beyond what you would expect. I’ve been an Allstate customer for more than 15 yrs and this agency will be the reason I remain a customer for years to come.
