Brookfield Craft Center is a magical place with myriad opportunities for curious folks to explore the limits of their imagination. Experienced, thoughtful and intuitive teachers inspire us to try, to learn from our mistakes, try again... the result is the joy of the creative process.

I just took Intro to Welding and Forging with Andrew Chapman, who I can't say enough good things about. He's a master and a patient guide. I look forward to taking many more workshops at Brookfield.

I took the stacking rings class and had a great time. Lori was an amazing teacher and we all walked out with several rings! I learned a lot of different techniques and will be returning to take another class with Lori as soon as I can. Highly recommended!

Amazing! Our kids loved the week of pottery camp. The artists are patient, friendly, and provided a wonderful environment teaching the kids different skills. They learned all about pottery, exploring their creativity and using the pottery wheel. Love all the different creative things kids and adults can learn. Thank you for a great week!!!

Fresh food and Yummy. Shared a poke tuna bowl, some Guacamole, hummus and chips. Great price and nice staff.

My son took a private blacksmithing class with Chris and it was amazing. We just set him up for two more classes. What a cool experience to be able to work in the forge. Chris was patient and enthusiastic and really knew his audience.

Just signed up for my third blacksmithing class at BCC, I've learned alot as a weekend warrior in the trade, and had a good time doing so! Knowledgeable and friendly staff. I would recommend to anyone interested in learning a craft or trade that this is a great place to start.

It's nice too have a local Art's and Craft center so close in proximity. I have seen some very fine artists come through this area educational center. There are day classes galore to partake of or multi-week sessions to hone the full complement of you're art motivations

I found the experience at Brookfield to be somewhat pedestrian. I'm not sure if the people who I studied under actually had any field experience. The website said that they were nationally renowned. But when I went to other craft centers like Penland School of Crafts or Silvermine Arts Center. They didn't know a thing about Brookfield Craft Center. Why would an institution claim notoriety when they clearly don't have any true reputation. Snake Oil is what I say. Take classes here if you want to learn to make buttons and nicknacks. But if you want to express yourself through the crafts go some where else!

Horrible experience! My daughter was looking forward to participating in a craft here, she was turned away because she couldn't wear a mask. My daughter is 9, and suffers from asthma, especially with the warm/humid weather it can be difficult for her, especially with a mask on. How could an older teacher who has been vaccinated multiple times along with her mask feel nervous or apprehensive being around a young girl who is healthy and not sick! It is a shame that this place would treat my daughter with such prejudice and judgement and not accept her for how she is. I will be making sure the school system no longer uses this facility for their yearly programs. I am a tax payer and I have numerous families who feel the same way! This will not continue! Follow the science people!!!
